About this house rental
Enjoy a spectacular sunrise and panoramic Hales Passage water views from this recently remodeled 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Pet Friendly home. The living area is open space and a view from all the rooms. Sit by the warm fireplace on one side of the living room or relax on the couch and watch TV from the other section of the room, The kitchen has lots of space for a cook or two and there is ample counter space to prepare that gourmet meal. You will find everything that you need in the way of appliances plus all the everyday kitchen necessities. The 2 bedrooms each have a Queen size bed and sitting area. There is an additional Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room. The bathroom has a large shower and double sinks. The laundry room has washer/dryer/freezer and closet. The large deck has an unobstructed water view plus propane BBQ, dining table and chairs and ample outdoor seating. Lummi Island has several walking trails and the hiking trail is within walking distance. Access to the beach is a short drive. Two pets maximum are permitted. They are not permitted on the furniture and beds. If you leave a pet alone in the home they must be crated. Please use a leash when you are walking your pet and you must pick up all "doggy waste". We so enjoyed are stay on Lummi Island. My husband enjoyed his first ferry ride! This is not just a rental this is a home. Wonderful views, very relaxing and the home has everything you could possibly need for your trip. We will definitely be coming back and will stay longer!

The home Lummi is perfect for a quiet place to get away from it all. We stayed there for a second time because the home and the views can't be beat. Our one challenge we encountered were an abundance of Yellow jackets which can't be blamed on the owner or host but it was a challenge to use the wonderful deck.

decorated. The big beautiful deck was just perfect for reading a good book, while admiring the gorgeous view. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you so much!

Exceeded our expectations! We were looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day, and boy, did we find it here! I'm hesitant to write a review because I don't want others to steal our happy place! We will be back!!!

Clean...comfortable...well supplied...wonderful deck and VIEWS! Our family had a lovely, quiet (well, except for when our 2 girls got a little carried away) and RELAXING time. It was a real escape for us and just what we were looking for!

This home served as an office for a few days and then a place for relaxation with family over the weekend. It was warmer than normal so the neighbor stopped by to see if I needed a couple of fans. The internet was very reliable. Working from "home" was seamless. We ate every meal outside on the deck, the kitchen and outdoor grill were great! I would love to visit again!

Virginia’s place was the perfect place to relax for a few days. The host was responsive and has thought of everything. The rooms are clean and spacious and beds super comfy. There were plenty of room to sit, cook, eat inside the house, but we spent as much time as we could sitting on the amazing deck enjoying the beautiful view. A 5-star experience!

Our two week visit to Lummi Island set the standard for excellence for a VRBO. The furniture and decorations in the home were charming. We spent many hours sitting on the large deck watching the water traffic on Hale’s Passage and the incredible view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the home is filled with anything you could want from wonderful towels, an incredibly complete kitchen, and lovely mature landscaping. The only downside is one bathroom, but since we both grew up in homes with one bathroom, it was an easy adjustment.
A member of the family who owns a neighboring home stopped in to introduce himself and make sure we were settled in. Our only challenge is leaving this wonderful home. Thank you for providing us a visually captivating and warm, luxurious two weeks.

Gorgeous views and great beach decor. The side yard was perfect for our energetic dog. Our group felt very cared for with the amenities provided. We had fun with the games and at night we could see the stars and sunset beautifully.

The home is lovely and comfortable, with an unusually good assortment of cooking equipment, which made our stay easy and pleasant. Especially appreciated the deck, with an incredible view and sturdy comfortable furniture. We hope to come again.

This place was so relaxing and had such beautiful views. This is by far the cleanest place in have stayed at. The reason for 4 stars was no beach access anywhere on the island. We had a great time overall!

The view was spectacular! The house was so comfortable and well stocked, and the quality of the linens was amazing! Kitchen had all we needed. The most impressive thing was the support of the owner and property manager. There was an island-wide power outage on Thanksgiving morning. They were quick to answer our call and questions. The owner talked us through how to start the generator with precise instructions. It turned out that we couldn't get it started anyway but we were confident in his instructions. He later called and said he would come over after his family meal to try to start it - and he doesn't live on island. The property manager Virginia was beyond amazing. She put up with many calls from us during the day when she was also preparing for her family feast. When the power was still out in the early evening and no promise of it returning soon she welcomed us to join her family for Thanksgiving! I was so touched by her generosity and kindness to us as strangers. Her warmth during our conversation let me know it would be enjoyable to get acquainted, so we decided to go. Just before we got to her house though another power line was down and they closed the road so we couldn't go in the end. In the end we declined the owner's offer to come over to help with the generator and enjoyed a lovely meal by candlelight cooked on the grill. It was a memorable trip and I felt very thankful for their kindness and the beauty of the place.

