Hurricane Update: All amenities, including the pools and beach access, remain closed. However, there is a beach access directly next to the complex on Plaza Blvd open and we include a photo of the proximity in the listing. Like every complex in the area, there's always a possibility of some construction-related noise although no major work is currently scheduled. This noise could come from this complex or neighboring properties. The city sustained hurricane damage in 2022 and ongoing construction continues throughout the city.
Please note the Daytona Beach Resort is undergoing concrete restoration. While there is unlikely to be noise impacting your stay, there are preemptive support beams around the resort on various balconies. You will still have a great view, but there may be a beam in the view as well. Also, out of an abundance of caution, DBR management has closed the parking garage until further notice. Off-site parking is available at an alternative location within walking distance. While this is ongoing, guests are only permitted one vehicle and will only be provided one parking pass. Recreational vehicles and trailers are not permitted on-site but we can provide guests with the contact information for an off-site parking company when requested.

Our room was a great value. We loved the good communication from the owner so we were prepared to check in. We sat on the balcony to eat and loved the view. It was a great vacation for us.

I was surprised at the property. The building the condo is in needs lots of repairs. Felt like walking into abandoned building inside lobby. Parking deck is unusable. Very limited parking in front of building. Only 2 elevators working and 1 was service elevator. Pool, decking and sea wall needs repairs and is blocked off due to instability. Condo looked like the pictures and was clean. Mattress needs replacing. Beach front is awesome view from patio but if one looks down you see the destruction around the pools. No offerings inside complex.

Unit was good. Property condition is currently lacking. Hurricane Nicole hit it pretty hard. No pools or restaurants or bars open on site. No onsite beach access but public access is just at end of the building. They are working on the building currently on higher floors. Pool decks are still very much damaged.

My family had such an amazing time! The condo was so nice and perfect for us. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and the rest of the resort was impressive as well. It was so quiet and relaxing. Thank you so much! We would definitely love to come back!

This condo was great. Perfect 5th floor location for seeing the beach but not so high up it took too long to get down via the elevator. The beds were comfortable and clean. The resort is still recovering from the hurricane but beach access is just around the corner, not far at all. The garage is closed from the hurricane but plenty of parking in the lot beside the resort is available! The restaurant was closed during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

To start: The listing was very clear that there were leftover issues from the storm last year, and this was reflected in the price. We were in town for a family emergency and needed somewhere clean and affordable to stay, so this didn’t bother us. However, there is significant leftover beach erosion and damage. They have one of the few pools for a mile that didn’t get destroyed, and we’re filling it. Also, we had a great ocean view with beautiful sunrises.
The room was mostly clean. When I walked it, it smelled and looked clean. The beds were as comfortable as any other hotel bed I’ve stayed in. The only issue in this regard was hair in the sheets. Check-out instructions ask guests to put sheets in the floor when we leave, so the most likely explanation is hair from the cleaners themselves. However, with cleanliness, perception is nearly as important as reality, so this freaked my wife out. There wasn’t a spare set in the room and the property manager wasn’t able to provide a set, but they offered to reimburse us if we bought a set. We just borrowed a set from the in-laws.
We could hear a lot of noise from the room next door. This was a hotel room with a joining door that was converted to a condo, so a lot of sound and smell travels through this door. Fortunately, our neighbors were not horrible, but YMMV.
Overall, it was great for the value and the property managers were great too. Would have been 5 stars if not for “the hair incident”

It was great! We’ve been coming there for years but this is the first time we’ve stayed using a VRBO. Everything was as listed/said. The box fan was still there and was a huge help for the mugginess. There were sand toys, body boards and extra chairs there which was nice. It was literally right off the elevator and right across from the parking garage exit (whenever they open that back up.). That was the only frustrating part because parking was horrendous. But that’s not the owners a fault… We left a few extra toys as well. I was slightly concerned since they didn’t have an extra swinging lock on the side, but we had no issues with the lock. As a matter a fact, the door instantly locked within seconds of opening it. So as long as you know the code you’re good to go! Would definitely book with them again! Thanks!

Too bad the parking garage wasn’t opened. Was quite a walk, from the car to our room although there were elevators. We survived ( ages 67-71) . Walking wasn’t a problem but carrying a lot of items made it worse! I feel bad the the person who left a few items behind ( a cell phone I phone- locked with pw, a bag and few other items- left in draw) we called that office number because the motel doesn’t take care of private units. Never got a return call for them to pick things up. Never got any messages left on my phone. We were only there for a short stay. We were in room 544 and we left the items in the room. I feel bad for the people who will probably would never get their personal things back- because I wouldn’t want it to happen to us!

