Super convenient location with large, spacious rooms. Enjoyed our stay! Staff was highly professional and friendly
4.5
The staff in the hotel were nice and helpful.
The hotel in the other hand is deficient in many things which make the stay not worthwhile.
1: The heating and air conditioning are ancient and noisy. The hotel has no effective central air. The bathrooms have vents that do not work.
2: The hallways are not lit and dark.
3: There is no room service at night.
That is disappointing from a hotel that offers a good location in Boston.

I requested a crib and it was set up in the room when we checked in! The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly.

Nice room. Suite no. 621. But close to elevators and very noisy at night in morning. Service at hotel basic not exceptional. Checkin in was ok and quick
but Checkout was rude, unprofessional. No greeting, no thank you for staying or how was your stay or simple goodbye. Just smirking with colleague after I departed desk. This booking was 1500 USD. So never again here for that price point. Really disappointing.

Great hotel, wonderful location. Close to restaurants, shopping, subway.

The hotel is right across the prudential mall and walking distance to my daughter apt and school. It’s very convenient for my family!
4.5
The hotel was in a great location. Right in front of the subway station I needed to commute to work. There was plenty of restaurante around the area and the shopping mall was located across the street. The area felt safe.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The property’s condition is pretty outdated and worn out. The hotel needs a renovation asap! The lights next to the bed were ringing when on and would turn off after 5 minutes. The lights would dim out constantly as if the power supply was not enough.
The AC was LOUD I needed to keep the room temperature a little higher so I could fall asleep without the AC waking me up constantly.
The side of the bed had bed clasps sticking out that I hit my leg with once. I kept avoiding it but it was hard to in the night when I went to the bathroom.
When I first arrived the toilet water was mirky but after I flushed it the murkiness went away. Makes me wonder whether they didn’t clean the toilet. The bathroom walls and floor were dirty but it could just be because of how old the hotel was.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here for the same price I paid. I could have definitely had a better room for that price. There’s plenty of other hotels around the area that are more modern and cleaner.

Nice hotel. Comfortable bed . Great location, close to Southend for restaurants.
The only problem is the brightness of the room during the night . Black out curtains do not block out the light fully

Beautiful hotel and helpful staff. Booked for pool and bed comfort from reviews. The pool was closed for a private event the first day sadly. The beds not good for me. I struggled with the overly soft bed and didn’t sleep well here. I do struggle with chronic back pain and the reviews showed great beds but not so much for me. Also the toilet was very low without a bar which was a challenge especially since it did state all rooms had one. There was also an extra daily fee for parking and destination which added an additional 99.00 per night which was not known until I arrived so it was definitely not great. The hotel was beautiful and clean and in a great location and the staff were mostly great so overall it was a nice stay.

We had a great stay and will be back.
A few things to knit-pick at… for the price per night, faucet knobs in the bathroom should not be lose and the reading lamps above the bed should be operable… other than that the hotel is clean, fun and the staff is very kind.

The hotel was amazing... Great service from getting out of the car to checking out.. Front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and had plenty of suggestions for us. I especially enjoyed talking to a Bellman named Norman. He is a jewel to this hotel.. :-)

Tiny room for the money
Nice pool
Gym ok

Excellent hotel, great staff - would return and recommend to others! Walking distance to Fenway and other sites.

Such a great experience! I used to live in the neighborhood, it was so great to visit. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgable, the property was in excellent condition.
We did end up checking out early (around 10pm the night before our checkout) due to family reasons. Is there any way to request a partial refund due to our early departure from hotels.com? I do understand that it may not be possible, but it's always worth asking!

Very strange hotel. Room looked really worn with banged up walls and door frames. No restaurant or bar available until 4-5pm and closed on Monday. If you want something to eat you have to go up to the pool on the top floor. My husband waited at the pool half an hour and no one ever waited on him. At this price point you should be able to get food during the day or a glass of wine. Even at check in there is no wine or cocktail hour. It felt like a Holiday Inn or something much lower class. Never paid this much for a hotel that felt this cheap. The only suggestion they had was to go to the 7 eleven around the corner for snacks. I’m not joking.

Great amenities and loved the area around the hotel.

