Guests enter Going Coastal by entering the front door in the carport area of the home and taking the stairs to the first floor of this elevated home. On the first floor, you will find four of the home's five bedrooms -- each with their own private bathroom -- and a den with queen sized sleeper sofa. You may access the covered deck off the first floor of the home from the den and two of the first floor bedrooms. On the second floor, you'll find the home's large living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a half bath tucked away behind the kitchen. The home's master suite is located just off of the living room. Best of all, the screened porch stretches alongside the entire width of the back of the home and has stunning views of the lagoon below. A stairwell on the second-level screened deck takes you to the home's observation deck, which features sweeping views of the lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoyed the stay. Clean and in great location. Everything worked. The extra beach chairs and cart to take them were very helpful! Suggestions: Separate ice machine, allow for more than 2 cars parking at a time as long as not protruding into road and under building. Also, third floor had trouble keeping air conditioner at 75F during afternoon/early evening.

Enjoyed the property and proximity to the beach. Appreciated the number of bathrooms and everyone in the house was able to have their own room and bathroom. House is a bit more on the dated side, and couches need to be replaced - there were slip covers that were not shown on the pictures that make the couches uncomfortable to sit on. However, all in all a great stay and house for a group!

The house has great space for families! The pool is around the corner and the beach access is very close. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located. (30-40 minutes to most activities in and around Charleston)
Please note, you can only park 2 cars at the house! This was definitely a struggle for a family our size coming from multiple places. The gate security was great at helping us with parking concerns.

We rented Going Coastal for Labor Day weekend and it was perfect for us!
The accommodations were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to cater to our three families. Each bedroom was complete with comfortable beds and private bathrooms. Two bedrooms had twins which was perfect for the cousins. The pull out sofa in the extra living area meant everyone had his/her own bed. The fully equipped kitchen made dining a breeze and the large dining table meant lots of meals together. The layout provided for both privacy and socializing and we really enjoyed the the rooftop where you could hear the ocean waves, watch the sunset and stargaze at night.
A short 5 minute walk led us to the beach, where we spent countless hours building sandcastles, swimming, and collecting seashells. The convenience of this proximity made it effortless to return to our rental whenever we needed. The property also had a beach cart which made our walk with all our beach necessities effortless. The pool was an even shorter walk and was enjoyed each day. The house came with everything we needed (beach towels, kitchen items, coffee pot and filters, etc) to make us all feel at home.
The only thing to consider is there are three flights of stairs which would be difficult for those with mobility issues. There is an elevator but it is locked and unavailable. Luckily it wasn't an issue for anyone in our group.
This rental offers everything and management was very responsive and informative. We created lasting memories and hope to come back again!

I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! The house is in a great location, quiet, and easy to get to. The house had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all the girls to get ready and not feel crowded. We also cooked breakfast and some dinners at the house and they had mostly all the items we needed to cook. The house was homey and very comfortable for our weekend. We also used the pool one of the days and it was a short walk from the house making it super convenient. Overall, really happy with this booking and would recommend it for larger groups wanting to stay in a more low key part of South Carolina, but still a close drive to downtown Charleston!

We visited Isle of Palms with our adult children. This house has plenty of room to spread out and relax and has great wifi to support various folks online at once. All the appliances were new and the A/C worked well. The beach here is very nice (not too crowded) and is a quick walk from the house. Also loved the bike/jogging path and the rooftop deck. Would heartily recommend this property for groups with older kids or several adults.

There were just two minor things that came up such as, there was a bed that looked like it had been laid on before we got there, not enough towels for the group, and a few beach towels/blankets that had an odd smell. This property is in lovely setting in Wild Dunes. Short walk to the community pool and the ocean. The house is very spacious and well designed for large families. We cooked each evening to avoid going out, but found that the kitchen was not well appointed for serious cooking. proper description indicated there were two coffee makers, but there was only one and it was broken. Property management company was prompt with delivering a new coffee pot the following day. There are a few maintenance items that need to be addressed for the next gas. Reported those previously to ensure other guests do not experience the same problem.

This property was perfect for "home base" for Parents of the Bride.
The large living area allowed for social and eating gatherings. The homes multi-levels allowed for small children to "decompress" a bit. The multiple porches provided a beautiful backdrop for photos.
I wish the outside beach closet had some useable items. Our main goal this trip was not beach. We could not justify beach chair rentals We tried to sneak away for a few moments but chairs were unusable.
This is a great property. We would entertain a re-visit.

A beautiful home with so many amenities. Loved the fact that linens and towels invluded. Room configuration great. Some family members were couples and some singles. Beautiful view from the 3 decks where you could see an alligator, turtles, fish jumping and many varieties of birds. Would rent it again!
