This hotel exceeded our every expectation. Perfect location, walk to everything including the train station, shopping, sights and restaurants. The room was spacious even by US Standards, with comfortable beds and sofa. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was very helpful. We will be back and we will recommend this hotel as a great hotel and great value in Zurich.

**Review of Best Western Plus Hotel Zürcherhof** My experience at the Best Western Plus Hotel Zürcherhof was quite pleasant. The standout feature was the friendly and attentive staff – from the warm reception during check-in to the courteous restaurant and housekeeping team, everyone made sure I felt welcome. A nice touch was the complimentary water, beer, and a selection of soft drinks provided in the mini-bar, which added value and convenience to the stay. That said, the hotel could use some updates to its infrastructure. There were a few issues, such as loose latches in the bathroom and some chipped corners in the room, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. Despite these minor maintenance concerns, the welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful perks, and excellent service make it a good option for a stay in Zurich. With a bit of attention to detail, it could be even better!

Room’s condition and cleanliness wasn’t great. The room was a bit noisy from the street below. You had sex workers In the corner of the street, just near the hotel entrance.

The hotel was an easy walk from the main train station, though there is an uphill/cobblestone section to get to the hotel. All the staff at the hotel were very nice. They had free water in the lobby along with free ice cream, all different flavors. It was fun to pick a new flavor after getting back each night. The mini bar in the room was also free and you could sign up to get free bottles of wine if you didn’t have your room cleaned that day. There is free breakfast which was good and saved money from eating out. The room can get a little stuffy but opening the windows solved that. It wasn’t too hot out but there is a fan in the room. We were on the 1st floor (2nd for us Americans) and it wasn’t loud. The windows blocked a lot of noise. There is also an elevator though it won’t fit more than two people and two medium sized bags. If I come back to Zurich I am definitely going to stay at this hotel. The location is great, near different tram stops and the main train station, the staff friendly, and the rooms nice.

Stayed here overnight before our flight from Zurich Airport. Very close to the Hauptbahnhof, so ideal on that front. Otherwise this hotel was excellent. The people who work here are brilliant. So helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was superb. Lots of choice and the cooked to order eggs were delicious. Ruhrei with herbs is a particular favourite of mine. My wife's soft boiled egg was cooked to perfection too.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zucherhof. Ideal location being around a ten minute walk from the station and around a15 minutes walk to the lake. Just back from one of the main thoroughfares on a fately quiet street. Lots of eating options in close proximity to the hotel All the hotel staff were very helpful explaining about the free water and ice cream in reception(always welcome) to the ladies at breakfast. Breakfast provides plenty of options including cooked to order omelettes and other egg options. The rooms are good(no aircon but fan provided) the only slight downside for me was the lift but that didn't detract from our stay.

No air conditioning. Mobile AC in room did not work. Room was extremely warm even with electric fans going. A lot of loud and continuous street noise all night long. Church bells ringing every hour and half hour. Not able to sleep.

It was noisy with windows open at night - found out on on Gooogle that city allowed prostitution being allowed on street intersection where hotel was from 10-2 . Didn’t bother me much except for the noise.

Relatively comfy beds for Europe. AC is a tiny unit on wheels in the room that is not turned on beforehand. Made it hard to sleep because it was so warm. Street below was cute but a few bars in the area made it a little loud in the evening. Breakfast very yummy and good service

Easy to get to from train station. Very easy check in, clean hotel rooms, variety of items for breakfast. The mini fridge with complimentary drinks was a nice touch and convenient to have. Would definitely stay again!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room. Great location near Limmat River and old town Zurich. Large room compared to others European hotels. Free breakfast, free mini bar. A short walk from the major train station and tourist bus link.

Overall it was a great hotel in a very walkable location with lots of restaurants, stores, train station and busses nearby. There were many free things in the lobby (ice cream, candy, coffee, water) and the stocked mini fridge in the room was also full of free items (waters, sodas, beer). It was a very modern and nice looking room. The bathroom mirror was too high for shorter people.

The property was nice, free breakfast was good, complimentary water and ice cream. However, if you are traveling in the summer just note that there is no air conditioning. Although there are 2 fans in the room, the room temp was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom which would have helped somewhat with the heat.

Extremely poor internet connection. Takes a long time to get connected. Once connected, it gets disconnected every 2 minutes, forcing me to start the long connecting process again and again. Worst internet problem I experienced in the last 5 years at least. Also, one should pay attention to NO AC. It is included in the description of the hotel. But, I failed to notice it when making a reservation. A costly mistake that forced me to take a cold shower 2 times every night to cool myself to get sleep. Bright side: location.

Room was small and stuffy with a fan, no air conditioning. There is towel, hand towel and face cloth with toiletries included. Walls are thin so can hear other guests checking out by closing the door at 3am, 4am etc. There is a kettle and tea and coffee packets in the room and was able to check-in at 1pm. Its located in the old part of town so its close to many restaurants and Limmat River. There is a free mini-bar and free breakfast as well.

Check in was a breeze. We walked over from the train station and checked in very quickly so we could drop our bags and grab some dinner. The room was perfect for just two of us and it was nice and clean. I appreciated having a fan and an air conditioner in the room as well. The breakfast in the morning was very good with quite a few option to choose from, and you could order eggs/omelets. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back.

Terrific location, walkable to everything. Some late night street noise but nothing that was not expected for a busy area. Super helpful and friendly staff. Great selection for the breakfast. Superior to US breakfasts at US BW hotels. Would highly recommend. They do need to install better AC systems- window venting is not up to today’s expectations.

Small, 3 star property is well located in old town but suffers from small rooms without air conditioning and uncomfortable, lumpy beds. Front desk staff were friendly and price reasonable for Zurich but probably better value for money to be found elsewhere.

I liked everything except the fact they don't have central air conditioning. People traveling from the USA should be aware of this. They do have portable air conditioning but you must request it. They just don't give it to you. The portable air conditioning did worked for us.