It was a decent stay, but hardly an impressive one. I can’t say I’ve been to a more tightly packed and crowded pool area despite the cool rooftop surroundings. My biggest gripe was that the gentleman at the front desk didn’t even mention parking - how the gate was accessed with special keycard access (that we had to get later on), or that the lot was $65 per night. I’m sure it was mentioned in the fine print, but it should definitely have been mentioned at check-in.

Really great hotel with excellent central location. Parking garage is attached and you are just across from the Prudential Center, right on the subway, and the Old Town Trolley stops directly in front. The staff member who checked us in (Amber??) was so kind and friendly - so appreciated after an 8 hour drive! My only suggestion would be to have dedicated pool hours for families. I don't think it's appropriate for little kids to have to see grown adults engaging in foreplay. Alternatively, just don't advertise yourself as a family hotel.
4.5
Nice hotel with rooftop pool. Staff were helpful on arrival. We had a quiet room at the rear of the hotel. Good location in the back bay with the trolley stop right outside front doors to the hotel. Nice breakfast places very close by also. Clean hotel and rooms a nice size for a couple with large beds and a fridge in the room to keep your drinks and snacks cool in the warm weather.
4.5
AC very loud in rooms. Older bathrooms. Housekeeping leaves lots of dirty supplies in the halls which is not a good look. Location is great.
4.5
Overall service & the roof top pool/bar were great
4.5
The "breakfast" options were extremely overpriced and underwhelming.
4.5
Good location and nice rooftop pool, however had a series of issues that were not dealt with effectively by staff. This included poor communication from staff at the reception desk, parking charges being added to our account (when we didn’t have a car) and late check out not activated on the room key after arranging with front desk staff the previous evening.
4.5
Poor overall experience. The room my family stayed in was not very clean, dust was flying out of the vent when the air was turned on and the staff we interacted with were not friendly at all. Not sure what we were breathing in but my whole family has had a severe cough since our stay. I would not recommend this property to any family. The only positive feedback is the location of the property.

We came to town for a baseball game and didn't want to rent a car. Good location to walk to Fenway, the parks and the Freedom trail.
4.5
Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was great, easy to walk to shopping and sights
4.5
Room was run down, carpet gross. Toilet rims were dirty as soon as we walked in. For price of hotel, could at least have room cleaned upon arrival. Staff also wasn’t very friendly despite reviews. Best thing about hotel is just the location but I’d try a different hotel in the area next visit.
4.5
Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect and the pool and bar very enjoyable.

This hotel had an amazing location! It was easy to get around!! However, the room was not clean. Woodwork dust was an inch thick….bathroom had hair in sink, on floors and mirrors had toothpaste on them when we arrived. Chairs had all rips and tears in them. Bathroom corners had all peeling and moldy wallpaper. Just felt grossed out! Paid almost $600 a night and it was not clean. The view was spectacular….the location great but cleanliness for me is key!!

I've stayed near the Boston Common until now, but this is the first time I've stayed near the Prudential. I don't recommend the Colonnade Hotel. To use hot water in the shower, you need to keep using a large amount of water. If you use a small amount of water, you can't use hot water for the shower, so I'm concerned about both the environmental protection and the convenience. The facilities and equipment may be too old, but an acquaintance who stayed in a different room said the same thing about the hot water in the shower.

Great location

Stayed at the Colonnade many times. Always clean and staff are friendly.
4.5
This was not what was expected for a 4 star hotel. Front desk staff upon check-in were nice but other times (including check-out) were less than helpful. Definite signs of wear and tear/ age in the room. Our bathroom was in disrepair (wobbly, difficult faucet & shower handles; odor; toilet that clogged & had scratched porcelain from obvious previous issues). Had to wait over an hour & ask twice for service when we discovered toilet wasn’t working. Roof top pool and bar was nice and the bar staff there were friendly.
4.5
We had a double suite with 2 bathrooms. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. We did not get to explore the area as we arrived very late.
4.5
Clean, quiet and very comfy beds. The pool area was amazing.
4.5
Comfortable and clean rooms, kind staff, and easy access to Fenway (just a short 20 minute walk).
4.5
Great location, wonderful hotel, pool was an extra special bonus in the city!
4.5
We really liked the location to everything we were looking to do. a 15 minute walk to just about everywhere and if not, we could use the subway.
4.5
Great location. Easy access to public transportation. Very walkable area also
4.5
Hotel was clean comfortable. Restaurant was beautiful although we did not have time to try it. Hotel staff was very friendly. Great location. Short walk to Fenway.
