The staff were congenial and responsive to the concerns I raised.
The pool is unusually large for a hotel.
It's a great place to stay if you have a dog.

Glad we had the back room it keeps the noise down from the highway

Close to the airport. Helpful staff. EXTREMELY comfortable bed. Free parking. Not a fancy spot but served the purpose for my business trip. Adjacent restaurant was affordable with good breakfast.

Arrived to an older hotel with restaurant closed and limited choices in the area. Not a walkable neighborhood. Desk staff very helpful in attaining transportation back downtown to nicer, but much more expensive hotel. 🏨 unfortunately non-refundable booking.

Perfect. Pool & hot tub was clean, not crowded, plenty of towels, nice seating areas.

The room smelled old and stale muck like dirty socks. The bed was worn and waaay to soft and it was just kind of gross

Overall not bad. Disappointed the lounge wasn’t available as it is being renovated. This was not made known to us at booking time
Also, balcony isn’t much use without seating

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at

There was no toilet paper, when I went to take a shower I discovered two very wet towels hanging on the door, or back of door. There was no remote in the room.. the staff was nice, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a five

Close to downtown Portland, reasonably priced. Wish gym had more than just treadmills and a machine

My stay at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Portland was a complete disaster from start to finish. As soon as we entered our room, we were hit with an unbearable, unpleasant odor that made us both feel sick and gave us severe headaches. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned properly; the smell was so overpowering that it seemed to linger in our clothes and belongings.
The unhygienic conditions were appalling. The bathroom was dirty, with mold around the edges and what looked like mildew stains on the shower curtain. The bed linens had visible stains, and the carpets were so filthy that we kept our shoes on at all times. It felt like the entire room had not been cleaned in weeks.
To make matters worse, our room key was only activated for one day despite having prepaid for the entire stay. We had to repeatedly visit the front desk to get the key reactivated, which was not only inconvenient but also added to our overall frustration. The staff's lack of competence and unwillingness to address the issues promptly only made the situation worse.
Overall, the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Portland was a major disappointment. The combination of an awful smell, poor cleanliness, and incompetent service made it a stay I would rather forget. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly be avoiding it in the future.

The room smelled a little damp

Room and common areas were clean, staff was friendly, and location was convenient (close to the good breweries and I-95). Can’t beat the price for the quality. I re-book every time I come to Portland.

Super clean, TV remote didn’t worked, poor Wifi signal

It was great! I had to change my reservation details a few weeks prior to our stay and that was a very easy process. Staff was super friendly when we checked in and overall the hotel matched exactly what we needed. Under condition I gave it a 4 because the hotel common spaces feel a little dated, though certainly clean. For eco-friendliness I gave it a 3 because I had no sense of the hotel’s sustainability efforts.

Very dated and not clean. You can hear next room toilet flushing.

This is easy to get too. The room wasn’t ready when I got there (after 3pm) but the service from the front desk was pleasant and kind. The room was nice and clean. There was a little balcony which was cute. Water pressure in shower was good. Plus there is a little breakfast/lunch restaurant attached to the hotel which has amazing food and service as well.

We arrived in our room to find it smelling both of smoke and of sewer gas. I believe that the toilet needed to be serviced and reattached. The grounds had multiple dumpsters that were left open and birds were picking at the trash. I am positive that there are rooms in this hotel that are cleaner and don’t smell, but the one we got was pretty horrible.

The location is convenient for us for our area activities.

Overall not a bad experience. It's an older hotel so there's going to be some used aspects.
Beds were fine but the pillows were questionable.
Upon check in the third floor was not an option. I believe people live there, so that was a little questionable for a family hotel.

Stayed one night for concerts at Thompson’s Point in Portland. Hotel was nice if a bit run down. Clean and super easy to get to. Only real complaint is the free WiFi is horrendous. Dropped out repeatedly and depending on where we were inside the first floor room it wouldn’t always work at all. Restaurant was closed due to staffing issues.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. However, the building is in need of updating. That alone isn't an issue, but the variety of unpleasant smells in various areas would make me choose elsewhere next time.

Restaurant is closed due to staffing. No microwave in room but frint desk was helpful. Carpet is dirty but beds are comfortable and bathroom was clean. It is not easy access since it is a right turn only and the interstate is to the left. Shopping and food is nearby.

It was a nice place to stay for my grandson's baseball tournament. Loved the indoor pool and two hot tubs. The Stack's restaurant was great. Convenient and great food.

Kinda out dated, but clean and quiet

It was fine. Nothing special, but it worked for what we needed. Location was perfect for us. The room was nice and big which was really nice but the bathroom was just meh. Dated, not super clean and no vent fan so it got really hot in there. Day 2 our keys stopped working but the guy at the desk fixed it very quickly. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was not cleaned at all which was fine except we had to go get fresh towels.
