The house was great and pretty good for what we needed. We had a couple of things we needed and the property manager was very helpful and nice and took care of it in a quick manner.

Charming older home with easy access to so many Seattle neighborhoods, The hosts are so communicative and accommodating! The grandkids loved the swing set and back porch. We all enjoyed the oversized table where we could eat together, play games and work on puzzles in our down time. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place. Ask manager to check the lock before checking in. The battery was dead so we couldn't get into the house with the code. Downstairs shower is difficult to turn off.
The manager was quick to reply to concerns and needs.

Our family spent Thanksgiving 2022 at the Fremont House and had plenty of room. The dining room table was huge! There were plenty of dishes for our large group. We had a great time!

This is a good rental for large groups, with some caveats noted below. We were able to comfortably accommodate 4 adult couples (parents & grandparents) and 2 kids with beds to spare. The location is convenient and the house is in fairly good condition. The condition of the exterior (table, back porch, play area) has declined from what is shown in the listing, seemingly from lack of maintenance, and the interior decor feels more like a frat house than a family home — lots of cheaply-framed sports memorabilia in every room, a ripped shower curtain covering the upstairs bedroom window, etc. The kitchen is not well-appointed to cook for large groups (cheap knives and utensils, too-small pots and pans, no serving platters, very few kitchen basics like cooking oil, food storage containers or wraps), so definitely a better choice for a group that is not planning to do much cooking.
The property manager was very kind, helpful and responsive, quickly bringing a set of towels for us when we realized we were short, and it was perfectly clean when we arrived.
Note that it’s better to park on the street as the off-street parking space is narrow and up a very steep driveway, but there was plenty of street parking.
Overall, I think I would have been more satisfied with this rental as-is if we’d paid less for it; we paid peak summer season prices, and it didn’t feel like a great value for money. I hope the owners will take into account our feedback and the extensive feedback others have left in their guest book to improve the property. It has so much potential to be the perfect rental with a little more TLC.

Nice larger house fine for two families with kids. Outside space significantly declined vs. listing photos overgrown, table peeling, meh playscape. Fairly quiet area close to downtown, walkable to park and coffee. Short drive to many restaurants. Teenage boy loved wall decor celebrating all Seattle sports teams.

We had a group of 12 adults coming (and tow small grandchildren) for a wedding. Ice machine didn't work, drain on master bath totally clogged, ironing board broken, cords dangling from TV on wall where children might be, backyard play set had not been cleaned in a long time, yard had not been mowed or swept/raked in weeks. Knowing we were coming and had paid in advance for the listing months ahead did not inspire any maintenance in advance of our stay. Some got fixed 3 days into a 5 night stay. Some did not happen.....

It was a bit disappointing. But in the main it was a fun trip & we’ll probably do VRBO sgain

This property was very clean and well located. The furnishings were a bit more spartan than expected - all seattle sports based which was not the impression from the online pictures. Very clean, roomy and well located.

The house was very nice and worked well for our large group. The downstairs bedrooms has 2 king beds and the other bedrooms have king size beds too

This was a beautiful, vintage home with updated bathrooms and beautiful windows. My 3 daughters absolutely loved the playground in the back yard. The adults loved the walkability and location. The house was super clean and plenty big for our entire family to spread out- which was great!
We all agreed that one downfall was that the photos on the listing are not a good example of what the home currently looks like. I believe the photos on the listing are professional photos from when the home was listed and sold a few years ago. The home is in good shape, but does not feature the beautiful furniture and decor that was shown in the listing- FYI. That was a little bit of a bummer for us. But that’s ok. Also, the kitchen was not very well stocked. We didn’t have any cookie sheets or pizza pans. Also, no plastic cups or plates for kids. So maybe bring those if needed! We truly loved our stay! If you could add one thing, I think it would be some puzzles, games or books for the kids. That would be helpful! Thanks

We stay in Seattle every year for Thanksgiving. The Fremont home was a great place to relax and enjoy our time together.

This place was great. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Parking was never an issues as there was always street parking. The parking spot provided next to the home was a little small if you had a larger SUV but not a problem since street parking was easy. Definitely recommend staying here if you are wanting a get away in Seattle.

Good house with a great location. If you have little kids, there’s a great park a block away. Nice walk to the main drag with Fremont restaurants and bars. Comfy bed, huge dining room table if you play games. The house sleeps at least 12, but the couch and love seat aren’t nearly big enough to have everyone sit and watch tv. The master bath is great with a huge bathtub, but the water heater isn’t big enough to come close to filling the tub. Definitely a good house to use as a home base if you’re wanting to do all the Seattle things with less time spent inside.

Fairly close to downtown in residential neighborhood. Large home with three floors of bedrooms, allowing space and privacy for all in our group. Nicest part of the house is the light and cheerful main living/dining room on main floor with large windows. Downstairs is a bit dungeon like, but three king beds and separate bathroom make it doable. Parking in the assigned area is tight for a large Expedition, but problem solved with plenty of street parking on the side street.

Great location for our family passing through Seattle for a few days. Plenty of beds and the basement was perfect for the kids. Being two blocks from a great playground and baseball field was an added bonus for my energetic boys. The kitchen and bathrooms have bare essentials only - so you have to plan accordingly if you want to cook. We ended up walking to dinner since there were several close restaurants. No air conditioning. This is not uncommon in Seattle but the house was pretty warm due to the heat wave during our visit. The parking space was tight for a large SUV but there was plenty of street parking. Overall a good experience. The check-in and check-out was seamless and the property managers texted often to make sure there were no issues.

This house was great for our group of 10 adults and a few kids. Plenty of beds/bedrooms for our 5 different couples/families and the basement rooms worked great for putting kids to bed with minimal noise transmission from upstairs.
If you're hoping to cook a lot, there are the bare necessities but not much else, so you'll need to buy or bring your own oil, spices, condiments, etc. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of and plan accordingly.
