About this space
Hemmel Barn is an extremely spacious recently renovated barn, finished to a really high standard and sleeping up to four people. Located close to the hamlet of Ranby, and less than 7 miles away from the many antique shops in the picturesque town of Horncastle.
The Barn is also on the very edge of the fabulous Lincolnshire Wolds.
Situated within its own secure garden, you get a real sense of peace and tranquillity. Ideal for your next get-away from it all break.
The space
Welcome to Hemmel Barn!
Our beautiful accommodation is ideal for up to four people.
Benefiting from large windows and high beamed ceilings in every room, you have a superb outlook to the garden almost wherever you are in the property.
The large open plan living area boasts underfloor heating. Here you will find everything you need to do some home-cooking during your stay. This includes; oven, hob, toaster, microwave, and a smart filter coffee machine. Along with a dishwasher and a washer-dryer makes it ideal for longer stays.
There is a mezzanine floor which is perfect for those 'snug' moments, or perhaps if you have to, some 'Work from Home'. Featuring a sofa and some tranquility! This overlooks the open plan living space.
Along the hallway there are the 2 bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with it's own en-suite, including bath, WC, basin and shower head.
At the end of the hallway is the second bedroom. This is a generously sized twin room, also with a lovely view of the garden.
Nestled in between the bedrooms is a family shower room, with WC.
Outside you have your own private garden, with table and chairs. This is fully enclosed and safe for children.
There is also a tennis court in the grounds, which you are welcome to use when it's not in use. We do kindly ask that you provide your own rackets and balls though. [September 2024 - the court will be undergoing refurbishment and painting during September and therefore unavailable for use].

A lovely Place with extremel comfort and overall atmosphere was amazing. Great location and very dog friendly which is always a great thing. A Fantastic place and a must stay if you are looking at the Lincoln area.

We stayed for a couple of nights at Hemmel Barn and could not have wished for a more perfect property. The decor and furnishings were stylish and comfortable. The location allowed us to have that quality time away from the hustle and bustle to recharge with the dog (who loved the walks surrounding the property).

Barn is beautiful, very clean and homely. Area is lovely too plenty of places to visit. Owner was excellent communicator and we had a great time and we will be back again
