The resort is amazing, perfect position for snorkeling and diving with incredible views. Very quiet and relaxing. We really loved our stay and would definitely go back, highly recommend.
The room price was a bit high but for the tranquility of the area, it was still a wonderful stay.

The location of the restaurant where the the brekfast and dinner is served was great! Loved to have dinner there.
The location is great if what you look for is diving, as is a few minutes by boat front the Japanese boats, which gurantee (at least in my case) to have the boats just for you and not find other dive groups which come from Coron.
The area in general is gorgeous, just the boat ride from Coron to the hotel is a pleasure.
The dive center and dive master were great as well, only think I missed, as we are speaking about a resort, is to have some more snacks or drinks into the boat.
There were no water in our room during whole first day and all the mornings, as fas as I understood, due to the lack of rains in the last weeks.
The hotel is great if you are a diver, but if you are not, as the case of my partner, there is no much to do, as the beach is not great for swimming.

The dive resort is in a beautiful location with stunning views and the dives I did were extremely interesting with the option of reef dives teaming with life or Japanese Ships from WW2. The resort is full of lush green bush and the reef is protected around the resort which makes excellent diving and snorkeling.
My room was lovely and comfortable with an amazing view. The restaurant offered delicious food and the buffet meals in the evening had so much variety and cooked to a high standard.
It was easy and reasonable to arrange a boat to the island through the resort.
Nothing. Excellent place.

Location was stunning. And perfect for all the dive spots close by. The staff were super friendly and made the effort to ensure we had a great holiday.
We stayed 2 nights, but would have loved to be there for an extra night or two to be able to do more dives and more exploring of the area.

The location is ideal for wreck diving. The resort is nestled in a cove overlooking a beautiful bay. Dive operation is professional and the dive master, Naome is lovely. The staff are halpful and the food was very good.
If you are dependent on wifi, the rooms don't have it. But you can go the the bar or dining area for connectivity. Also, electric power is available from 5 pm to 7am only.

The fact that it is secluded and our daily rhythm.
The staff is just amazingly nice.
nothing really. Just don’t go there if you need a real social night life.

Beautiful environment
Nice diving spot
The room was barely cleaned.
During the three-day stay, there was no water for two days because the upstream pond was blocked.
Couldn't sleep because the nearby village was too noisy.
Extra fee for the transportation.
Also, I feel like the owner doesn't want to run the resort anymore🤣

the house reef is just amazing. you can kayak to a tiny nearby island and kayak for 100s of meters in many direction, huge beautiful corals and it feels as if you are swimming in a fish tank.on the resort there are also some large lizards which are a must see.
they have a dedicated scuba diving centre with 2 instructors. Noemi was extremely attentive and great with us on our reef dives. the reefs and different ship wracks are all around you in a short boat ride away.
the owner is a lovely guy and really hands on and the support staff are all extremely friendly and dinners and breakfasts are super tasty and healthy.. ;) can’t recommend this resort enough! you must experience it!

What a beautiful place. Nature pure and no stress. The housereef is verry nice with a lot of corals and fish. This is a perfect place for relaxing and to forget aour stressful work at home. Perfekt. We will come back.
At the beginning the cold shower but we understand, that to protect the nature, we need not all luxes like at home. The luxus on this island is the beauiful place where you forgot the time.

the workers were hospitable and friendly.
far from the tours, the room was hot and the air conditioner wasn’t working, and the owner was so rude!
3.5 / 5.0
The location is excellent as you will be close to most the dive sites and if you are a diver. Of course, you would not spend a night there if you are not a diver! The dinner was awesome as it had salad, chicken, rice and other stuff. The owners were super friendly and helpful.
The power runs from 4pm until 7am not 5pm - 7am and again from 12 noon until 2 pm as per fine print underneath the booking. Again, if you are a diver, you will probably stay most of the time outside so should be fine.
The room is basic without hot water and the room had a distinct smell including the towels & bed sheets we have had. There were quite a bit of fire ants along the way to our room so we really had to mind our steps not to step on them.
Understandably, some of the food on the menu were not available as it was only us who were staying in the resort. I reckon it would have been a different experience if there were groups of people staying in the resort.
Internet both the wifi and the 5G/LTE is limited if you need to be connected while staying in the resort.

Filipino staff were helpful and kind.
The owner, who is Danish, said he hates the Philippines and treated his Filipino staff without respect, even though he married to a Filipina and has made his home there.
1.0 / 5.0
the Filipino staff were very polite and the island was close to dive sites!
The Danish owner was extremely rude and disrespectful to staff and guests. He openly degrades and shouts at his female Filipino workers in front of guests (I had to sit awkwardly I front of it happening for 10 minutes) but also openly speaks badly about guests whilst they are in hearing distance. Ironically he spends most of his time reminding everyone of his saviour complex and how his staff basically owe him because he didn’t fire them during the pandemic.
I personally felt bullied when the owner decided to throw at me whilst in normal conversation that he wanted me to change rooms because he wanted to prioritise a new guest coming instead. I realised that he had t asked anyone else to move rooms, even though we spoke with another guest who was just one person and leaving the same day who would of been happy to move. When I told him we didn’t want to move rooms he complained and turned around and walked off mid conversation, then 2 hours later as my boyfriend was having a nap he sent his workers up to tell us to move rooms anyway. after refusing because we had already paid an expensive rate for what we were already getting I came downstairs a few hours later and he said “I had to move from my own room so you owe me a beer” and wanted me to feel sorry for him. Extremely misogynistic.
We dared ask about a charge on our bill as checking out and the Filipino female worker went round the corner to check it with him and we could clearly hear him shouting and talking badly about us. To top it off we were told at the last moment we couldn’t pay by American Express even though we checked 3 times that we could use this card and it was the reason we bought one nitrox course. His response was not even close to apologetic and didn’t care at the least.

The place is strategically located around diving spots. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. The resort had a dog which is very gentle.
The place is not well maintained. It needs some updating.

Chindonan Dive Resort is a peaceful and quiet island-paradise resort. It is the best place to relax and be away from everything, and at the same time explore different kinds of water adventure. 😊
Staff, managers, and owner are all very friendly and accommodating. 😘
Room is very clean, well-kept, spacious and very relaxing.🙂
Food is served hot, fresh, and delicious for both breakfast and dinner...you can request food other than what is offered in the menu, as long as the ingredients are available. 😋
Diving instructor is very helpful, friendly, and professional...you feel safe diving with him. 😊

A perfect island for relaxation and underwater exploration, apart of crowds, at the same time close to Coron island and all underwater amazing sites. Very clean, perfect fresh water, amazing coral gardens around. Very professional and friendly staff. Eco-minded
I'd prefer more fruits included in menu

The place was amazing. People were also super friendly and the location couldn’t be better. Do not hesitate in going if you are looking for a diving resort. 10 min boat trip to the wrecks and reefs

Quite, nice food, great view from the room terrace. Good activities for non-divers (snorkel, kayaks or SUPs). Nearby coral garden was really great with lots of fishes (even turtles). House reef or the reefs that can be reached in minutes with kayaks are very nice as well. We had our first try at diving which was amazing. The staff was really helpful and nice.
