First of all a big THANK YOU to all the staff, esp Ms. Brea (f/d pm Mgr.) at Day's Inn for making our 6 night business trip a memorable one. She accommodated us in every possible way. Even though there was a common office space to use, but I needed to have a desk in my room. She got me a desk and an chair inside my room. She along with others were always very helpful. Ms. Brea treated us like family and was always looking forward to help in any way possible. Thanks to all the staff at this location..
Even though this hotel is not new, everything was clean and in excellent working condition. They have basic free non hot breakfast provided, b'cos there was no kitchen. This is not a problem as there are a lot of small family owned cafe's around which you can enjoy daily. Oh, they service hot pop-corn and cookies daily in the afternoon :)
The location is only within 15 minutes to downtown, major stores, scenic walking places, etc.
I loved this place, staff and location. Will definitely be back and will stay here again. Thank you Ms. Brea and all the staff of Days Inn - Coeur d'Alene.

The rooms have all been remodeled and are very nice. The one negative is the layout for accessibility in ADA room. There needs to be equal space on both sides of the bed. It was a very tight squeeze for a wheelchair user on the right side of the bed. Sometimes the disabled person doesn’t have a choice on which side of the bed they need to use. A tight space makes it impossible for a caregiver to render aide as needed.

Overall everything was great. The bathroom looked like it could use some bleach in some spots. The comforter on the bed was insanely thin and the pillows were not great. But the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was decent.

The staff was exceeding kind at a time when my husband was not well. I really appreciated their extra effort on our behalf. Thank you.

Place was absolutely the cleanest hotel we have stayed at on our 2 week trip, smelled so clean everytime you walked in, and mist courteous employees of anywhere we stayed. Definitely will stay again at a Days Inn. Great job Coeur d'Alene!

We only stayed one night and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and had us booked in quickly. The breakfast was a continental type breakfast, so we went over to Cracker Barrel instead. Check out was 12:00 which was nice.

Aged bathroom with rust and towel holder loose from wall and bathmat detaching from tub temperature seemed warmer than settings in the room due to high levels of humidity that was not able to be evacuated by the exhaust system in the bathroom

I loved their cookies! The staff was very nice. Rooms were clean. Bed was not as comfortable.

It was a very simple and older hotel. It had a clean bed and bathroom but our room was very humid. It was a decent place to sleep.

Stayed here 3 nights before taking our son off to the University. This was a great place to stay: clean, quiet, affordable, comfortable, great location. And the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at 6 pm are heavenly! Will definitely be staying here again!

We thought the property was just fine. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean with enough space. The only thing I can say is these hotels without pools/hottubs and are in the lower end, is I can’t believe we are paying $330 (canadien) and night: I miss the days of $100 hotels. After all it’s just needed for a sleep. Not this hotels fault just in general!

All around a great stay with friendly staff. Budget friendly hotel that seemed clean, no fears of bed bugs. My only complaint was the breakfast, slim pickings, but it was better than nothing.

Great personnel and large suite was very nice.

Great property. Older but clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Popcorn and cookies were a nice touch. Breakfast was basic.
1.0 / 5.0
The breakfast provided in the morning was lackluster. No hot items, some rolls/bagels, and two selections for cereals. There was stains on the bed sheets, and the ceiling tiles for the bathrooms were loose tiles that you would find in a cheap office. Staff were friendly. No complaints when it came to the service we were provided during our stay. The amenities and room needed work.

Nice basic hotel a few miles from downtown CDA. Located just off I-90. Hotel was clean and front desk clerk accommodated my request for a room away from traffic noise.

It’s an old facility, doing their best to maintain, but would need a bit of an upgrade. Mattresses are old and sag in the middle.

room key didn’t work so went to front desk to ask for a new one and they did not ask for an ID or anything, very unsafe, anyone could’ve said their key didn’t work and said a random room number

The staff was very nice, and the hotel was clean, BUT...
It is in need of TLC. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls and the hotel and room had a definite off-smell, like mildew or something (again, it was pretty clean). The room was VERY stuffy, we tried turning on the AC but it gave a VERY bad smell of mold and I was not going to run it in case it was mold
Was a budget hotel and location was good, right off I-90 and was ok for only sleeping as we were at Silverwood during the day, but not for spending any time there.

The smell of the building always smelt like cigarette smoke my room smelt awful. My room key was not set for the correct amount of time so had to go to front desk a couple of times for my room key to be reset. But staff was so awesome and helpful.

Breakfast wasn’t great: bagels, toast, yogurt. No hot foods. We had a little water leak in our AC but took care of the problem quickly after we discovered it. All in all it was a nice property just don’t plan on breakfast there.

The room looked nice but after I was in the shower I kept noticing long dark hair n I am blonde.
The breakfast was cold cereal or bagels, nothing hot. I thought it was overpriced for only offering a cold breakfast, so we went to Cracker Barrel, it's very close 😊

The hotel offered several little touches that just made one feel welcome and at home. Staff were super friendly. Management went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay while we dealt with an unusual family medical dilemma. It was so appreciated.

Check in was easy and room was clean and suitable for our overnight needs. breakfast was not great

After only a few hours, my wife and I decided that we did not want to stay the night at the hotel and opted to drive home through out the night. The room while at first glance was somewhat updated. There were stains on the bed skirt and on the bed box. We did not feel comfortable staying the night.

This is an older hotel with popcorn ceilings, and unfortunately, there was a strong, unpleasant smell of smoke and age that greeted us as soon as we opened the door to our room. The breakfast was a disappointment as well, with only a few cold options like cereal and bagels, and the breakfast area itself wasn't well-maintained, with spills and crumbs left unattended. Given the rate we paid, we likely would have chosen a different option had we known. When I shared my concerns with the hotel in response to their feedback request, I was met with a very rude reply.

No elevator. Breakfast was bare minimum. Room was comfortable and clean. Good location. Too pricey for what you get.
2.0 / 5.0
No elevator which was weird and breakfast choices were bleak but other than that it was ok
2.5 / 5.0
Great place for a family to stay. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The kids loved the popcorn and cookies in the lobby. Staff was friendly. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Would stay here again.
