The room was musty and outdated definitely wouldn’t recommend staying there!

The original hotel had plumbing issues, so we were sent to another hotel. The check in at the new hotel was seamless and thr lady at the desk was super friendly.
5.0
Nice clean rooms, staff was friendly.
3.0
Odd odor, not much of amenities. Beds seemed clean and were comfortable. Not a bad place just to hang your hat overnight. The biggest irritation was that people parked in front of our door which affected ease of loading and unloading. Perhaps designate the parking spots with room numbers.
3.0
The heating unit was not working properly. And we stayed in the two story part of the property and it got quite noisy at times.
2.0
It was convenient to be located at the foot of the mackinaw bridge so we could attend the annual Labor Day walk, but the room itself was uncomfortable, old, and smelly
3.0
The location of the hotel was good. The room we got was dirty. Black stains on carpet and was never vacuumed. Dirty towels on the bathroom floor. Ceiling tiles pulled up with water spots, like the carpenters didn't complete the job.Asked for clean towels, the cleaning help don't clean until we leave. They never cleaned when the previous people left. Had to go get clean towels when we saw the cleaning people outside. No soap. No kleenex. The only good thing was the mattress was nice but the room smelled old and musty. I guess you get what you pay for.
4.0
Excellent location reasonably priced for the Bridge Walk. Rooms do not have hairdryers nor does the front desk. Breakfast /coffee not refilled.
2.0
Sink was clogged. Toilet handle went in circles. More rust than chrome on the toilet paper holder. Shower stained and moldy. Entire bathroom smaller than those found on cruise ships. HVAC unit was ineffective. I did not expect elegance from a budget motel, but this did not meet minimum expectations. I would not recommend.

The rooms need to be updated. But are clean, the rooms are small and the bathroom door wouldn't close. Great location

It’s so quiet and beautiful place

They mention a breakfast, what they had is a mostly used jar of peanut butter, a small table in the office with two chairs, some old jelly, cream cheese that everyone was expected to use out of the same container...very disappointing.
3.0
Awkward set up of room too much furniture not many outlets broken lamp shade. Toilet is very low to the ground
Have to run the hot water for ever before it gets hot.Poor choice of tv channels

I have stayed at this hotel before and I have enjoyed doing so. It appears as though there is someone new managing the hotel this year. They are friendly, helpful, and do a nice job. The room I was in was a little small, which I wouldn't mind, but it felt a little crowded. The room was clean and the area was quiet. It is close to the bridge and downtown.

I like everything in this city and island and all how's living or working in

Our stay was sufficient. Our room was dated and could use some deep cleaning. Example: the bathroom fan was very dirty. If you’re looking for a 5-star stay, this is not the place for you. However, for our budget, this place served its purpose. We were comfortable enough.

Breakfast was very very basic.
Room was grungy, old, and wornout.
Although we stayed two nights, we spent little time at the motel (fortunately).

The location was amazing.

Just an average hotel, did what we needed it to do.

just outdated. not terrible, good stop for our trip

The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were full of mold which I'm didn't see the night I checked in. I'm still dealing with the after affects of that. The shower tiles also had mold in them. It was quite shocking when I opened the shower curtain in the morning. I complained at check out and they didn't even apologize or say they would correct it

Older property, needs updated. Frustrating that breakfast is only available 8-10, we wanted to get on the road earlier.

Property is old. Grout in bathroom dirty, no door handle on bathroom and duct tape over latch. Tv very small and poor quality. Bed very low to ground. Ok if price was $50, but not $110

They advertise Wifi, but the Wifi was really weak.
4.0
Breakfeast really the minimum. Should have more choice.
4.0
Not worth the money. Rooms were dirty. Only positive is the close proximity to the Mackinaw Bridge
6.0
Older property; needs upgrades

Close to the attractions, bust area but had free parking. Decent breakfast offered. Needed some repairs/updates but overall good for the price

The property shows lots of deferred maintenance. The room needs deeper cleaning. There were cobwebs, the tub was in bad shape & the bathroom ceiling fan needs a good vacuuming (see picture). Curtains were riddled with bare spots. For the price, I expected more. It was a bed. I don't recommend.

We were there for 3 days, I thought they might have come in one day and got the garbage, checked towels and stuff but never did. There was a dumpster outside our room we dumped our own garbage out each day when we got back from are adventures.

The young man who waited on us when we checked in was really nice/kind.

Immediately when we entered the room, we knew we made a mistake! Wallpaper was coming off the walls, knats flying around, lamp shade was disgustingly stained right beside the bed, all around felt dirty and gross! Manager on site wouldn't return our money because we booked through a third party, and haven't had any luck with a return from hotels.com. BEWARE, STAY AWAY!

Very clean and organized. Great stay

We walked into the room and right away a terrible smell. The carpet by the bathroom was soaking wet. The ceiling tiles above the shower were wet and had black mold all over them. By fat the most disgusting hotel i ever stayed at.
8.0
I really like the way the rooms were set up. The only thing that I would suggest is put a microwave in the rooms

I felt like I was getting ripped off when I was getting charged $60.00 dollars for my pet

Property was older but had everything we needed. Restaurant next door was convenient and bed was comfortable. Beautiful town, well worth stopping in.
6.0
Old fashioned and not updated much in past few decades, but comfy enough.
4.0
It is old and quirky.
