Gym lacked almost everything a gym should have, if a grandma wanted to grab 15 minutes of cardio, that would be about sufficient. Most of the breakfast was cold, especially the very thin egg patties, which I ended up throwing out. Maybe the warmer was broken? The mattress was pretty firm compared to other places I stayed at. Also, the fridge didn’t work, my leftovers went bad because the fridge was either unplugged or broken. As for the positives, room was very modern and nice, looked pretty clean but you never know with hotels, I didn’t go as far as to black light everything. The staff was very nice, probably the best part of my visit was interacting with both the front desk lady and the cleaning staff. Although the hotel is pretty nice, it’s definitely not worth $200 a night!

Traveling for an extended time and it worked out well for me. Clean, near a lot of shops, good water pressure and Internet.

Very comfortable stay with little extras that made it a great value for money. Comfy robes (2), nice-sized private outdoor patio with seating for two & a little table, high-pressure (!) shower (not adjustable :/), comfortable bed/bedding. Thick pillows (:/). Fridge & microwave in room. Clean pool, well-lit for night swimming. Great buffet-style breakfast spread with egg & cheese omelets, meats, make-your-own waffles, large croissants, etc.

Very nice property and room, very comfortable, with courteous staff. I would stay here again.

It was shabby especially the carpets in hallways, balcony was also, the electrical in the room by air conditioner was out in the open & outdated & bathroom door with a $2 hook to lock the door😅 the ONLY thing i liked about this hotel was the pool and the area around the pool although the pool had some leaves at the bottom of floor. So will i stay here again No.

Nice place to stay while in Middletown Township. A few miles from Navesink River, so no problem with the quick drive there. Hotel was great. Pool was nice; one day I was able to work poolside and it was very happy about that. Only issues were a faulty plug in the bathroom (no power on the GFCI) and the toilet was continuously trying to fill with water on our last night there. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

The bed was very soft and I had to remove 2 stink bugs from the room when i first got there but never saw another one. Luckily I knew what they were and didnt crysh them, that releases the stink. I just flushed them.

Very nice hotel. Clean comfy beds. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Requested a pool side view and wasn't able to get it.
Because my stay was only 4 days, it was ok to have a parking view.
The rest was perfect!

They claim that the pool needs to be serviced and closed for maintence but it was never on their website and it’s not . The room smelled funny and the toilet ran all night .

When I made reservations they did not say that their pool was going to be closed for maintenance. I would not have stayed there if I knew that.

Clean hotel. Pool was not opened. Expensive price for accommodations. Convenient dining options. Management was helpful was an issue. Overall , we enjoyed our stay.

Convenient for my family and I who stayed in NJ to visit.

Only thing negative, was the lighting was poor in room.

This hotel is very pretty but they advertise a pool that has never been approved to open. Desk clerk said we could lay by the pool but it was locked. Not sure what the issue is.

Pool was under maintenance, but at the worst time during peak summer months. While minor, staff should be assigned to cleaning and keeping the grill outside spotless for guests to use.

All the employees which I encountered during my stay were awesome and super friendly. The free breakfast was the best I have seen and food was great. From check in to check out everything was great

The property itself is great. The pool was closed for maintenance which I did not know in advance of my stay. It’s also a few miles from dining other than Outback in the lot. I DO NOT RECOMMEND eating there as I got food poisoning from my dinner there.

Starting a noisy construction job at 7:30 on a Saturday morning is a bad idea. Hanging up on a guest who calls the front desk to politely complain is a worse one.

Room was great, clean and comfy, dining room though not so much: too many flies at breakfast. Not many breakfast options, meat was only pork for instance

I just needed a room for one night and wanted something clean and quiet at a reasonable price. That’s what I got. Highly recommend it

My wife and I loves to stay here because it is close to the beach but specifically because the please is clean, organized and the staff is very helpful.

I wish I would have called the hotel before booking as the pool is closed for god knows what reason. Had we known this, we would have never booked a stay here but stayed at the Hilton which was $20 more and had better ratings, a large pool and everything else that this hotel has. I am angry at myself for not calling prior and angry at the hotel for falsely advertising on Expedia that they had a pool. We should get a Partial refund honestly.. who goes away and stays at an expensive hotel that doesn’t have a pool? Umm nobody that’s who..

We had a handicap accessible room (not requested) and the shower kept overflowing into the rest of the bathroom and the main room. We reported it three times and they just gave us more towels to clean up the excess water. The second time they said that we couldn't switch rooms because they didn't have another handicap accessible room. I explained that we didn't need one. Our keys would not work either. Even though we would get new ones they wouldn't work. We ended up with only one working key to get into the room. The keyed entrance door to enter the building on the side was not working either. Anyone could just walk in at any time. The pool was also closed. I have left a message w/management to see if I could get some time of refund and have not heard anything yet.

Arrived to find that pool had been closed for two days and would be closed indefinitely. Upon check-in at 5 PM, I was not informed that Middletown Township was in blackout and that the hotel was operating on a generator. The generator failed at 6:15 PM with no estimate on when power would be restored. The property was uninhabitable. I checked out and moved to the Holiday Inn in Hazlet.

It was very nicely decorated and smaller size but good room size. Staff could have been friendlier. Pool was not open.
