For our bicycling friends, be sure to plan a ride on the paved 26 mile “Little Traverse Wheelway” between Charlevoix and Petoskey along the Lake Michigan Shore ( Boyne Mountain and Avalache in Boyne City also offers challenging mountain biking trails). Three couples spent an extended fall weekend at this beautiful location. Plenty of space with private bedrooms and bath spread between three floors. The views across the lake were wonderful, especially when sitting in front of the fireplace. Great location to town to enjoy dining and shopping. The only disappointment was spending the first half hour of our stay tracking down the low battery "beeps" from smoke and CO detectors. When I notified the property management company, no effort was made to come service the detectors. Aside from this, I would recommend this property and consider staying again in the future.

Great house for our 3 family (6 adults and 6 kids) getaway! Plenty of space and is an unique layout, but works well for multiple family’s.

We absolutely loved this property for our group! The large deck is perfect for morning coffee, meals, and just relaxing with a glass of wine. The view from the house onto Lake Charlevoix is quintessential Northern Michigan. The house was clean and had the perfect amount of beds for our group. The house was well equipped and we really enjoyed our time!

This was a great place to stay with a larger group. Be mindful of quiet hours. This was great for a group of adults. Large kitchen and living room spaces where everyone could be together. The hosts were very nice, but the ring alarm kept going off with little resolve than unplugging, but back up battery kept the alarm on. Had to place in the garage. Little resolve here. Other than that, no complaints.

We had a wonderful time staying here! We had enough space to spread out, but also enough to all be together for meals, card games, etc. Perfect for a large group!

This house is amazing. The set up is perfect for multiple families. We rent up north often and this is one the nicest and cleanest homes we’ve stayed. The view of the lake from the family room was beautiful. The location was perfect, ten minutes door to parking at boyne mountain. The hot tub was great. We will definitely look to rent this home again and we’d love to come back in the summer.

The house was spacious and well kept, there was definitely plenty of room for our family of 12. We stayed over the New Years holiday and highly recommend going to the Avalanche Preserve park and sledding with kids (bring your own sleds). The ping pong table and hot tub were great for all. The hot tub was located next to the garage/driveway which was a little odd but probably has great views of the water.

The home was nice and overall cleanly. However, there was a complete lack of cleaning supplies to tidy house upon leaving. Additionally, the power box kept tripping more times than i can even count over the course of 3 days. Also, electric door lock wasnt working. Property manager came to give us key and actually slipped on driveway. Property manager also complained about trash over flowing from trash can but only 1 can was provided for 10 people. Doesnt make sense. Property manager will also try to blame you and make a huge deal if even a solitary chair isnt put back in place. Overall it was a nice home, and we enjoyed ourselves. But neighbor will also call the cops on you if you use the hottub. Police are very nice and friendly though. The experience was not as good with the power shutting off continuously. And all we had was 2 tv's on and a stereo. normal stuff you would use in a home. Fortunately, we were able to reset the breaker each time. But is likely a potential fire hazard and could be dangerous, as this can cause shorting in wiring. Likely due to being an older power panel and wiring. ... Lastly, I left my watch at the home and an xbox controller and they never called me about it. So if you lose something, dont expect it to be returned. Property manager will also ask you to send her money via venmo to "repair damages" which would mean she wants to be paid for cleaning dirty dishes. Because they didnt provide a sponge for us to do them. Overall, poor experience by her.

First VRBO experience and honestly, it could not have gone any better. Exceeded all expectations - both the process and the property.

The house is large and perfect for families with children. The location is fantastic, walking distance to Boyne City, a short drive to Boyne Mountain resort, and beach access across the street or at the larger beach just a short walk towards Boyne City. The views of Lake Charlevoix are amazing.
