Lovely people and great hotel

No valet as described. Very very limited parking. Had to park on the street. Breakfast limited and not very good.

Regal and classy are a few words that come to mind to describe this hotel. We also had a delicious dinner and listened to live music outside on the patio. Our room was spacious with beautiful furniture, a comfy bed and relaxing shower. If we are back in West Virigina we will stay again, without question.

We enjoyed the 2 night stay at the Blennerhassett. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space and the rainfall shower head was great. We arrived in a downpour and although we did not use the valet parking, a young gentleman came out with an umbrella for us and helped us take our bags to our room. A walk through the hotel checking out the photographs gives you insight to the area, as well as the hotel. There is also a spa on sight. We recommend the tour of the Blennerhassett Island via the sternwheeler.

Our first time staying at this lovely historic hotel. The staff really makes all the difference. We had a delicious meal in the surprisingly pretty courtyard patio, and they even have a sommelier who comes over to chat, even if you’re just getting wine by the glass. Our favorite part was they host a dog adoption service and there’s always a dog you can pet or even take them on a walk if you want. We had Baxter who was sooo sweet. All the staff were top-notch.

Elegant hotel, lovely garden patio, very good dining.

The food was the only issue lunch in bar was terrible but the great male bartender made it right with a fresh sandwich we chose not to have dinner here than breakfast buffet was cold all of it except for coffee! Nice presentation too bad it wasn’t even warm!!
4.7
The room was well appointed with a very comfy bed, covers over the cups and mugs, luxurious towels (and plenty of them!) in the bathroom... complimentary continental breakfast was excellent and had freshly baked muffins and cookies! Honestly plan to go back if I need to spend the night in that area again.

we booked for one night and other than some people standing outside by the elevators talking loudly (our room was right next to the elevators) the stay was fine. The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. The bar staff in the lounge were the highlite of the stay. They were so nice and more entertaining than the olympics on the TV. The host at the restaurant was super nice and accommodating as was the woman at the cafe who made me a great peach smoothie.

Outstanding!! From checkin to checkout!! And, Christopher was very accommodating, friendly, respectful with a smile!

Very nice hotel and very dog friendly. Nice continental breakfast in the morning.

The staff always had a smile and the hotel was amazing! We listened to a band during dinner on the patio and went to the hidden speak easy after. This hotel is special and a must on your list of destinations.

I understood from the booking that I would save a transaction fee if I paid cash at booking. We had three rooms, and the front desk said that they had already charged my card for one of the rooms, and it would be hassle to credit my card back to allow me to pay cash for all three. So I ended up paying the fee despite having the cash on-hand. I think this should have been much easier.

My daughter accidently left her Mac tablet which we didn’t even realize and we received a prompt call from Aira telling us they had it. Staff is always delightful and attentive, we have stayed at this property multiple times with same exceptional staff and services.

The hotel and our room was very clean. The personel was pleasant but we only got to meet the concierge on our last day there. He was always occupied somewhere else! The internet was extremely weak in our room and at times keep shutting down once we got log onto it. We did not have much water pressure coming out of the shower head, small bathroom but great bedroom size.

Beautiful historic hotel. Quiet bar/lounge. Amazing breakfast.
4.7
Friendly staff, clean hotel rooms and common areas. The building has nice old charm and is well maintained. Restaurant food was great, and was the bar, it offers a large selection of drinks. Gift shop available and coffee cafe on site was nice. Room rate was very reasonable and free parking close to the hotel. Surprised to get a personal mailed thank you note for our stay from the hotel. Shows appreciation and how classy the place is. I would surely stay again if in the area.

Nice location. Very stylish decor.

Room was clean, waitess inside for dinner was friendly and attentive. Went outside to lesten to live music was told to sit anywhere so sat a table with umbrella. Went to get drinks at outside bar no service. Went to inside bar took 10 minutes to get acknowledged then when brought back reciept pen didnt write and took another 10 minutes to get one that did. Went back outside to table about 45 minutes enjoying music the lady that checks/seats people when you enter dinning came over and told us that she has overbooked reservations and we would have to leave. She said we could move over to some patio chairs with no tables. We just went back to our rooms.

I cannot stress enough the friendliness, and hospitality of this hotel's staff!! So helpful and friendly, just unbelievable. The food here is also excellent. We had Sunday brunch here and also a special Memorial Day meal. The patio area is gorgeous. They have speakeasy on the lower level which is fun and serves really good drinks. The hotel is conveniently situated so you can walk to local attractions. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel with lots of charm and style. Had a very nice stay. Didn't try the hotel restaurant, but it was an easy walk to some nice restaurants. Enjoyed the area - quick walk to the rivers and the historic district.