The room was as described. The AC unit didn’t really circulate the air, so we bought a box fan for the unit. I hope it’s still there because it definitely needs something. The parking garage closure was an initial concern, but we only had to park in the overflow area once. Hopefully they get the garage fixed soon.

This is really a tough one. We absolutely loved this property in general. The grounds were well kept, they had great amenities, and you cannot beat being oceanfront. We were having such an amazing vacation until the entire parking garage was closed. There wasn't enough parking in the outside lot for all of the guesta/tenets, so that was a giant cluster. Our biggest concern was that the garage was closed by their engineer for structural safety issues. The garage is attached to the building! We tried getting additional info from the front desk, the manager, the property manager.... Legit everyone, as we were concerned for our safety. Especially after we saw a couple of the balconies 2 floors above us being supported by pump jacks. No one we talked to was forthcoming or seemed to have any knowledge of what was going on. Even the manager was unaware of the balconies with the pump jacks or why they were there. We were definitely concerned with the overall structure of the building, and no one could give us any sort of reassurance. Needless to say we spent the last 2 nights of our vacation worried the building would collapse on us in our sleep. Opposite of relaxing!

The room was great! Loved the full size fridge and even though we didn't have any need for the rest of the kitchen things, it seemed to be fully equipped and stocked with everything you'd need to prepare meals. The bathroom was nice and big with plenty of counter space for things and plenty of towels. Shower was great size and water pressure perfect. The beds were comfortable and the room provided additional sheets in the dresser drawers. The view from the private balcony was beautiful and there were plenty of beach items in the closet that you could use (chairs, pool & beach toys, etc.) The only couple things about the room are – although we didn't need the additional sitting/sleeping space, I could see how a pull out sofa would be more ideal to some than the two chairs that are in the room. But again – didn’t bother us any since it was just the three of us and we were hardly in the room anyway. The other thing – the only negative thing I can think of about the room – is the temperature. Coming in from a hot beach day and especially at night when I’m sleeping, I like it to be nice and cool but in this unit you were contracted to keep the unit at or above 72, so sometimes it felt kind of stuffy when you walked in, but, all the great things about the room/stay far overshadows the temperature issue though I do think it’d be worth getting a new AC unit if the coils freezing is an issue.
The building itself is great as well. 2 huge pools, an additional kids pool, an indoor pool with 2 hot tubs, a sauna, fitness center, arcade, etc. and very convenient access to beach shops, grocery stores, restaurants and more!
Finally, the management company – excellent!!!! From the moment I booked to after we left, Oceans Luxury Realty made everything so seamless. Meagan, the OLR rep that I was in contact with through text, was extremely attentive and responded almost immediately to any question I sent her via text.
All in all, I would absolutely rent this room again – or at least through OLR, as I know they have a lot of other rentals as well. Thank you so much, OLR!

Everything went extremely smooth with our stay; except for the airline mess on the way here! However, once we made it here all of that was easy to forget and we moved on with our trip. The unit is very nice; we enjoyed it very much! Very clean, well stocked, great location near garage door and elevator- balcony view is excellent. Appliances and furniture are great! Thank you!

I've stayed on this property many times and love it every time I'm here, but I don't think I'll be using this rental group again! I was traveling alone with my 2 small children so safety was my #1 concern. Unfortunately I didn't feel very safe in this room. The door only had one little hinge lock, NO deadbolt! Also the lock to the balcony was broken so my children could easily open the door. The chairs on the balcony were so tall my children could climb onto them and fall over the railing. I also had someone come to my room on my second day to clean because they were told my room would be empty. Luckily I was in the room, otherwise I'm worried what would have happend to all my stuff. I felt constantly on guard while staying in this room and it made for a tiring vacation.

The condo was just as described and was incredibly comfy for a week stay! The hotel has 2 pools, and during the Labor Day weekend we were able to enjoy a dj poolside! I highly recommend this property!

Nice room for our short vacation. Room location was perfect, but the hallway traffic and next door rooms could be heard all day and night. Along with the smell of the food they cooked. Floors could use updating too but all in all, it ended up fine with only a short stay. Both balcony chairs were not usable due to damage but the property mgr was aware already. Couldn’t be replaced during our stay though.

I loved the place! It was great waking up to the sunrise on the ocean. The only problem I had was that the air conditioner didn't work. I called and then was given another number to call and they had no idea what I was talking about. Needless to say it didn't get fixed.
