The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was well maintained.
When they mentioned that breakfast was included, I just expected muffins/toast and tea or coffee but what they served was beyond my expectations.

Very disappointed Red Lion Brand
1. Charging for parking $13.00 Really?
2. Garbage all over flower beds parking lot entry ways.
3. Paint pealing inside and out.
4. Charging guest to park when they're already paying to stay there. While renting extra parking.
Very disappointed in breakfast no decaf coffee just 1/2 +1/2 for creamer.

Horrible desk person at check in. We went to check in around 9 pm and no one as at front desk. We searched, knocked on door and talked loudly to see if anyone was working. After 15 minutes he came out and said he was in back eating dinner and could hear us but didn’t think it was necessary to let us know he was back there. He was the rudest hotel desk person I have ever met.
The room was fine, the breakfast was basically juice and apples as they ran out of everything else.

It’s an older hotel but it’s comfortable and clean enough. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

A remodel project should be explained on reservation page, including want services are lacking. Lack of amenities is a problem that can be accepted if known! Parking charge just plain sucks, I must of missed that when we made reservation! Plus side, beds and covers top notch. TV service is lacking!

Overall it is good. Just had some noises at night. Good price for the location.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel. The pictures were VERY misleading about the current status of the property and free breakfast. We had difficulty checking in because one of the computers was down. When we finally got to our room, there were towels on the floor, used tissue on the counter, and the bed sheets were pulled back. We went up front but it was hard to get to the front with all our luggage we had to carry down a flight of stairs. We had two switch to a double bed room because they didn't have others available. On our way to the room, a housekeeper went to our original room with ONLY A CAN OF LYSOL when we told the front deks someone had obviously slept in the bed. Then when we got to that room, it was far away from where we parked and upstairs with another long trip. Then we got to this room and there were used contacts on the mirror and floor, and mildew around the shower and sink. When I was in bed, a black centipede crawled out from under the sheets. The breakfast was NOTHING like the pictures and a bunch of store bought stuff. We paid for two nights but left as soon as we could the following morning....couldn't leave fast enough.

Nicely located, quiet and friendly. A bit sad that leaving at 6am each day at weekend meant too early for breakfast, but coffee always nice.

This hotel was so easy to stay at. I got two rooms for myself and my mother, they gave us connected rooms. It was super convenient. There's a lot of food available within walking distance and the air unit was very easy to adjust. The check in & out times were also super convenient.

One of those “gets the job done” for the price. Clean, but the premises are pretty run down overall. Definitely could use a remodel in the room, as well as exterior. Our in wall heat/ac unit had a broken fan that rattled intermittently all night and woke us up a few times. Again, a little abv average but not anything amazing.

When booking, didn’t say anything about an extra parking fee, only to arrive and have to pay extra money for parking. I went back and checked and nowhere said parking would incur a fee. I understand paying parking if you were going to use the parking and the go somewhere else, but I am paying to stay there - of coarse I am going to bring a car.
Add the amount to the fee or don’t charge.

Stay was good, but they closed breakfast at 8.45am itself although it said breakfast will be open until 9am
Second day also same thing happened
They did not have milk for cereal , don’t know why they call it breakfast when once whatever is over they don’t replenish so if you go late even 8.30am nothing may be there .. not even bagel or bread or even milk or banana was there

Hotel is fine. Front desk staff was not very friendly or welcoming. It would be good to work on customer service and demeanor. Otherwise ok.

The staff is wonderful and the beds are comfy. Slept great. The rooms are a bit musty, and several amenities are no longer functional.
No bathroom extraction fan, no pool, peeling wallpaper, no outer locks on building. Easy grab and go breakfast.

I always enjoy staying at the Red Lion Hotel. Parking is reasonable and easy. Breakfast is included in my stays. Easy access to freeway. I am a return customer.

I forgot to ask his name, but the concierge who checked us in was SO helpful! He provided us with money saving tips to make our concert parking experience so much better. The beds were also incredibly comfortable.

Got to the Hotel pretty late so we didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. But in the morning, there were ants all over the table between the beds and the desk and the window also out shower did not drain and need someone to come in and clean and spray our room. Although Maintenance was very kind the ants can’t back. I asked to be moved to a different room and was informed that there were no rooms available when the parking lot was literally empty! Not only that the door to go into the hall to get to our room did not lock so anyone could have walked down our halls! Definitely will not be staying here again! Also front staff girls are RUDE!

I loved how quiet it was. We had someone next to us and didn’t even hear them. Beds were comfy and clean. Other than an older building the stay hotel was very nice!

There were ants in the room and quite a few in the pool.

I feel like the photos are a trick. The property is average and completely unremarkable. The staff was nice. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Many items were lacking and needed replacing or repair to make it more than just average. It needs updating.

No elevator. Room old and not clean. Holes in curtains.

I love the patio direct outdoor access. lovely, convenient and comfortable. Shame they’re letting it go downhill. The lock on the back door doesn’t work properly; gardens are sad, pavement is patched and bumpy. But the bed was comfortable. Too bad about the black mold in the grout. And the restaurant is closed. Sigh.

It’s a nice simple room. Plenty of parking and easy access to/from 405.
One problem, complaint. After booking online and pre paying for a room, there is a form and “extra fee” to sign when you check in! $50.

There were absolutely no elevators. Staff did not offer to help with bags. We had to walk around and around pulling all luggage’s ourselves and carrying them up stairs. When we found the building, the glass door was broken and it looked tampered with. The room was very old and outdated. Balcony door was filth. We were scared to even open it!

When I checked in I was told nothing except where my room was, no check out time, nothing about the continental breakfast, etc. Another person checked in at the same time and they were given lots of information which I heard. My guy had no name tag and dressed like he was out for a run.

My stay was pleasant and the front desk staff are wonderful people, they truly understand guest's need and serve cordially.
Its the staff that makes this hotel a great place. Overall the room was good.

For the price, the Red Lion is great for a quick stay. The building we stayed in had the exterior door broken. So anyone could come inside the building, even at night. It was concerning, but after 2 nights no kind of criminal activity happened. Perhaps it's a low crime area. The pool is outdoor, and cold. The grab and go breakfast was awesome though. They shut down promptly at 9am.

The hotel was older, but the area was good. The bed was comfortable, and the room was mostly clean except for the ants in the bathroom around the sink. Called the front desk and left a message but got no return call. I decided to go down to the desk to ask for bug spray. The attendant didn't have any so I was given a can of Lysol disinfecting spray. When I checked out, I mentioned the ants to the front desk clerk, and he took my parking fee off my bill for the inconvenience.

Haunted. Being pet friendly there was smell. Carpets were dirty. Dead atmosphere. I will not recommend.

Property is very old and run down. Door frame to room was broken. Wall paper on walls throughout was coming off. Sheets looked dirty and stained.
4.0 / 10.0
Outside doors of hotel are not locked even though there is a sign that says key cards must be used as doors are locked. Was assigned one room, toilet was running when we walked in and would not flush. Moved to different room. Charged $12 to park.
2.0 / 10.0
Door stuck open unless you shove it closed. Mystery wet stuff on the carpet. Moldy shower and burnt out light bulbs in the bath room. The tub took a good twenty minutes to finally drain. Fridge stunk horrible. Staff does not service your room and fails to bring clean towels when you request them. They are so understaffed they actual put in writing that they need you to take your trash out of the room each morning. Breakfast is inedible. I could keep going…. I’ve traveled all over the world and never once I have ever been expected to take out my trash and go four days without the room being serviced even once. We wanted to give Red Lion and chance but we will not be back.
