I've been coming here for a year or so now. But the last two times. I've been bothered by two individuals from the streets or staying on the property asking to use my mobile phone (even after I said go inside) or asking for cig's. And now people be having yelling mixes outside and banging on doors. I'm not saying this is a constant thing. Just when I've been there. But you want to have peace when you stay anywhere.

I gave two stars because the employ Alan always showed concern for our well being, but other than that was scary. The first two rooms that he showed to us had just one part of the door latch. Both looked that there were detach by force. The third room had small cockroaches. That was enough for us to leave. The area is not walking friendly.

Terrible hotel. Filthy and in terrible condition. Amenities listed are not available. People not staying in hotel loitering in parking lot. Constant pot smell and not safe for families. Would never stay there again.

I lost money on this one.. I checked in and 3 mins later I checked out.This facility shouldn't even carry the name "LaQuinta Inn by Wyndham" the rooms were not even close to the quality of the name. Turn around and run away. Room smelled like mold, I turned on the sink to wash my hands and the water was spitting out of the sink, there was ALOT of air in the water line. Walls covered with several renters dirty hand prints. Too much traffic and commotion going on outside.

I did not have high expectations for this stay however it was worse than I had anticipated. Room was in very rough shape, beds hard and smelled musty. The cockroach on my luggage was the ultimate! It was small so that means there are more.

Driving around the property we witnessed questionable activity and lots of loiterers. We gave the place the benefit of the doubt and checked in and went to a room that wasn’t cleaned. The lights didn’t turn on and when we figured out which light worked in the room, (which was the bathroom light) roaches scattered. There was a shoe print on bed one and the other bed wasn’t even made. I went back to the front desk and advised them of what was discovered. The front desk clerk offered another room but I was already turned off by the aesthetics, so I declined. He told me he couldn’t give me a refund to contact the third party I booked through. Ok fine, I went to my car because there were roaches crawling throughout the lobby and one on the entrance door and I didn’t want any of them to get in my things. While on the phone with customer service the same front desk clerk called me and told me he went to the room and didn’t see what I was talking about basically calling me a liar and hung up on me. I don’t recommend this property because the pictures are deceptive and the customer service is really bad.

Amazing place. You’re a fool if you don’t stay here when in Tallahassee. Service - above and beyond. Clear A+ well deserved rating. If I could live there - I would!!! I have stayed in many places and this place puts them to Shame. Shame!! This place is what this industry inspires to one day be. A must to stay at!!

The hotel operator rents rooms to drug dealers and prostitutes. Lots of seedy late night activity. A stressed out druggy caused a scene at the breakfast.

The first room we were given had bugs in it that did bite. When I attempted to call the front office the phone did not have a cord to plug into the outlet. The second room, housekeeping picked up the dirty towels the following morning but did not replace them nor did they empty the trash. It was not worth the amount charged for the stay. I will not stay there again.

I made a reservation for 2 rooms that could accommodate 8 people. When my wife got there she was told that the reservation was for 1 room and they were full; 10 minutes later she was told they had a room but for $147. Was this a scam? I don’t know, but we didn’t have any other option but to pay their price. This is a rundown property with very poor maintenance. But when you are running from a hurricane like everyone else you have very little choice. This is a place I will never stay here again.

The worst Laquita I’ve stayed at. Very dirty. My husband washed the air conditioner filter in bath tub. They were filthy. Lots of mold on walls. Had to have someone get TV working. We wouldn’t eat the breakfast.(who knows what that looked like). The whole place needs redone. Not eco friendly because the toilet a 3.4 gallon and tub faucet leaked a steady stream.

Worst hotel ever! Dont waste your money. I just stayed one night on my way, Is not even cheap so I would have thought it would be decent. Roaches, super filthy! I couldnt even shower, bc of mold. I asked the front desk guy for a refund so I could get a decent hotel and he said he could get me a clean room? so he knew it was dirty, how terrible service. He never gave me a clean room btw so I drove as fast as I could next morning. Worst of the worst.

Went to the assigned room , couldn’t get in the door was jam shut , front desk pop it open , and then we come in the that smelled odd and find empty packages of rubbers on the floor between the bed and wall , went back to the front desk requesting a different room , felt that if the room had Trojan packages on the floor the bed was probably dirty also

Do not under any condition choose this hotel. It was unbelievably dirty. I slept on top of the bed on my own blanket and would not shower there. The floor in the bathroom looked like it was mopped with a dirty mop and there were dirty smudges on shower wall. Hair of some sort was on the floor. When I checked the mattress, it was dirty and stained. I was very uncomfortable there. I have sent pictures to you as well as the Inn. If you need them again, I will send them. I would LOVE to have my $78.00 in points back, or a full refund!!!!

We should have known it was going to be a nightmare when check in took half an hour because for some reason there was only one person on the front desk at peak time . It got worse from there. Parking near your room is almost impossible. The whole site is falling apart. There were blood stains on the duvet and the carpet. The "spare" toilet roll had someone else's urine stains and mould on it and had been rewrapped by housekeeping for the next people to use. Went to the desk for a new toilet roll and was told that it wasn't their job. I asked them to contact the person who would be able to bring one toilet roll and they just stared at me. Needless to say we didn't get any toilet roll and had to improvise. Both nights we had people drinking, smoking and being loud outside our room but the same guy on the front desk refused to help. Overall a nightmare stay in a place that should be shut down over health violations.

You should not trap people into using this 3rd world hotel. Should be shut down by the city. You will never see anything like this hotel. Smells like mold paint peeling, holes in walls plastered over but n o paint. Woke up to walls seeping water floors soaking wet. Had to leave and caused a huge inconvenience. I will NEVER use Hotel.com again with hotels like this one on your site.

I was hesitant because it is an older property, but to my surprise it was clean. I stayed for the hurricane and we did not lose power, in comparison to some more expensive hotels.The staff was nice and they had breakfast.

Dead roaches, no hot water in morning to shower, gap between door and door frame so you could see light. Deadbolt didn't work but the hinge lock at the top did work. I shouldn't have left but I prepaid and knew I couldn't get a refund.

Worst place ever avoid at all cost. Bathroom dirty and no hot water. Spoke with staff and they did care. They didn’t even try to make things up in anyway. They have high deposit fee for the class of place. I have stayed at other la Quinta hotels and there were pleasant but this do your self a favor and avoid!!

The first room they gave us was smelly and the bed sheets were full of dog hair. The second room was a bit better but still had a mold smell and the smoke -Fire detector was missing from the wall-unsafe condition. To date we have done two Wyndham hotels and they have not been clean and always smelly. Lastly, the room had a dead roach behind the front door. Never again.

This property seems as if you’re going to get kidnapped or sex trafficked . It’s scary at night time , the rooms are everything you are reading literally. I didn’t understand how the sheets were white but the floor wasn’t swept at all. There was dirt caked up in the corners of the bathroom and toe nail clippings and dead insects and bugs in plain sight and a razor on the toilet when I checked in. And this was a just serviced room . The staff is super friendly and nice . They switched my room to what was considered better but it was a better version of the same . I didnt even stay the entire time, I didn’t feel safe .It seems like people live there also. In any event if you need somewhere to sleep and there is no other option this is it . You won’t be spending alot of time in the room hopefully unless you come with a broom,mop,Lysol and cleaning supplies . Hope this helps someone .

This hotel is old and in significant need of renovation. Our room need paint and cleaning up caulk around tub. Also found a roach in our room. To top it off, they had no hot water.
