About this house rental
Hailey is the airport 'hub' of the Sun Valley area, nestled in the hills just 15 minutes from Ketchum and 20 minutes from the world famous Sun Valley Resort. This house is offered as a private retreat where guests feel at home in a casual, comfortable, quiet setting with walking distance to the river and the welcoming town of Hailey.
The property is home to three structures set among the cottonwoods. Two are rental units, one is the owner's residence. Care has been taken to ensure privacy as each rental unit is quite close in proximity. Parking is available just steps from your door and each unit has it's own private patio space.
The Hailey House is tucked into the trees just down Little Indio Lane, around the corner from everything that makes Hailey a great place to stay! Hop Porter Park, Hailey's city park, is just a short walk from the Hailey House and offers vast expanses of lawn, a covered BBQ/entertaining area and huge play structures for the kids. Lion's Park, the Wood River Nature Conservancy river trail, and Carbonate Mountain for hiking and biking are all just a short walk from this house. Fishing on the beautiful Wood River is also just a stone's throw away.
A short walk from the Big Wood River or the center of historic downtown Hailey, the Hailey Cabin is just minutes away from world-class restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.

Hailey, close to town but very quiet.
Linda & Danny are great hosts. The place was well done and we had everything we needed.
We came for a wedding and it was great to be close to them.
Thank you again, Linda & Danny!

The little house was really nice to stay in. We had our daughter and grandsons come over one night. We baked cookies and played out in the leaves in the backyard. Nice quite location but still close to everything. We hope we can stay there again next time we go up there.

What a lovely cabin. Could not have been cleaner and better organized. The attention detail including a very comfortable bed, extra kitchen supplies and clear instructions was appreciated. Would highly recommend

We stayed at this property last year and loved how everything you can think of is available. Walkable to downtown and trails and clean as a whistle.

We enjoyed our stay in Hailey. The location was convenient for exploring the Sun Valley area and hiking. The property was exactly as advertised and very clean. Perfect size and layout for two of us and our dog. The host was friendly and very welcoming to us and our pup! Would definitely return.

Private location with lots of nature and sweet baby owls was a plus

The property description lists two beds, we could only find one. My wife has health issues which requires us to sleep in separate beds. The first night was so rough, with only one bed, we cut our trip short and came home.

I'm a psychologist with a heavy emotional load of clients and I sometimes just need to have quiet space as an introvert to rejuvenate my soul! This little cabin get-away afforded me time alone and away with my puppy from the cares of the world. It's a beautiful setting, the bed was fantastic--I got the rest and relaxation I needed to start a new year! I would do it again in the future!

Shaded property along a natural setting that's very well kept and clean. Everything you need for a great space to base from. Cozy & peaceful after an adventurous day. We would return (and add a couple days) in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

My husband and I stayed at this property while visiting Sun Valley and were extremely impressed and comfortable with this cute one bedroom/one bathroom house.
The amenities were all that we could have hoped for, the location was close to hiking, parks and Hailey. And the hosts were available and helpful. Highly recommend!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this modest little one-bedroom cabin near the Big Wood River. The place is nicely kept-up with beautiful interior. Undoubtedly, the "helpful hint" notes throughout (and the pre-trip emails about house rules, etc.) work well to keep the place looking nearly brand-new.
Our pug was welcomed to stay with us, and was just as comfy as we were. They even supply a crate for dogs! Literally, everything was thought of by these conscientious hosts.
The only downfall I found was the proximity to a local park. It could've been a one-off weekend with a big party there (and lots of screeching kids), but it'd be a little annoying if it's a regular thing as it sounds like they're just on the other side of the woods and creek in the back area.
That said, I'd definitely recommend this spot to travelers to Hailey, Ketchum or Sun Valley.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful rock towers in the near distance. Upon our arrival, the cabin was welcoming, clean and well organized. We enjoyed the living room and the TV and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and a great fridge. Bedroom was nicely decorated with an amazing king size bed that was so comfortable. Bathroom and washer and dryer were new and again everything we needed was provided - soap, hair dryer, laundry soap, cleaning products etc. Cabin is located in Hailey which is a cute little town - we had great dinners at the Power House and enjoyed seeing a movie at the local theater. All in all, we had a very nice stay at Linda's cabin and plan to return.

Very cute, well furnished and stocked. Great location for walking to town and trails. We had hot weather so AC would have been great but understand most places don’t have that. If one is bringing a dog I would advise you to get owners long list of rules, could not even run to grocery store while husband was fishing without taking dogs. Otherwise great place.

Great communication with the owner. Easy check-in and great directions. The place was exactly as depicted in the listing and it was immaculate! Loved the "helpful hints" posted where they'd be needed in addition to also in a folder. Great quiet neighborhood that was easy walking distance to the river, Main St, a park, and a great hiking trail. The owners are right next door in case you need anything, but they respect your privacy if you don't. We'd definitely stay here again!

This property was well appointed and clean. The owners did graciously allow my friend and I, each with a dog ( lab and huskyX) to come even though they have since changed their dog policy to 1 dog less than 40 pounds. However there are way too many sticky notes and framed rules of what you can’t do: only 1 load of laundry and short showers “NO EXCEPTIONS”. We signed a dog rule paper , we’re sent a message to read them before we arrived the first day, found them in the guest instruction book ( with 7 other pages of instructions) and then saw them once more framed and hanging on the wall. Other notes were above light switches, on a dog crate and attached to an orange cone so you parked exactly where they wanted you to. Friends came to visit for a short while one morning and mistakenly parked where they weren’t suppose to be and were told by the owner exactly where he wanted them. The owner asked if we 2 friends would be sharing a bed. I said no so she graciously made up a bed on the sofa for me. Supposedly the furniture was new yet they purchased a sofa and not a sofa bed. So if a couple had 1 or 2 kids there would be no place for them to sleep. On 2 occasions on back to back days, repairmen had to enter the property to repair the dishwasher(this we found out via a sticky note when we first arrived so had a heads up) the second was to repair a bathroom sink plunger. This was a last minute thing that we found out about via a message at 8:05am and we were already on the road. While the owner did come in with the plumber, it was not sufficient notification. Then there was the temperature situation. Certainly they had no control over the heat wave in ID and we knew the place was not air conditioned but were prepared to bring our own fans if needed. The owners assured us there were ceiling fans and a small fan to move around plus shades to pull down during the day. Small fan was right! This thing was the size of your hand. While it did cool down at night (59 degrees) it took from 9pm when you opened the windows till midnight to be comfortable. Because of big picture windows that didn’t open and locked bedroom windows cross ventilation was impossible. We borrowed a fan from friends and then surprisingly the next day a bigger fan appeared on our deck from the owners. Of course we only had 2 nights left to sweat through. Again if you are a couple with no dogs who likes to make friends with the owners, then this place is for you.
