Property felt very clean and well presented . Unfortunately the aircon wasn’t great and the room was quite warm

Great price close to geneva

Accommodating, friendly staff, provided great service in setting up the crib for our granddaughter. Had a great family meal in the hotel restaurant prepared by chef.

The bed cover and pillow were smelling very bad and they didn’t replace them as asked (probably changed only the sheets).
Anyway they emitted a small partial refund.
The chairs outside are and stay dirty…

Friendly staff, the room was clean and modern. There was a pool, free parking, and maybe a 30 minute drive to Annecy, and a bit less to Geneva. The breakfast was good too.

Very nice hotel with great staff and location.
The lobby is beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean and modern.
Its a huge pluss that they have free parking right outside the entrance of the hotel.

This is one of the most charming, welcoming hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The lobby has a large firepit that smells amazing when you walk in. There’s a brilliant restaurant on-site with delicious, affordable food that can even be ordered via room service. The receptionist was so kind and friendly, spoke excellent English and was very sweet to our dogs. The only potential downside I can think of is that it’s rather close to the highway, but we weren’t bothered by any noise. It was actually convenient since we were passing through on a road trip.

Friendly stuff, good location and clean

Good hotel, clean and quiet, recommend

Apart of loud party in the next room, and sleepless night, hotel is nice clean cozy and in good location
3.8
Very noisy hotel as there were no insulation
Impossible to adjust the temperature and we slept at 25 degrees which too much
Do not open the windows if not you will sleep on the motorway
Except that the team is excellent and always at your service
3.8
Excellent cleanliness in the room and common areas. Friendly staff. Good food for dinner (with Covid restrictions, you have to collect your food in the restaurant to bring back to your room).
Bed was comfortable and room was very quiet.

The Mercure in Annemasse is ideally situated for visiting Geneva, being just off the motorway, and yet in a relatively quiet spot. There’s plenty of secure parking within the hotel grounds. As I didn’t want to take my car into the city, I decided to go on foot to the border and the number 12 tram, an easy 20 minute walk.
The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was pleasantly quiet with a nice outlook.
Quite unusually there was a power cut when I returned one evening, something which was beyond the control of the hotel. However, the very pleasant staff were on hand with torches and candles, and everything was under control.
The breakfast area was roomy and bright, and the choice from the buffet was excellent.
To summarise, I was more than happy with my stay, and would use the hotel again whenever I’m visiting the area in future.

Room hair dryer wasn’t working. Got another finally but with only one person on duty at desk it took a while.

The hotel didn’t say in the advert that they were doing refurbishment so all the hotel was a big mess everywhere with super rude staff
3.8
We have stayed at Mercure annemase before they star refurbishing . Over all hotel is good for a couple of nights . Our reason was we were on the road on our journey.
Hotel has not finished refurbishment yet. Price was bit high for budget hotel.

Lovely receptionists. Very accommodating with getting our room ready after turning up early.

Stayed for two nights while attending Vitafoods Europe show in Geneva, nice hotel but sadly I didnt quite realize that it was 30 min taxi drive from the Airport and Palexpo Centre, but thats my fault. Apart from that I cant fault the hotel. Its not plush by any means, its basic but it did not cost much, so you get what you pay for.

This was the typical experience I expect of a Mercure hotel. Clean, tidy rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. No drama or mistakes. The location was central to all the roads, and just a 10 minute drive over the border into Geneva (the hotel is on the France side). Very near to several shops and restaurants, and we had a really fun dinner at the grill across the parking lot. All in all, it was just a one night stay en route to Paris, and we all got good, sound rest and relaxation.

Hi. I booked one night in Mercure Annemasse Porte de Genève hotel, but I didnt stay there for 2 nights & lost my money for the second night because of Expedia big mistake of putting the hotel in Geneva / Switzerland hotels while its in France.I expect an apology, my money back & compensation of 731 Euro paid for one night in Hotel de la Paix Genève when I arrived really tired and couldnt find any hotel while searching with my wife and 4 years daughter using a taxi.
3.8
Looks terrible on approach but was really pleasantly surprised. good value for money and very'new' looking inside, must have been refurbished recently(yet to do outside though) Stayed enroute to Geneva. conveniently located near the main road but not close enough that you're disturbed by traffi. about half an hour from Geneva. Would definitely recommend.

Warm welcome on arrival, comfortable room, good breakfast, poor evening meals.

I would recommend all of u to book this hotel it's really nice

I should better study the map..:)
The hotel is quite clean, reasonable.. but it is in France, out of Geneva, not a close as it is presented. Using taxi makes stay rather expensive...
We used public transport (regional bus 61, say 20-25 minutes by walk from the hotel), takes another 20-30 minutes to Geneva. Ticket to Geneva you pay in euro with bus driver (4e) on way back you have to buy a ticket in a machine using Swiss franks (or a credit card.. which is not the option over the weekend)...
If you do not speak French, it could be a bit complicated.. We were leaving early morning, night receptionist does not speak any English.. Hopefully we arranged everything in advance, including pay and taxi (highly recommended).
One more observations... Hotel taxi service belongs to most expensive around... When we took airport taxi, even with searching for the hotel we paid 70 Swiss franks. The other way by hotel called taxi costs us 100 euros. Note that euro is 1.22 SF, which makes the 122 compare to 70 we pay on way there..
However, weather was nice, my wife was happy so why to make a noise, right? But be aware of it..

The bathroom was pretty tired - the shower screen leaked water all over the floor and there was a hole in the wall where the sink surface met the wall, as a result of water.
Otherwise, quite willing staff and not badly situated. The food was ok too.

They charged me $30USD for a breakfast I never got. They ignored me repeated when I said I never got a breakfast. They can look at their security cameras and see I never got any such breakfast. Worst hotel ever.
