Great location for visiting Nimes for a few days. Very comfortable hotel but our room was a little small and had too much furniture for the space. Also there was nowhere to store our bags. Service in the restaurant was slow but that seems to be a feature of eating out in France. Staff were helpful and many had good English which was great because our French was very rusty.

The hotel is wonderful - full off character and charm but still offering all the modern comforts. Location is perfect - easy walking distance to sights and restaurants. The staff were very professional and Pierre was exceptional. He welcomed us to the hotel with a huge smile and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We just had a fabulous time in Nimes and loved staying at the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Spent 5 nights here on a work trip. The hotel itself is excellent. It's clean, well maintained and the staff are brilliant. My room was a decent size, and very very comfortable. The food was very good and the room service prompt and courteous. Excellent hotel.

We loved the hotel. The reception staff were excellent - particularly Clemence - and the arrangements for parking were also excellent. However the service for food in the bar area in the evening was slow and the choice of snacks was very limited.

Amazing property!!! General manager was checking on us every day!!! Super clean, modern. Got a welcome pastry in the room and violet refreshing drink as we checked in!! The drinks are out of this world!!!Amazing staff!!! our 13- and 16-years boys had so much fun in the pools. the complementary candies in the lobby were a big hit. had dinner in the restaurant- amazing!!!super convenient and quiet location. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!!!

Hotel L’Imperator Nîmes set high expectations and did not disappoint. We stayed there, dined there, and hosted a party there. The hotel staff executed very well in all regards. They also helped with dinner reservations, tours/trips, taxis, etc., and we used the outdoor pool and the indoor spa. It’s a great location for seeing the nearby Fountain Gardens, and the Coliseum is maybe a 10-minute walk. We only have one suggestion, and that would be to have a more responsive late night entry procedure for hotel guests to avoid standing outside for 20 minutes awaiting re-entry. We unreservedly recommend the property to travelers!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mason Albar . Everything apart from the food was ok , Issues with room service food quality were there and they were resolved. But we couldn’t eat it . I suppose hospitality is suffering from lack of staff . But it is an overall beautiful property in an excellent location and Jerome the GM was very caring and attentive at all times. Thank you all.

It’s our second visit to this beautiful hotel. We have loved it as much. The pool is stunning, room very comfortable and staff is amazing. Also very central to visit Nîmes or find great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Excellent location to walk to restaurants and shopping in center of Nimes. Completely renovated hotel with modern, elegant bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and such a friendly and helpful staff. Superb hair dryer, candy bar in lobby and beautiful place to be.

This was an absolutely wonderful experience.The staff so helpful and nice. The lobby, bar and restaurant had fun decor relating to the history of hotel and area. Someday I want to return to Nimes and see a show at the Roman amphitheatre.

This hotel is elegant, like a beautiful older person who still maintains a sense of style and dignity. I understand that we checked out on the last day the hotel was to be opened as it is closing down for two years in order to do a complete renovation. I think it is timely, as the hotel, though beautiful, was a bit worn down and tired. I look forward to coming back in a few years to experience the new hotel and of course, Nimes!

Great location and service. Vlet parking so no need to worry nout the car. Lots if charm. Clean and large rooms. Hotel needs updating. Rooms are a bit dingy and power went out twice while we were there so couldnt use the only elevator. Could be a stunning hotel with updates.

Property is beautiful in a great location. The staff range from polite to indifferent. The rooms are very dated and the carpets were stained and worn. This hotel is a three star.

We stayed here for three days. The location is excellent. The hotel was obviously a grand hotel in the past, but is a little tired now. The carpet in our bedroom was stained and the room smelt musty. It all needs updating. The breakfast, served in a beautiful courtyard, was excellent and worth the price. There is much potential for this hotel to be wonderful again, and we did enjoy beautiful Nîmes.

Very comfortable stay. The breakfast was not as special as we had hoped so skipped it the second day. The menu for the restaurant did not look particularly attractive so eat out therefore we have not formed an opinion of either service or quality of food.
