Great views and terrific location!

Very clean, well stocked and comfortable accommodation. Excellent location for just relaxing or as a base for exploring Belfast, Camden and even Acadia. We particularly enjoyed kayaking with the seals in the bay and watching the juvenile eagles that made one of trees in front of the property their favorite place to hang out.

The pictures of this listing do not do it justice. This property is bright, airy, and welcoming. Kerry is kind, quick to respond, and very welcoming. There was so much to do here that we could have never went sightseeing and been busy every day. Yes the beach is rocky and the stairs a bit steep, but Maine is rocky and the stairs very well built and solid. The home is very clean and bright and had everything you could ever need while there. We enjoyed a fire almost every night. Watch the sunrise almost every morning. Hand an Eagle family perch in a pine right on the property every day. Enjoyed the bay in the owners Kayaks and canoe. Watch the bay seals, fishermen, sailboats, and birds. So much to see.
Very close was Camden State Park, Owl Head lighthouse, Arcadia National Park, Penoboscot bridge tower, Fort Knox, Rockland, Belfast, Sears Island, and so much more. We recommend if you want Lobster to cook yourself to make the trip to Owel Head Lobster Company. Very very affordable! Bring cash/check and a cooler. Purchase fresh from the wholesaler.
There will not be enough space for me to sincerely express how we feel about this amazing home and the owner. We had a wonderful time so much so we are already planning a return trip. Our thanks to Kerry.

It’s the first VRBO we’ve stayed in that look better than the pictures! Great house, incredible views, very clean and organized.

This is a cozy house with a lot of ambience and peace, and we will be back! Lots of space to spread out and relax, especially in the deck chairs facing the bay. We just enjoyed the view and watching the wildlife. Kerry had everything we needed and more. What a great spot to explore Maine from!!

The home is very clean and comfortable. We watched seals from the deck and saw an eagle. Enjoyed the harbor and walking bridge in Belfast. Watched sea otters from the walking bridge. Highly recommend.

The house was incredible. The view of the water, boats and beautiful birds in the trees were wonderful. Everything was supplied in the house. We loved the quiet end of the lane, it was very private and restful. We even saw an eagle. It was an amazing stay.

The house was larger than expected, extraordinarily well-supplied, and immaculately clean. We used it as a base to explore Deer Isle, Isleboro, Blue Hill, and the Belfast area (only rainy weather one day kept us from Vinalhaven) and a delightful and restful vacation.

We cannot say enough good things about this house on Searsport Bay. The house was welcoming, and Kerry had everything you might possibly need available. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. The sitting platform is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the view. The stairs have double railing and are easy to go up and down. The beach, as stated, is rocky so have aqua shoes or sneakers for the long walks you can take in either direction. While there we saw eagles, ospreys, loons, and cormorants fishing, and a number of sea ducks and seals as well. It was fun watching all the boats coming in and out of the harbor. It was especially interesting to watch the fishing boats pulling their nets full of fish. We did tear ourselves away from the house to hike the local state parks and Sears Island. It was the best vacation. Harborside West is certainly a place we would love to stay at again in the future.

This is a well maintained beautiful place that offers picturesque views and a relaxing feel. Great for unplugging from work and finding your zen.

We loved our stay at this beautiful property by the bay. Getting up each morning to look at the bay and sitting either inside or outside watching it. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed cooking there, eating there, and hanging out. Searsport has good restaurants and a nice grocery store. We were given all this information by the property manager and it was all useful. Don't miss Sears Island down the road. We will definitely go back.

Came back for the second year for a relaxing girls weekend and it was just as magical as the first. The home and property are lovely. The view is stunning. The area is a delight. We plan to return next year too.

This oceanfront property is a hidden gem with all comfort and water related activity available. Young's Lobster Pound was our regular visit every morning. We all had great time. Just on a note, if arriving late after dark, may be a bit tricky to find the house, the mail box was located in front of the wrong house. The actual house number is color-blended with the post, made it hard to see. The cell phone of property owner/manager also difficult to get a hold of. Also have to be careful at night walking on the deck, as it has different level without step-marking light, we fell down a few times even before a drop of ET-OH drinking. This can be dangerous if the person is not physically fit. The cleaning was not meticulous especially in bathrooms, but the owner has promptly give us courtesy and refund us cleaning fee, which we are greatly appreciate it.

Stayed at this lovely home on the harbor and enjoyed privacy and tranquility. Owner provided everything we needed, in addition to kayaks and canoes. Location was perfect for day trips to Boothbay and Acadia. Would go back there again!!!

The 3 bedrooms were great. The basement one was super comfortable and very private. I liked the view of the ocean, the large deck, new firepit and overall location

Beautiful little home with a beautiful view. Of note, the owners were super helpful with any question or request we had. 10/10 would stay again.

We spent a week here in August 2020. The house was fantastic and looks much much better in person than in the current pictures. Owners were great to interact with. This place was ideal for our group of two couples with two toddlers. The property itself provides many activity options for young kids. The kids loved playing on the deck. They could also run around on the hilly front lawn which leads into an enormous open space. They also loved running up and down the gravel road leading to the house, there’s a small farm with ponies at the corner. Then of course there is the ocean, reachable right from the backyard down an steep but very manageable and study staircase. The kids loved playing on the rocky shore and one can walk hundreds of feet in either direction as well. The house is very livable. Great simple layout to the living room. Multiple sitting areas, one is a little room with large windows looking out onto the ocean (as does the kitchen and living room.) kitchen was very usable. Needs updating but we cooked twice a day and it was perfectly fine. Early morning coffee or dinner and drinks overlooking the ocean is hard to beat. The feeling of the property was very open and spacious as well as private and quiet. The WiFi was fine - I took a number of Zoom business calls without issue. Air conditioning was great. Cell service (Verizon) was strong as well. Young’s Lobster Pound is 7 minutes away by car and there’s a huge Hannafords supermarket in Belfast, which is a lovely quaint town with shops and places to eat and a nice pier/harbor feel. If you’re looking for a coastal Maine experience in a terrific house, this is a great choice. We loved it.
