Excellent place to base yourself when exploring the Black Forest. Baden-Baden itself it very beautiful but the train connections to Strasbourg and other Black Forest places are amazing!
4.4
Wonderful staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious and air conditioned. Note that not all rooms have air conditioning. Breakfast was included and was the best we’ve had. Even included champagne.
Location was perfect—convenient to everything.
4.4
Beautiful hotel in an ideal location
4.4
Excellent location, excellent breakfast buffet, could improve in room facilities (no kettle or complimentary tea/coffee), bed was comfortable but avoid 5th floor if over 6' as rooms at this level have dormer windows but exposed 'A' frame rafters a lovely feature if height not an issue
4.4
Stayed there one night. Beautiful old hotel conveniently located in the center. Easy to walk everywhere. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, well equipped. Good breakfast.
4.4
Very friendly staff! Nice connection to spa, though there were a few miscommunications about how to pay (cash only) and providing materials
4.4
Nice location, easy walk to everywhere including Casino.
4.4
The room was nice but I think I had one of the larger rooms. The beds were not overly comfortable. It’s an old hotel which is cool for the charm. It was a great price but it felt more like a 3.5 star hotel. No conditioner, bars of soap, nor washcloths. And NO PARKING! you need to park your car in a lot somewhere and walk back. If I had realized this I might have chosen another place. But the breakfast buffet was very nice.

Property is in a great location, however no onsite parking.
We were charged 40 euro extra for roll away bed for the night.
4.4
Perfectly located in the pedestrian area of the old town only a few minutes walk to the spas. Old world charm, great breakfast buffet and spacious rooms. Only disappointment was the break down in supply of thermal spring water to bathrooms. Not the hotel’s fault but no mention of existing problem until we asked.
4.4
Lovely hotel, great breakfast and service.
Down points.
No tea or coffee facility in room. Also claim to be able to use hot spring waters in bath. No supply of hot spring water at all during our stay in the room.
4.4
This was a good property, close to the major attractions- the room was large and the staff were pleasant!!

We plan to come back in October for fall season.

Great location and amazing room

Excellent hotel, highly recommended.

The room was very old. The outlets did not work.

Business hotel in an amazing location in the old city
4.4
This unique hotel is the perfect mix of Old World charm and Modern conveniences. The location was perfect and the staff friendly and helpful. The on site spa was amazing..
4.4
Great hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location to old town and bath houses as well as Christmas Markets. Very comfortable large room. Breakfast was included and very good. I would stay here again.
4.4
A gorgeous hotel with lovely rooms and an excellent breakfast. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful.
4.4
lovely central hotel, everything great
4.4
Excellent location 5 minutes walking from anywhere in town. Amazing service. Room was very small and a quite old-fashioned, but you should always go out anyway.
4.4
Outstanding old-school place. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. And an amazing town.
4.4
Old style German hotel in central Baden Baden.
Very friendly service. Room was nice and very quiet. Breakfast in little garden was good.
Parking was done in nearby park-house at very reasonable price.
4.4
Super charming hotel with very central location in Baden-Baden. Gives the air of a by-gone era - very nice.
4.4
As the location of this hotel is so premium, the charming old German style of it really invades all your senses. The staff is so professional! Amnesties in all its functions are so interesting... A wonderful hotel really! You will always keep it in your mind once you leave it!

The staff were so friendly and very helpful also a very nice touch it was my birthday and the team made me a card gave me and my partner champagne and put happy birthday all over the table. I have stayed all over the world on my birthday and this was the first hotel ever to show time and effort on my birthday thank you very much I will remember this for ever. The location was also perfect thank you all very much.😊😊😊😊😊😊

Bathtub has thermal water, steam room and sauna on site. 4 min walk to Casino. Excellent breakfast.
4.4
The bathroom door handle extended out and is a Hazzard to bump into coming in and out of the bathroom. I have bruised from it.
4.4
The hotel is in a good location for fests and the casino. There is no parking for this hotel which is very inconvenient. Parking must be on the street 2 to 6 blocks away, but be careful due to certain hours you may have to move your car. There are two parking garages, but that will cost 25 euros per day.
4.4
A wonderful experience in this beautiful town of Baden-Baden! Hotel was fabulous with beautiful rooms, great breakfast, excellent staff, and location...right in the pedestrian zone!

- weird creepy front desk guy. Didn’t tell us about wifi or time for breakfast
- Terrible wifi. Kept dropping. And to re-login, you had to go through the whole process of joining the network again. It was a hotspot, so I wondered how safe it was.
- Very quiet room (209), even though we overlooked the main street.
- No parking at hotel (which we knew), but front desk guy could barely make himself understood as to how to get there. But he certainly knew the prices at the various garages.
- Cute room. Not large.
- Weird toiletries- in shower was one thing for hair and body- really, at a hotel at this price point? And you squeezed the bottle from the top - no dispenser button.
- Curtains were room dimming but not darkening.
- Twin mattresses pushed together in queen bed frame
- Small bathroom - if someone was using the toilet, it would be difficult to have someone use the sink.
- Typical breakfast in terms of variety. For example, some fresh fruit, delicious buns, cereal, OJ from concentrate, eggs, bacon; toaster didn’t work well.
- Stunning dining room - looked liked a ballroom. It was echoey as there weren’t many people in it at the time.
- My sister was in a higher category room and she had a sign not to drink the water, but we didn’t.
- Front desk staff - Daria? Was very pleasant as we checked out.
- Hard bed
- Good, central location
- Hubby thought the bathroom

Room was terrible. Beds hard. Water wasn’t drinkable (sign posted) & no bottled water provided. Clothing wardrobe rattled when you walked across room. Beds weren’t made. Duvet folded on top of bed. Felt like the military. Minimal toiletries provided. Drapes didn’t close so you couldn’t sleep in. Walls thin, you could hear guests next door. Wifi kept on cutting out. Breakfast minimal.

This hotel is great. The location is fabulous since it is just within walking distance of the central attractions. We arrived to Baden by train and rode the public bus (2.6 euro each) to the closest bus station to the hotel which was only a couple of blocks. The check in and check out was super fast with no issues at all. We only stayed 1 night but we would have been so happy to stay more. We walked to the Caracalla Spa which is only 6 to 7 minutes and had the most relaxing time ever. The bed was great, the layout of the room is good too, with enough space for a couple and the bathroom was also good -not tiny like mostly all in Europe-. The day of the check out we took a taxi to the main train station that the very nice staff of reception called for us. It is only like a 10 minutes ride and cost about 15 Euro. All in all we strongly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Baden.

We chose this hotel because of the suite option to kick start our vacation in luxury, and the room did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and very helpful, even for questions about how to use the public transit to get out of town. It was in a good location and we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel. Excellent location. Staff was wonderful. Loved the dual water sources. Took several hit mineral baths.
4.4
The rooms have lovely antique or classic furniture and the night Portier is really friendly!

Only stayed for 1 night, but was perfect location, friendly staff, and clean modern room. Easy to park.

Staff was excellent and great recommendations
