Wonderful vacation. Peaceful, relaxing and dog friendly. We swam, we magnet fished off the dock, we went to the aeronautical museum, fine restaurants and of courses the beach. The internet was down but it turned out to be a blessing. We didn’t miss it a bit.

The online photos do not accurately show the property. I asked and was approved to have a wedding here. In planning said wedding, we relied heavily on the photos. The deck up top is a lot smaller than photoed, the white gazebo like structure is now a shed, the hot tub listed doesn’t exist, the bar on the deck does not exist. The AC upstairs worked poorly and a window unit was used instead. The place was filthy. There was a press on nail on the bed when we arrived that did not belong to us.

Beautiful! Fully stocked. Our family and 2 little dogs loved the beach area and dock. Enjoyed unpacking and staying put. Family and furbaby friendly.

This is a very nice property and we enjoyed our stay here. The only downside is that the location is a 30 to 40 minute drive to any restaurants, grocery store and/or shopping areas - so go in prepared for this. But the bayside location is very nice and safe for children and the beds sleep wonderful!! We had my grandson’s ball team over for a cookout and to swim and it went great - all the way down to the homemade ice cream. The owners daughter lives right next door and they are a lot of help and they love animals!!

My family and our dog loved this property. It was a secluded paradise where we fished and laid around. We went to the local bait shop for live bait for live shrimp and the fish were biting off the dock. The neighbors were very friendly and their dog kept ours company. If you want a place that’s off the beaten path, relaxing and not too far from it all this is the place.

We loved the stay at this home because it was secluded, quiet, and beautiful. We have stayed several times in Gulf Shores but due to short notice for our daughter's aircraft assignment at Pensacola, no homes were available. After staying here, we will not go back. This home was quiet and we never had to worry about noisy neighbors like in Gulf Shores. We loved the dock to watch the water, swim in the gentle waters of the bay, and enjoy our own personal beach every day. This was a lovely home that fit our style much better than Gulf Shores!

We enjoyed out stay. Only problem is air conditioning didnt work properly so we had window units and fans everywhere. The porch has so many bugs you couldnt sit outside.

First of all, the property is beautiful. Can’t beat the peacefulness of the backyard and the dock. I didn’t realize when I booked it that it is actually really secluded. This was a good and bad thing, depending on what you’re seeking. It was at least 30-40 minutes to any restaurants, grocery stores or beaches. We ended up appreciating this after seeing the busy area of Gulf Shores. It was so secluded that we couldn’t have food or groceries delivered. Just the price to pay for being so secluded.
Also, the air conditioner was not working. I really feel like this is something that should have been shared with us before our arrival. They brought in tons of fans and it was tolerable.
We appreciated that the property was pet friendly! And the neighbor was so very nice and let us take his boat out by ourselves.
We ended up loving this stay and made some wonderful memories. We would have enjoyed the first day or 2 more if we had been more aware of what we were going to experience. Hope this helps future guests!

Description states 3 bedrooms , it’s 2 with a very small bunk room, central ac doesn’t work very well( owner says not to put below 72 or loose deposit) house has portable fans everywhere and 2 a/c units, and we saw lots of roaches, no outside water to rinse anything off outside, it was cut off because of a busted pipe they haven’t fixed, and we couldn’t use the microwave at all, couldn’t get it out of an area to plug it in🙄 we have been staying in Gulf Shores for over 30 yrs and have never been disappointed until this yr!!

This property is great for boat owners. It is a short distance by boat to get to the bays behind orange beach and Perdido Key. You can take your boat to lots of swimming areas like Robinson Island or to restaurants close by like OSO. The third bedroom is very small. Just big enough for bunk beds so it’s fine for kids. We enjoyed our stay. The wharf is really nice to sit on and relax and there is a small private sandy beach too.

Our stay was amazing! It was nice to be away from crowded condo parking lots and streets during the busy summer season. This home is tucked away and very quiet and serene! We enjoyed easy access to swimming, boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The house is small but very well laid out and decorated. We had 6 adults and 4 children and were comfortable. Honestly, we spent most of our time on the beautiful dock or back porches.
Owners were great communicators and easy to work with. High recommend this locations for a relaxing and fun vacation!

The property was very clean and just as pictured. Great layout. Backyard is perfect. Huge yard leading to a soft sandy beach with boat dock! With small children is was super relaxing not worrying as they played in the water because the water is very calm and is a slow gradual decline into the deep water. Many attractions very close by for family fun. Highly recommended. Neighbors are super friendly and a joy to talk to. Can’t wait to go back!

When we arrived, the home seemed smaller than it looked in photos, but it is brilliantly laid out and was absolutely perfect. The description clearly states the square footage. There was seating for 8 at the dining room table, 4 at the bar, and 8-10 in the living room. The homeowner had the lights on and ready for us when we walked in. It was gorgeous to arrive at night. It was almost enchanting to walk into this home, and it smelled amazing too. Our one and only disappointment was that the dock was closed and that wasn’t clearly stated online. I felt frustrated about that, but I contacted the owners and almost immediately they responded. The dock wasn’t completed while we were there, but it was completed enough for my teenage boys to fish. They had the best time out there late at night. The homeowners were fantastic to work with. Very responsive and considerate of my concerns. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet get away on the calm water. P.S. You can lie in the master king bed and see the sunrise right from the bed.

Owners are great. Next door neighbors are awesome. Pier was almost finished but we were still able to swim, fish, canoe, and set crab traps. Slow paced and very relaxing. Privacy was awesome. Back yard was huge for flying kites and cornhole games. We had a shrimp boil and cooked on the grills. I brought my stuff for the boil but they had stuff on site also. The only negative was no down stairs shower. The queen sleeper sofa was down stairs and my parents slept on it to avoid stairs. Mattress was a little thin but we put an air mattress and on top. Adding a shower to the downstairs bathroom would have made this perfect. Overall, very pleased and would book again. My parents and in-laws really enjoyed having a private beach! Kids loved the water and beach also.

When we arrived, we were disappointed at the size, however once we entered the cottage we discovered how the well planned layout of both floors met our needs. we had a wonderful time. unfortunately hurricane sally made the dock unusable. The common area of the cottage was well designed and the kitchen was well equipped. The owners were helpful and available when needed.
