This hotel is so run down. The pictures are a total farce. I was scared of touching anything and the beds were so old I’m sure they were not healthy. My husband and I didn not have a good sleep or stay. Avoid!

This hotel was nothing special. Pretty basic all around. You can tell everyone who stayed here was just passing through because by 9:00 the parking lot was fairly empty. The beds were not particularly comfortable and the hotel was moderately clean. There are not very many options better than this around the area so as long as you have a realistic idea about this it should be sufficient. The staff however was very friendly and helpful. That would probably be the best part of the overall experience.

Exterior and interior doors need replacement, The room smelled of chlorine and Disinfectant, we needed to air it out before we could stay… The tub was new, but the rest of the bathroom appeared very old. The balcony needed repairs, felt unsafe. The deadbolt on the door was very difficult to lock. The next night we stayed at a Hampton Inn in Ukiah, which was fabulous by comparison, and $40 cheaper….

Parking lot had many spots. The property was old.

This was a good, average hotel.
Nothing stellar, nothing bad.
We did find the bed very comfortable.

It was not as expected but still happy with this stay overall.

No notice or warning about the light house beeping every minute. Have to use stairs. Breakfast selection was very poor

Older hotel. Room could have been cleaned better. Property needs repairs. Breakfast area was very small—not enough room for guests. Not a very good area.

The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. But for over $200 a night, the place was rin down.

The toilet didn't flush, the soap tray in the shower still had soap remnants in it, there was mildew around the shower handle, it smelled like stinky pet, and just generally felt unclean. We didn't even end up staying because we found a much better option. We couldn't get our money back, though, because we paid through a third party (Expedia).

High price for what we got

Staff was very friendly and helpful and the Room was clean. Location was great walking distance to a few places to eat and a convince store for forgotten odds and ends.

I want to start by saying that the front desk person, named John, was extremely helpful and service was excellent. The location was par for the course. There is a really good restaurant one or two blocks away. It is an older hotel but I feel like the staff was doing the best they could with what they have.

It was close to the redwoods, only 15 minute drive

The evening staff were very nice, however, the room was dirty. We bought some disinfectant wipes and cleaned every surface and they were filthy. After showering and just walking to the bed to put shoes and socks on, feet were completely dirty from the floor. We actually tried to find another hotel for the second night but everything was booked. Will never stay there again.

Staff was friendly at check in. We were sad there was not a pool, although we were led to believe there was one because of a photo showing a pool on the reviews. 10 year old, very disappointed. Breakfast was fine, however the hash browns were not seasoned or "pan fried" so they were very bland.

Hotel room and premises was clean and staff were friendly. It was good enough for one-night.

This was a good place to stay especially with family. Aquarium was walking distance away. Room was clean and large. Toilets are tiny though so be aware.

Was an okay hotel. Rather older and run down. Needs some upgrading.

This place was an unexpected gem! While the overall atmosphere during check-in felt more like a motel, the rooms are beautiful and the beds were the most comfortable we’ve had during our 8 day trip up the CA coast. They made sure our two rooms were next to each other as we requested. The service was great and we enjoyed the breakfast. It is a convenient location too, close to a couple great restaurants (try SeaFront bakery and its sister restaurant SeaQuake brewing), and Redwood hiking trails. Would definitely stay again.

The toilet ran nonstop, the sink drained poorly, floors were dirty, flooring transition is a trip hazard. 1 of the rooms had previously been broken into and the door jamb was poorly repaired and the door handle/lock plate were loose an wobbly.

They don't know how to clean
Between sand and every guest hair
In the bedroom and bathroom

Absolutely the worst in every way. Do not go there. Beware. Think of anything that could go wrong and it will be even worse than that. The building needs to be condemned. Gross!

The bathroom needed to be cleaned better. Breakfast was getting low on food about 30 minutes after it began. Staff no where to be found on several occasions.
2.0
Floor wasn’t totally clean at our arrival. The area was not appealing and not much to do.
2.0
People were prowling the area to steal from cars in the motel parking lot. The room’s bath floor was dirty and water tempt for shower was inaccurate. Nobody was at the desk during our check out time so we and another guest left our check out cards on the desk.

Great customer service and a comfortable stay.

Tried to check in an hour early but was told to come back @3. Came back then but room not ready so waited in parking lot for another hour. Breakfast was awful-all cold. Sure dont recommend this facility. We wont be back

We were in Crescent City for the night of the fourth of July. We selected this property for its location for viewing the fireworks. We did not expect much from the room and it met our expectations. There were several broken or damaged fixtures and features. I left a note, and discussed it with the duty clerk. I was assured that the issues would be addressed. Quality Inns simply fail to meet the words on the marquee. Nothing truly terribly wrong, bit also nothing exceptional either. Dull and disappointing.

There were a few things I did not like. It was a busy holiday weekend…so not going to blame them for it.
2.0
Roo.s look nothing like the pictures. Incredibly outdated. Paint chipping all over room, screen door falling off, mold in the bathroom. The room wasn't ready when we got there we had to wait 2 hours.
