For the price we paid it was fair.

It is very close to the airport (the airplanes land and depart until 11pm and it is quite noisy) and the beach is 2 minutes away, not a nice beach but very good for families with children. You have two balconies each with a drying rack. The apartment was clean.

The pictures on the website are deceptive when we first arrived I was a bit taken aback, the apt is very small, the kitchen as well. The mattresses were horrible and the pillows too, the only good thing I can say about the beds is that they were clean, bed sheets too. Towel change is once every 3 days and they didn’t like when I requested more before towel change day.

I would like to share with you my experience at Sunset Beach Appartments. We stayed in the family room with the sea view. Cleanliness was spot on. Everything working as it should. Besides the overall great experience I would like to mention Fotis who manages the apartments. Fotis was very kind and met us late in the night. He gave us recommendations on the places to visit and to eat. Fotis is a great host and a man with a big heart! I am sure you will not be disappointed with your future stay at Sunset Beach Appartments.

Fabulous Host, clean and comfortable - simply Greece.

The apartment was well equipped, clean, with great air-conditioning. maid service was often through the stay with fresh towels and Bedding.

I didn’t like the smoking outside of the rooms by other guests.

Fotis was very friendly and helpful. Beach literally on your doorstep. The proximity of the airstrip was not a problem at all. Overall very quiet.

Just a little isolated. You need a car if you like to explore the island.

Short stay in sunset beach apartments.

First of all thank you Fotis! Amazing host, we had a problem with our cooker first night. Next day cooker was replaced. Answered all of our questions and advised on how to get around kefalonia. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days, so no concerns with cleansiness. We were lucky as were able to stay a little longer in the apartment on our last day as host had no one booked in. (This is not included in the apartment booking, checkout by 11am usually) If you are visiting sunset beach apartments make sure to visit dragostolli snack pool bar. 3 minute walk, amazing food and free to use pool.

Location is lovely has a beach but is an issue to get out towards bus route. (only applies if you are not driving). As neither my partner nor I drive it was a long walk uphill to get to nearest bus stop. As well as you can hear airplanes in the background land and fly off. However this is the only concern if you drive and a little noise does not bother you at night this is perfect place to stay at.

Good value for money Each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom 2 mins walk to the beach Cleaners came twice during our 9 days stay Well equipped kitchenette, clothes dryer, air conditioner Spacious rooms Host gave us nice recommendations

I could hear some noise sometimes from the neighbours The mattress was a bit tired No lounge but table and chairs outside were nice

i loved the place. Fotis was incredibly helpful with everything. seaside is just few meters away. there are no markets around , but Fotis accompanied me by his car. also you have a super cute restaurant nearby (pool bar snack ) and they have very delicious food and good prices. also , place is super clean, I was actually impressed! seaside is also very beautiful, you pay 7 euro for umbrella and 2 beds(entire day) or there is also free beach. they have also a bar, food is really delicious and everyone I met, they are super friendly and polite. i just love Greece and thank you Fotis again! this place is ideal if you want some quiet, peace and to really relax.

We arrived 2 day late Ferry problems+ Strike. The owner gave me accommodation for 2 days plus- even though I was late. Thank you! Location close to Lassi , Argostoli .Many beaches nearby. Quiet, very pleasant, lots of space(Fruit trees, the apricots were good), Large parking, Large balconies, both with glass table and chairs- lovely and new.In the kitchen there was also sponge and dishwashing detergent. Two bathrooms. Comfortable mattresses.

Away from it all, cheap and cheerful

Quiet location (apart from the occasional landing or take off as quite near the airport). Apartment was basic but clean and tidy with linen and bed change twice in one week. Quite a long walk to main road so would recommend hiring a car.

Hidden Gem

Fourtis was an amazing host. He was flexible with the check in times as we arrived quite late in the evening. He gave us some excellent advice on the local area. He also helped us arrange a hire car which was invaluable. The apartment itself was clean and had everything you could need. The location is the real kicker! No more then a 1 minute walk to an incredible sandy beach with some of the clearest water I’ve seen. A great place and a great host. Will definitely be coming back there

Relax next to the beach

Location. We were looking for relax, calm and next to beach and it is exactly what we got. You need the car for supermarket, restaurants or drinks but it only takes 2 min walking to the beach. The apartment has patio or terrace and it is very nice enjoy the breakfast or dinner on it. Fotis is a good host and he gave us indications about nice places to eat. Pool bar next to the apartment. There is a bar at the beach where you can enjoy the sunset.

The kitchen should have more cookware and if the apartment is for 4 people it should have plates, cutlery and glasses for everybody. The shower hasn't got shower plate is on the floor and it has a courtain but it swamps the whole bathroom's floor. Next to the airport and sometimes noisy but don't disturb as we thought at the beginning, but good to know before the arrival.
