About this house rental
The historic Jenness House is situated in the heart of Glenwood Springs offering quick walking access to many of the area’s featured attractions. The famous Hot Springs Pool, the historic Hotel Colorado and the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park are all located in North Glenwood just two blocks from the Jenness House. The Colorado River pedestrian bridge is one block away from the house and offers access to Glenwood’s downtown shops and restaurants.
In its central location the Jenness House provides close and easy access to the area’s abundant year-round outdoor activities. You can ride from the steps of this North Glenwood Victorian to the start of the scenic Glenwood Canyon bike path or connect to the Rio Grande Trail, which travels the length of the Roaring Fork Valley from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. The Jenness House is a 5 minute walk away from the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. Abundant rafting and fishing opportunities are literally minutes away. In addition, the close proximity of Interstate 70 and Highway 82 provide quick driving access to multiple world class golf courses and ski areas located between Aspen and Vail. And, if you can’t pack all of your gear or need some expertise, there are several rental companies located near the Jenness House that provide guides and equipment for biking, skiing, rafting, and fishing.
Wherever the day may take you, the comforts of home await your return. The Jenness House is a remodeled and newly furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath Victorian with an open floor plan and expansive living area. The 10 foot ceilings and bay windows fill each room with natural beauty and light, while top down bottom up shades provide privacy. Two quaint and cozy enclosed porches bookend the living space and offer a unique environment to relax and enjoy the views.
The kitchen and dining room are set and ready to entertain. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances, cookware and dinnerware. You will have no issues creating your culinary masterpiece while others relax and enjoy the views from the high top breakfast table. The dining room offers an elegant atmosphere to enjoy your meal at a table that seats eight.
When you are ready to relax gather around the gas fireplace and kick back in one of the cozy pieces of furniture the living room has to offer. Enjoy DVD’s and On-Demand cable on the flat screen television above the fireplace, or relax with a book or board game from the library.
At the end of the day retire to one of the two bedrooms, both of which are furnished with comfortable queen sized beds. The mattresses, pillows and linens are new and feature a timeless touch. These warm and inviting rooms come with closets, dressers, luggage racks, hall trees and bathrobes. If additional sleeping space is required the living room sofa pulls out as a queen sleeper with lay flat memory foam mattress for extra comfort.
A modern bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. The bathroom is reminiscent of the era in which the house was built. The classic design from that period can be seen in the black and white tiled walk in shower and solid surface Corian countertop. The shower has an adjustable, removable wand, built in bench, and complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner. Luxurious towels, blow dryer and magnifying mirror are provide. The laundry room is equipped with a front load washer and dryer.
The Jenness House sits on three city lots providing ample space for relaxing outside. The front of the house is landscaped with flower beds and provides two off street parking spaces. The beautiful side yard is fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. At the back of the fenced yard is a concrete patio with a gas Weber grill and patio furniture for dining outside.

We had an awesome stay at this lovely home. Spotless, comfortable and truly in walking distance to everything we wanted to do—even for our 4 year old! Literally a 5 minute walk from the Glenwood hot springs pool. On a residential and quiet street. Plenty of space to spread out for our large family. The front garden and backyard spaces were an absolute delight and beautifully maintained! The shower water pressure was absolutely amazing!!! A perfectly refreshing experience. We will stay again on our next trip to Glenwood Springs!

Everything was just as described, clean and comfortable. We didn’t expect that we’d be able to walk everywhere we needed to go- that was a bonus. We especially enjoyed the lovely back yard. We barbecued on the gas grill provided and ate on the outdoor patio. My son ran through the sprinklers. It was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was very close to the springs, that we walked to it and our host gave us a day pass for each of us. Even one for a guest that was coming to visit us. The home was equipped with everything you could need. Immaculate home with a back yard to match. This is one we will be going back to.

We stayed here two years ago and loved it. The place hasn't changed a bit. Appliances and cookware are all modern and in good repair. Everything is clean, seriously clean. Our kids again enjoyed the books and games provided in the house. Short walk to the pool and restaurants and shops. Grocery store is a short drive away. Skiing just 25 minutes away. I predict we'll be back next March.

