Really hotel and would be happy to stay again. Comfortable bed, great location, got shower, tasty breakfast and the staff were very helpful/friendly. The only issue we had was that the WiFi sometimes was poor.

We were pleasantly surprised regarding value, location and comfort. Staff were friendly and efficient. Comfortable bed, quiet at night for a good sleep. The complimentary breakfast is a great start to the day. Stunning views to Acropolis. Rooftop restaurant a must for views and great food. Highly recommend, will surely stay again.

Wonderful location for sites, shopping, dinning, transportation as well. Moderately priced, and medium sized older hotel. Rooms were smaller but comfortable and clean. Very helpful staff for watching luggage, directions, and giving recommendations too. Delicious morning complementary breakfast. Incredible views of the Parthenon from the rooftop bar.

The roof top view is incredible. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. Close to everything including the Metro. The staff seemed genuinely interested in helping whenever asked for assistance. May only suggestion is to add umbrellas on the roof top deck as it gets very warm in the direct sunshine.

Great location, very helpful front desk , fabulous rooftop bar . We spent just one night here to see the highlights of Athens. It was very good just a few things prevented it being excellent. We were on the 5th floor , however everything was audible from the streets , which went on most of the night., also often from the rooms next door. So we didnt sleep well. They offer some gluten free things at breakfast, I dont know how old they were but they tasted extremely gone off , they were individually wrapped in plastic film I suspect for a long long time. Im also have lactose intolerance but I can like many people have sheep or goats milk products , it would be so helpful to know if the feta cheese and fresh cheese was made from cow or sheep, something easy, cheap and quick to write in front of it at breakfast , would probably help a lot of people as this intolerance is so common.

Great location. Twenty minute walk to entrance to Acropolis. Vibrant neighborhood. Comfortable room. AC worked great. Will definitely stay here again

Breakfast ( scrambled eggs baked beans and jar of tiny hot dog sausages ) was stone cold as burners ran out way before we got to sit down and eat our breakfast. Probably lit them at 7 and they ran out at 8. We sat down at 9.15 Choice of hot food was limited Fruit was all out of a tin Expensive stay for a 3 Star hotel

Just about the best location possible. Everything: sights, restaurants, shops all within 15 mins of the hotel. Staff super helpful. And great breakfast to start the day. And the rooftop bar - stunning view!!!

There were six of us traveling together and we all enjoyed our stay at the Plaka Hotel. The rooms although not big were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the woman at the check-out was our savior. I booked a van and they came at 1:00am instead of 1:00pm, which was my fault, because I didn't understand the time zone. The woman at the desk took charge and called the van company. When she found out what happened she call cab companies and got us two cabs to take us to the cruise pier. We might not have made it on time without her. When I offered her a tip, she refused,stating this was part of her job!

All of the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Though our group arrived in the morning they found two rooms we could use right away. They arranged a van to transport us to the ferry the following morning and served breakfast early to accommodate our early departure. I can’t say more.

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location was great with 2-5 minute walk to Monasteraki shops and restaurants. Quick access to grocery stores on the same block and across the street. Their rooftop restaurant offers a great view of the Acropolis and excellent food and beverages! Will absolutely book again in the future.

Pros: Very clean and well maintained, good breakfast, breakfast crew were nice. Very nice rooftop bar overlooking the city. Cons: The majority of the staff were not friendly! except for one man at the desk and one older women. I heard a female front desk staff say "stupid tourists"! In Greek! No pool or hot tub. The rooms are small. The surrounding area is scary. An enormous amount of grafiti on the buildings. This made us feel very unsafe. A block away we were told is the worst section of the city!

Clean, but very dated. Old carpet, comforters, furniture, and bathrooms. Could use some updates. Decent breakfast, and only one friendly employee. The front office young lady that checked us in was very unfriendly. And she never made eye contact the rest of our stay.

Apart from the location, the high standard of service and the rooftop view. This hotel maybe a little of the older side, but it's clean and well maintained. The staff do an excellent job in catering to any need.
