Good location for city centre. Good breakfast with freshly made coffee to order. Room had everything we needed but the bathroom was over furnished and therefore tight for space.

Enigma Restaurant is a must try...Food and staff are just great.

Very good

This was a great base to explore Reggio Emilia. Breakfast buffet was good value. Favorite restaurants nearby were Herbe Cucina and Interno Tre

Nice and frendly

Best hotel in town by far
4.2
Very impressive hotel. Staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and accomodating. Would definitely stay there again.
4.2
Convenient, nice staff but parking could be an issue, also could be noisy at night
4.2
Very good experience. :)

Old hotel, I have been twice in this hotel during a period of 6 months and paintings works still on. Room very basic, hot room and no AC
4.2
Very conveniently situated hotel for visiting Reggio. Large comfortable room. Gym was completely inadequate. Good breakfast.
4.2
Very well placed, quiet and accommodating.
A bit outdated interior but it is OK.
4.2
Terrible condition of the room , moquette dirty 30 years old , rolling shutter not working at all , level of 1 star .
Orribly experience

Everything about the hotel was top quality - the room, the service from staff when required, effcieincy of check in and check out, restuarant recommendations. The hotel is brilliantly located in Reggio, next to a lovely park, a five minute walk across a square full of dancing fountains into the lively and majestic historic centre.

Hotel Mercure was great.
Hotels.com support was weak. I had 5 different cancelled reservations in Europe due to covid and didn't find out until after arrival
4.2
Great location. Staff did fantastic job at breakfast. Bathrooms need updating
4.2
Very ice and helpful and consequent in corona protection
4.2
Good location/ parking and everything room was ok, no water/tea etc. View out of window was non-descript. Mattress wasn’t comfortable, did the job for 1 night.

Comfortable hotel perfect for a business trip at Reggio Emilia!

Ive stayed here before but I enjoyed this type of room much better
4.2
The staff was always friendly and helpful even though I don’t speak a word of Italian. They were absolutely wonderful!
4.2
Considering that I had called them to see I couldn’t make it to my reservation the first night, and that I would still keep the reservation- they still cancelled my reservation as I arrived the next day. They could only guarantee one night- because they were able to sell my reserved room for double the price to other guests who were in town for an exhibit. They played me, day by day. I ended up getting Non refundable sub standard bed, far from the city bed and breakfast- until day by day they said they can accommodate me, at double the price -‘d without my Hotels.com frequent stay credit.

Convenient to the center of town. On the edge of a park.

Stayed here for a week and enjoyed the hotel and staff very much. They were helpful and courteous. They were also great regarding visiting surrounding towns and cities. This is a great place to stay. The room was very clean, nice bathroom and plenty of light coming thru the window and balcony door.
4.2
Very nice staffs. Not quite 4 stars, very dated. but still nice hotel.
4.2
Greeted by unfriendly staff which was disappointing, not helpful and tried very little to be accommodating. We felt very insulted actually, never had that experience before.
They charge for underground parking which was unexpected.
The hotel was undergoing renovations and so we had drilling throughout the day! The car park was full of building materials, cement! We felt like we were staying on a building site, awful! No staff to help carry luggage to the room. Elevator was tiny, had to do a few trips to get luggage to room!
We paid for two nights, but left after one because we were so uncomfortable, poor sleep with uncomfortable bed, flat pillow and dust.

I Love going to this hotel every time I am going to RE. I t is in the city center in middle of beautiful park. Has the best, polite, friendly stuff and the Manger Sig, Arnaldo is other than being professional he is a great person. There is free parking and the best breakfast in town. Over all it is the best hotel in the whole RE

This a typical Italian modern four star hotel. Centrally situated, it provided excellent value for money. For very little extra money, I upgraded to a superior room, and I am glad that I did, which gave extra room, more comfort, and a view over the park. The staff were very helpful, for example, recommending restaurants, of which there are plenty of good ones nearby. I ate in the hotel restaurant on one evening, which again is very good, although not cheap. It is, however, particularly noted for it's seafood. Breakfast, on the other hand was quite disappointing, even by Italian standards.
Reggio is a typical northern Italian small city, and I found it a useful base, (station 10 minutes walk away), but you can see all there is to see in Reggio itself in half a day.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Merure Astoria at Reggio Emillia so close to the town centre and great resturants close by.
4.2
Perfect location and very modern rooms in this hotel.

I stay here often on business, but it is a vacation in itself to stay at the Astoria. It is nestled in the corner of a beautiful park with statues and walkways. One block away is the best restaurant on earth and a quarter mile walk to the most incredible shopping and walking square. It is a true bathing in Italian culture. Forget the big cities and visit Reggio.
4.2
A fine hotel in an excellent location! Comfortable, clean, an accommodating staff, near the center of the city and close to the highway.