We loved the house and the island. Spent hours reading on the deck, drinking coffee with the loons, taking walks, and enjoying time with the family. The house was clean and well outfitted. I would definitely recommend.

My sister and I took our 88 year old mom away for her birthday. We loved spending our days on the deck in the sun visiting while looking at the breathtaking view. We played card games, had our own cornhole tournament with the game we brought and just relaxed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is so homey and beautiful inside and out! A perfect getaway from the busyness of life. Stay here! It’s a must!!

The pictures on this listing don’t do it justice. The house is very new and updated, with thoughtful details throughout. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. The porch is lovely, you can walk to a beautiful hike, and there’s a small grassy area for kids to play. Lummi island was a great getaway, although more for adventurers than those who want easy entertainment. No putt putt or such things, but lovely strolls collecting shells and watching crabs. We were lucky to be there for the Saturday market. A 3 day trip was perfect for us and out 3 & 5 year old boys. The ferry was an easy and charming ten minute ride and all the people were gracious, interesting and unpretentious. I can’t wait to go back!

We hiked, read, watched some movies, napped and slept well. Hit or miss with the one restaurant hours, (willows out of our $$). Come prepared to be there on Island time.

This beautifully decorated home has spectacular water views from every vantage point. It was very comfortable and supplied with everything we needed. Being able to travel here with our small dog was a huge bonus as well. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Home is completely remodeled and very comfortable. The home has a great master bath with large walk in shower and is equipped with top appliances & everything you need in the kitchen. The new deck overlooking the water was where we spent most of our time watching boats and marine life. Nice BBQ off back deck to grill up oysters from Taylor Farms.
This is a peaceful get away from life in the city.

Sitting in the comfy chairs on the deck watching the spectacular view, especially at sunset, was the highlight of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! This property is tidy, nicely decorated, and very relaxing! The view is incredible and the landscape is so charming. The kitchen is properly stocked and we enjoyed the pellet stove on cold evenings. The updated bathroom with walk-in shower is great as well! I highly recommend this property and have already recommended it to friends!

We loved everything about this stay. Our only complaint was that the fireplace was broken and we weren’t able to use it as an additional heat source. House felt a bit chilly without it.

The property was very clean on the inside and out. We loved the amazing view we had. We sat on the deck every morning, just looking out at the water. I liked that it was pet friendly. Our animals are like our kids. We will be back!

This place was absolutely amazing. Sitting on top of a hill overlooking the Puget Sound view was very relaxing and breathtaking. The hosts were very generous with the amenities they offered. The kitchen has anything you can think of, bathrooms were stacked with soft plush towels, rooms had super comfy beds and lots of closet space, separate living and tv area and big tv with amazon fire stick for all your shows. The beach was a quick 10 minutes drive. We will definitely book this place again in the future and highly recommend it.

We loved this home for several reasons: beautiful deep and wide deck with fabulous water view, lots of comfortable outside seating, very comfortable open living area, and cozy pellet stove for the l rainy evenings. The furnishings were very nice – I think newly remodeled - and plenty of space to sit out or inside together or alone. There is also a 1.6 mile hiking trail about .25 down the road – a bit of a climb but again, lovely.
I would consider who in your party is either tall or a little more “robust” in size, as the shower is quite small – like an RV shower - which was the only drawback to a lovely property. Otherwise there is a jetted tub as well.

The property was amazing! The view from the deck was spectacular. Everything was brand new, plenty of room everywhere . The owners really did a great job on the decor and small things like the bathroom towels that were to die for and so were the bedroom sheets and throw blankets. Check in was a breeze. Loved the pellet fireplace. Hats off to the owners for thinking of the little things. We will definitely stay again.

This stunning property is the best place to relax. The deck with its amazing outlook, the completely new furnished house far away from your every day stress slows you down immediately.
The property manager was responsive and super helpful. We had a wonderful weekend on this little island and will be back for sure.
