Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good for going other places
3.6
Dirt, needs update, outside hotel door does not lock
3.6
Lighting was limited. No facial tissues. Bed was comfortable. Very expensive for the mediocre facilities. Parking lot in bad shape. Breakfast was okay, not great. Don’t plan on staying there again.
3.6
Run down - shower would not work - sink would not drain - bath fan real loud
3.6
Bade road contiguous. Disappointing breakfast options. Could not get shower to work.small bathroom
3.6
The room was so dirty and there were pube like hairs all in the bed, It looked like someone kicked in the door, it smelt musty and it was scary, would never stay here again
3.6
Basic economy lodgings in suburban Duluth. Check-in process was friendly & efficient. Room was comfortable enough. There's an indoor pool we didn't use. Microwave and mini fridge in room were clean, good. Beds were comfortable. Area around building was treacherous due to construction work on parking lot. Wifi was OK.
3.6
the exterior area parking lot and landscaping was dismal, in need of some professional landscaping, it made the motel look ghettoish. Inside the room, once the window was open and aired out it wasn't bad. The best thing the motel has going for itself is the Staff they were very helpful, courteous and polite, willing to go the extra mile for you. The other good thing is the Maya restaurant is right next door which makes it convenient for dining.

My wife and I could not stay because the room was dirty and had Oder. The lodge entrance and the check in lobby including their pool and spa was under construction. The hotel staff refused to cancel our room reservation and refund our deposit.
3.6
Our main light didnt work in our room and there is black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom
3.6
Place was fine but this is a basic hotel.
3.6
Service was good. I believe they were were doing a little remodeling. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didnt smell like cigarette smoke. Staff was courteous.
3.6
Clean,Comortable,Courteous staff,Ok breakfast.A pleasant stay.

The staff was very friendly and the area was nice. There was a Sam's Club and places to eat within walking distance. The toilet kept running after it was flushed until I fixed it. The toilet seat was very loose. The breakfast was marginal at best and they ran out of many things 45 minutes before it ended.

Older but good service.

Bathroom dirty
Parking lot a mess

My husband had a medical emergency at the airport and could not make the reservation. I know the booking was non refundable. However, I left a message for the hotel and I never received a response from them. Very poor customer service. Will never use them again even if there was not a stay. I dont care for insensitivity.

Shower didn't work. Hottub kept dripping
3.6
The TV, and the A/C in our room didn't work. The desk clerk attempted to get the TV working but was unsuccessful. The A/C filter was filthy, and as an HVAC Tech, I cleaned it and the coil, but it never really worked well, and needs to be fully serviced. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, so neither issue was a deal breaker, merely an inconvenience. All of the staff we dealt with were polite and very helpful.
3.6
Felt very uncomfortable and did not stay, asked for refund
3.6
The check in was easy, desk clerk was friendly.

The staff was great. Our rooms however were not the greatest. We could feel the springs in the matresses. The flooring by the window mustve gotten wet in the past and coming apart. Bathroom floor tiles weren't very clean, especially in the corners. I could see the dirt and dust. Most likely will never stay there again.

Young skinny man with beard was very helpful. He was there all 3 days we were there. Third time going down for tv. One gentleman at desk said it's satellite. Not my problem. I pay to watch TV at night if I can't sleep. Hot tub didn't work. Beds were good . Housekeeper was nice we managed to communicate there google tranlate.

Hotel was terrible . Didn’t like it the water or the power wasn’t working . I went without water for 3 days and guess what i was on my period . I felt so disgusting and so sorry for the past 3 days they didn’t accommodate us . The workers was outside every 10 mins smoking cigarettes it was time when i needed them and had to wait just because they all grouped up smoking and cursing . Can I please get my entire refund with the hotel? This was the worst . They didn’t provide room service until the second to last day of this trip. I came from Chicago and this was by far the worst experience ever . I’m so unhappy and so disappointed in this . I had to spend a lot of money to get gallons of water to wash up and flush the toilet. Imagine being a girl on their period and can’t take a shower right away it because of the water not working . Then they have construction on the parking and we couldn’t park for days so we had to ask the front desk to accommodate us and they told us to basically figure it out . So we had to park at an illegal spot and hope we didn’t get towed . I paid a lot of money and this was by far the worst trip ever . I’ll just rather get my whole refund than to deal with this crap.

The staff was nice. Outside surroundings area was dirt. Almost didnt go in.

A pipe had broken and water pressure was nothing. Toilets / showers did not work. We were booked for 4 nights. For the 1st 24 hours, people were told the pipe was being fixed. We could clearly NOT see any utility vehicles. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the City of Duluth. They did offer free water. They completed refunded the nights we had not yet stayed and partially refunded the night that we did stay … it should’ve been a full refund. We weren’t really that aware of how awful it was until we found a new hotel, for just a little more money for night that actually turned out to be amazing in comparison. I don’t think we will stay at Econo Lodge again. This is our 2nd bad experience with them and now we know we can easily do better.
3.6
Breakfast was minimal and not refilled after a large number were fed. Cereal was out and don’t care for waffles. Only a few sweet rolls, out of toast! And milk.
3.6
My stay was overall good.
There was a water issue but they said city is responsible for solving it so there wasn’t much they could do. Otherwise, the room was nice and clean. It had microwave and fridge.

Needs to be upgraded

No water

Property had very spotty water pressure , toilet wouldn't flush and shower was a trickle
3.6
not bad

None of the plumbing worked because of a water main issue. Nor did the hot tub. The coffee had not been replenished in the room when we checked in. The AC in our room was not functional.
3.6
We got to the property at 2am after driving for 16 hours only to be asked if we "had been made awate of the water situation ". We had not been told that the water main was broken and they were coming to fix it at 7am. Staff was not helpful and told us we would have to call expedia and that thrre was no manager available until 8am

I am a senior. The room was equipped with plenty of hand rails in the bathroom. It had a good amount of space. Dog friendly. I would recommend
3.6
Good lighting in the rooms. Property weeds over grown ,parking lot very rough tvs were small ,difficult to figure out how to use the shower hot tub not available
3.6
Noisy, people thumping upstairs at night, very disappointed in the breakfast you need to have a protein not hard boiled eggs something people need to have like bacon or sausage
3.6
This Econo lodge is extremely old. Does not look like it in the pictures however it is. The bathtub is worn out and looks dirty. Would not take a bath in it.
3.6
Very convenient location for shopping and dining. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.
