About this house rental
Welcome, Welcome and thanks for looking. I am offering my lovely four bedroom Victorian terrace house, to those of you visiting Brighton for any length of time.
The entire house has been recently renovated (March 2020), with a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms and a loft conversion. The house is light and airy, with high ceilings.
On the first floor, there are 3 double bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has French doors which open on to a pretty little garden. The large front bedroom is newly decorated with a double bed and 2 guest beds. The other 2 first floor bedrooms each have double bed. The second floor also has a double bedroom and separate bathroom. The house can comfortably accommodate 10 people.
The house itself has all the necessary amenities and mod cons. The bathrooms are clean and modern and one has a shower and one also has a bath with integrated shower. There is also a spacious lounge/dining room, with a 50 inch smart TV, Sky TV, free wifi, fully-equipped brand new kitchen with new appliances - washing machine/drying machine, dishwasher and microwave. 2 of the bedrooms also have smart TV's.
I have a little sun-trap garden which you are welcome to utilise, with table, chairs. Should you wish to smoke, I am happy for you to do so in the garden.
There is free parking a couple of streets away. Alternatively, I may be able to order parking vouchers for you, if you want to park outside the house.
There is a bus stop two seconds from the house, which makes it really convenient, when coming back from town after shopping or a night out.
The Lewes Road is a flat area of Brighton, so you don't have to worry about having to climb a hill to get to the house. Brighton city centre and the Lanes and Seafront are almost on the doorstep, 10-15 minutes' walk away (in a straight line – no hills!) where a vast array of bars, restaurants and shops can be found. One can dine out at some of the best restaurants Brighton has to offer or simply grab a bite to eat in one of the many pubs or cosy cafe bars. There you will find an extensive range of high street shops, designer boutiques, bars, cafes, the famous Lanes, Brighton Pavilion and many other tourist attractions.
Brighton station is also around 10-15 minutes' walk away, which makes it a great base for sightseeing in London, which is only 50 minutes away by train.
Staying in Lewes Road, everything is on your doorstep. There are cafes and eateries/restaurants to suit every taste and the local general stores stay open until 10pm every night.
I am happy to accommodate people for long or short stays. Do please note, however, that there is generally a 2 night minimum stay at weekends and 3 night minimum stay on bank holidays and Pride weekend (Although, I do accept one night stays during the week).
Please note that I do not accept teenage groups or groups from Brighton.
Please also note that all damages and breakages must be paid for please, as this is a much loved family holiday home. The house is cleaned professionally after each guest(s) stay, with the cost being included in the booking fee. I would also ask that no glitter is brought into the house please, as I have to pay my cleaner for the additional time it takes to remove it.
I am happy to negotiate a reduced fee for longer stays, please feel free to ask.
I look forward to welcoming you to beautiful Brighton!

Easy walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. There’s a wonderful play park nearby and buses were an easy way for avoiding the return walk for a tired toddler. Comfortable beds and two bathrooms was useful so no one had to wait for a shower. Both showers good and very well cleaned. Thank you for providing soap and cleaning products . Plenty of TVs to suit everyone.
Host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a great time.

Friendly host and easy to communicate with. Lovely house to stay in, very spacious. Only a short walk to the seafront.
Tea and coffee on arrival and all essentials supplied. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fantastic communication from the very start with Babs. The house is beautiful, clean and a perfect location with the beach a short walk or 5 mins on the bus. Babs could not have been a better host and we would defo recommend her place to anyone. Thanks again for having us Babs, we hope to see you again one day. X

Highly recommend this property. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and modern with everything you could need. Plenty of space to socialise inside and out. Babs was always quick to message when I was making my booking and with how to check in etc. Short walk into Brighton centre, bus stops just outside property with plenty of buses avaliable. Thank you Babs for a great weekend, we really enjoyed staying in your house.

The location was perfect. Close enough to walk into Brighton Centre and easy to find. Babs made the entire experience smooth and hassle free with excellent communication throughout. Even taking the time to text us during our stay to recommenced a local festival, which was fantastic! If ever you’re staying in Brighton during Patchfest, I highly recommended it. Thank you Babs 😊

The living room furniture is very very old. You kinda sink into it. You will end up parking several blocks away. But that's typical for any home in this area. Just mentioning this if you are coming by car. The owner is very nice.

Babs made everything incredibly easy and nothing was too much trouble. There was more than enough space for 8 of us.
The house was clean and nice and comfortably decorated to have a really homely feel. We would definitely return!
The location is really convenient with close access to the centre, a large supermarket and of course the water front.
100% reccomend

We all really enjoyed our weekend stay in this house. It was pretty central & was only a ten minute taxi ride to the pier & the town. Babs was great! Would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant weekend stay in this lovely Brighton house! The house was easy to find, unloading the car was a bit tricky as its on the main road but found plenty of places to park not too far away. The house is very nice and spacious, had everything you would need clean towels, tea, coffee etc. Very easy and quick to get down to the seafront either on the bus from just outside or taxi.
Overall a really lovely and reasonably priced house for a stay in Birghton!
Very nice owner Babs - so helpful right from the beginning and very easy to contact.

Babs was very helpful in the lead up to our stay and also whilst there. There was ample kitchen utensils, glasses etc, as well as fresh towels. There was 9 of us staying and the third garden room I'd say is really rather snug for 2 people to stay in, would recommend only 1 in that room. The downstairs is a lovely space and great for get togethers. It's very cheap if getting cabs in evening to the centre or seafront. It was mainly clean but could do with a deep clean to get rid of any extra cobwebs and under the top cupboards in the kitchen. Compared to other houses in Brighton which seem to be overpriced, this was an great. A great price and we had a lovely stay there. Babs is a great host and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