We love this house! It is very clean and has great accommodations. The property manager is easy to communicate with as well. We love how it’s within walking distance to the pool. We have been going to Glenwood Springs for over 30 years and this home is by far the best one to stay at!

It was a very cozy house with the fireplace and all amenities needed. I wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the back porch and backyard.

We were in Glenwood Springs for a wedding, but because we were traveling with a baby didn't want to stay at a hotel. This house was the perfect location -- just a couple of blocks from the Hotel Colorado, where the wedding party was staying, but in a quiet residential area. The house is very cute and thoughtfully furnished with antiques (as well as very comfy beds and sofas!). Kitchen was well-equipped. The only problem we had was finding a place to hang our wedding clothes -- the downside to a historic house is no closets!

Very nice home! Great location, short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Less than a mile to Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Would suggest bringing your own coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, and Kleenex as these are minimally provided. Overall a great find and we’d come back!

The property is well appointed and decorated. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking including 2 coffee machines. Bath also includes all the necessities. Beds are comfortable with loads of pillows and blankets. The manager met us upon checkin and was available if needed.
And, best of all, the location is awesome; right in the heart of Glenwood Springs within walking distance of great restaurants and many activities.

This property was one of the best we have ever stayed at. Many amenities but also details were well thought out - think an umbrella at the front door!
The location is within walking distance to downtown via the pedestrian bridge and the historic hotel and spas and just blocks away.
We only used our car during our 3-day stay.
Terrific property if it meets your overall needs.
We would stay here again.

We did a weekend stay here and kids loved it (so did the parents). The location was AMAZING close and convenient to everything. Great backyard and waking distance to pool and entertainment. Hoping to make this stop a tradition every year.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, and are hoping to stay here again next year! The location was awesome, and the house had just enough room for my family. Also, we loved being able to walk to night swim at the Hot Springs. This house is adorable and has a lot of charm.

Just a beautiful historic home. Walk to the Hot Springs, walk across the bridge, walk to Tequilas for dinner. Lots of bedding, towels for the hot springs. Clean, comfortable. Don't waste your money on hotels. Stay here!

This property was perfect for our family of 5 when we visited Glenwood Springs! I would definitely book here again. The location is superb, as you are only a few minutes walk from all of the major attractions, such as the Hot Springs, amusement park, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, and bike trails. The beds were nice, everything was very clean, and the kitchen had all the essentials for preparing meals. We even used the grill one day and sat out on the patio, overlooking the nicely landscaped yard. Glenwood Springs is such a cool town and the people here are friendly.

This was one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in and it had quality products (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). The home was clean and larger than we expected. The location is excellent, a few blocks to the hot springs, and 5ish minute walk across the pedestrian bridge to downtown, yet in a quiet well maintained neighborhood.
The weather was pretty warm the week we stayed. The main living spaces and back bedroom were pretty cool (they did have AC units), but the middle bedroom was a bit warm.
Nathan was a great host and we would definitely recommend this home to others.

Sweet, well kept home brimming with antiques. It was a lovely stay for senior parents. The host was pleasant and informative. Great proximity to shops and dining.

This home was the perfect choice for us. Beautifully maintained, big rooms, well stocked kitchen with all needed supplies, plenty of room for us 2 and several more guests if needed, manicured back yard for our use, 2 decks/sunrooms for lounging, near to all the features and landmarks of Glenwood Springs. Can walk to Hot Springs and downtown area. No issues with tech or utilities. Our host Nathan was great...responsive to questions and helpful with advice about Glenwood sights and activities. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful inside and out, spacious, comfortable. It's very well located, in a quiet neighborhood but one convenient to pools, downtown, and free public transportation. Nathan and Ashley couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. We will certainly book it again next time we're in Glenwood!

This house was just perfect. There is plenty of room for a family of four to have their own space.
The location is wonderful and the homeowner was very nice.
I loved having the convenience of a washer and dryer.
The selection of books, movies and games were fun to look through.
We hope to stay here again!
