About this cottage rental
Set on a quiet bay in central Lake Rosseau, this beautiful year-round estate faces due west, enjoying beautiful, windless sunsets all year. We also get sun first thing in the morning; it's exceedingly rare to get both on the lake.
Post-and-beam structures and reclaimed barn-board floors epitomize Muskoka living. Six bedrooms, two open kitchens, two wood-burning and one gas fireplace, cathedral-ceiling living room, wrap-around decks, boathouse bar, 4 50+" HD TVs, enormous campfire pit, hot tub, private boathouse condo, and much more.
Just five minutes from Port Sandfield by land or lake. 10 minutes from Port Carling. Easy access to Lake Joseph via Joe River or Port Sandfield. 5 minutes from the spa at JW Marriott. Fantastic combination of location and luxury.
As of 2023, we now have Bell Fibe (fibre internet). It's hard to believe, but the internet is better than a Toronto office building. You can "work from home" with ease.
The property is occupied year-round. It’s a wonderful fall or winter getaway. Please note the outdoor plumbing - including the hot tub - must be shut down for the winter.

We loved our stay. The hot tub, the kayaks, the shallow swimming area, the games, the boathouse darts and lounge areas, the magical outdoor dining, so many areas for family to gather together and chill with lots of space. The property is home to so much nature the only downside being the travelling geese and water fowl which visit often orherwise our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Scott and family for your attentive hospitality and incredible welcome basket!!!!

The cottage and boat house are even more impressive in person, pictures don't do this place justice ! The cottage manual Scott provides once you have booked is perfect, it helps you think of things you may not have otherwise. Absolutely everything you can possibly need is there for you .... you really feel at home !! I was there with my family, my dogs and friends for Thanksgiving and the week after, all of us loved the space and cannot wait to go back again ! Thank you Scott and family for sharing your beautiful cottage and making our stay perfect !

This property was exactly what we needed. Location is stunning, pix are 100% accurate, lots of privacy but also easy access to town. Scott was extremely responsive which was great as it was my first time in the region so I did have some questions. We hope to make it an annual tradition.

This is a great property with lot's to do to keep people engaged. The boathouse was amazing! The main house is functional for sleeping and food prep. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower frequently. The property is in a quiet bay which we really loved! Great for kids to be in the water and for paddling around on the kayaks and SUP's. A great vacation with a larger group.

What a stunning property; the cottage, boathouse and the grounds were beautiful. Scott and Brandon were a pleasure to deal with, and everything at the cottage was beyond what was represented in the pictures online. We can't say enough about this place and will be back again. What a fantastic experience for family and our dogs. Thanks again for being able to enjoy your home away from home!

Perfectly located cottage - so close to Port Carling, Port Sandfield. Excellent shallow water for young kids and older adults and plenty of afternoon sun for all!

Extended family vacation - shallow entry into water with sandy bottom. Hours of play for the kids = hours of relaxation for adults. Kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped. The bar at the boathouse was a gathering place while we took turns making dinner in the big house. Love this place!

My wife, son and I stayed for two weeks at Westview and enjoyed it immensely. The shallow sandy entry around the dock and the boathouse is perfect for younger children and the bar on the upper deck at the boathouse is perfect for adult cocktail hour. The cottage and the boathouse are well-appointed and well-stocked and Scott was a pleasure to deal with. We wanted to extend our stay, but it was too popular and already booked. We look forward to visiting next year!
