I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times. Always enjoy the view. Located close to all your needs. Rooms have been refreshed since my last stay which made the stay that much more enjoyable.

The room quality does not match the rest of the hotel. Worst bed I have ever slept, hard mattress, sheets are rough. You can hear everything in this hotel including people talking, walking around and doors closing. There is also a bar that blares music until 2 am and it rattles the walls. We had to leave the TV on all night to try to drown out the noise. We were on the 5th floor and could also hear drunk people screaming and talking like they were standing on our balcony. We would have been better off staying at a Motel 6. There is also no signage on the outside of the building when you arrive. The only good things about the hotel are the location is steps from the water, the lobby is newly updated and the restaurant has decent food and amazing views.

Great location with adequate facilities
Just doesn't have that 4 star feel - eg has blinds but they don't meet so room darkening is limited.
Not worth the money for me

Had a beautiful suite in the west building overlooking the lake. The room was fantastic! Service was excellent. Hotel also had a good restaurant and bar on-site. Being on the waterfront, we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. We were hoping for a nice relaxing stay as it was our first night away from our baby in 8 months. The first night, there was a dog barking until 2am. The second night there was a bar right below us playing extremely loud music, which was vibrating our room until 2am. We complained upon checkout, the girl at the desk stated “we get that complaint a lot, and try not to put people in those rooms unless we are full and have to”. If we would have known this, we would have booked else where. We were told “next time request a room on a different floor”. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone if you are looking for a quiet relaxing night away.

I feel the rooms are quite outdated, not particularly clean considering the price you have to pay. Our fridge was not cleaned properly when we arrived. Also the noise outside our room because of the patio bar open to 12 was not ideal.

Location is excellent, beach is awesome, restaurants were great as well

Great location, friendly staff, loved the beach and dog friendly patio. We will be back again.

We had a great stay as always, perfect location with friendly staff!

Great lakeside property. Convenient to town.

The room was not very clean, the bed pillows were dirty, had an unpleasant smell of not being laundered.
Very noisy, music blaring until 2:00 am making it difficult to sleep. Staff poorly trained, giving the impression of being disinterested.

Great resort. Lovely staff. Clean. Loved the gym and private beach! Beds could be comfier but still slept well

didn't like the extra charge for parking, and not advised of it when checking in. Otherwise, a great experience

I enjoyed the area and being on the lake. Beautiful views. Staff were a little unfriendly, especially at the frint desk. Saphire at the front desk was very nice though. But the kitchens in the restaurant and pub said they couldn't safely accomodate my food allergies. The breakfast restaurant did accomodate and the chef said they would make sure to keep it safe for me.

I love that they allow pets and i lived the location

Always a wonderful experience at this hotel. Bathrooms are a little dated and nothing fancy but the experience wind every time. The private beach with chairs and food/drink service is a huge bonus.

Great stay overall - We were above the night club and were told in advance that it's noisy but honestly, it was not that bad at all! A little pricey - but if sharing the cost with friends it's doable.
Have to get there early (to the beach) to get a lounge chair, if not then bring a chair.

the atmosphere and private beach was fantastic I will recommend to whoever I know.

This property is located on the shore of lake okanagan in downtown penticton. There are many restaurants, bars and shops all wiyhin a waljable distance. For those not wanting to walk far thd hotel has 2 restaurants. Our only complaint would be that the hotel bar is very popular on the weekends and as a resultis very loud. I would understand if this was the case until one bug on Friday night of our stay the craxy boom box noise went on until 3 AM. This is not very considerate of guests that are not partying in the bar. However from sunday to thursday the noise level is fine. We liked that the hotel gave 15$ coupons to use in the restaurants if you did not want your room cleaned. Yhis was our 4th stay and we would definitely return.

Lovely place. Would stay again.

Great experience! Would go back again

Air conditioning in the rooms was super old and kept cutting out on us. The food was breakfast at the cafe was awful and burger from the barking parrot looked like and tasted like it was microwaved. Over priced stay for a mid quality hotel. Area is great and having the beach resort was amazing though, but they could use some upgrades.
4.2
Good over all. Disappointed hot tub jets not working, ice machine on my floor out of order. It’s FONDO weekend! Other than that a pleased stay, location on lake is great!

Had a great time in Penticton. Hotel was clean and, critically, cool at an extremely hot time. I will note that the room probably was in need of updating as it's in the older part of the hotel. Also,

This property charges you extra on checkout for parking

Always had a fresh full supply of infused water with strawberries, lemon, cucumber, lemon, etc. a very nice touch to have during the hot summer! Always plenty of towels for the private beach area.

good enough

Located right at the lake. Area is convenient . Has its own private beach but one thing to note the beach is next to a dog park and it's murky it's better to go to the Okanagan beach which is a 5 min walk.
Also on our stay only one functioning elevator we had to take the stairs as wait times is long .

Had a great time
Will definitely be back 🤗

We loved the location, which was central to everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful and They even provided us with an extra room to store our e-bikes. We sat out on the facility’s private beach on the provided lawn chairs and watched the sunset. Was Georgias!
Two thumbs up!

Love the area. The hotel is close to everything.beautiful renovation in lobby.
Our room needs moreupdated features for the price though. But we overall clean and comfortable.

The food service was very slow at the restaurant, on both nights we attended. Over all this resort is not good value. We paid over $450 including tax. Too expensive for this 3 star place.
4.2
The rooms especially the bathroom was old, with broken dirty tile. There were no in house restaurants, there had been a fire in the kitchen but nothing done for people staying at the hotel and the other restaurant had an hour and a half wait; the hotel was noisy with people yelling across the street in the park. When I complained at the front desk, there was no apology only 'we dont control the park'. I paid top rates for a hotel that at best is a c class hotel. Would never stay there again. Also the front desk said they would have the manager phone me, he or she never did.

Lake view was awesome

Lobby and majority of property in excellent condition. We were on the second floor and very close to where the club was so we heard something through early hours of the morning. We also noticed that the beds themselves the mattresses were slightly lumpy definitely a little older. And for me, the showerhead was a foot too short.

Always our go-to when staying in Penticton. Great property, walking distance to everything we need.
