The stay was okay but the room was cold and bath tub did not work very well because the water barely came out.
0.5
The whole place needs major updates or shut down. The ac/ furnace didn't work properly and wasn't installed correctly. The bathtubs had cracks and holes in them. Pool was closed and the breakfast was horrible.

Building needs to be torn down. Hasn't been updated since the 80's. Cracked floors, walls, ceilings. Shower tub has patch work. Whole building is horrible especially for that price!

Customer service was great.

The outside looks very dated, paint is peeling off building, and there isn’t a typical door arch for if it’s raining. Just a door that’s flush against the building. I wasn’t even sure the place was open. But sometimes the outside is misleading.
Going inside, They had modernized the desk area, which made me feel better about the booking. Person at desk was friendly. First issue: no elevator at the entrance. I had to take luggage up two flights of stairs, and they were painted brown, an obvious safety hazard if you can’t see well in the dark. Person at desk said there was an elevator at the back of the hotel.
The room I was given looked good at first, they’d modernized the sink and furniture, but the tub metal fixture was rusty. The tub itself had standing water in it and wasn’t draining. I went down the long stairs and asked for another room. Person at desk was friendly and got me another without issue.
Second room was better, no rusty tub metal, furnishings were new looking. TV was on when I got there, and I got the remote to shut it off. It kept turning back on until I felt underneath the TV and turned it off manually: minor. Bed was much more firm than expected, but after over 700 miles, it didn’t bother me. It was smoke free as advertised, and bedding was clean.
The free breakfast is very spartan, nothing made fresh. I saw cereal, juice, a waffle machine, toast / bagels and yogurt. Two yogurts and an orange juice were good enough for me.

Outside of building and hallways need cleaned up and updated. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had trouble getting the door to our room opened and closed. At one point I was trapped inside the room and my spouse outside the room. Luckily maintenance was on site and made a temporary fix to the door. It was ok but we will probably not stay here again.

At the first sight of this property, we weren't sure if it was open or closed. It was hard to determine the location of the main entrance. There was no awning or porte-cochere indicating the entrance. The exterior of the building needed paint touchups and there were weeds present at the base of the building. The pavement was full of potholes. The main "foyer" area of the building looked like the photos, but you could tell it was an older property that hadn't been maintained well. There was paint peeling and cracked tiles. The desk agent was friendly. Check-in went well. The hallway carpet was stained but the room was clean and tidy. If I hadn't already paid for the room, I would have canceled the booking upon first sight. You would think a Windham property would be better maintained. The exterior appearance is why I gave it 2 stars.

Room was clean and staff was friendly

Rooms and other areas are clean. Staff is nice and polite! Hotel needs updated and needs elevator instead of steps everywhere. Parking lot is small not enough parking if hotel is filled up. Parking lot has a lot of big holes in it could damage a person’s vehicle. But I understand all this takes alot of money most businesses don’t have

The one staff person I talked to was very nice. Did not try their breakfast. Looked at pool, but it appeared to be closed.
This place is a 50 to 60 year old dump. I think the room was clean, but so dingy/dark couldn't really tell. 1 elevator not central to anything, especially odd numbered rooms (you read that right). Light switches thatvled to no lights. Crappy little TV.
And a pretty new Best Western 500 feet away.
I read the provided description, but not the reviews... I find many reviews that contradict each other, have an obvious bone to pick, etc. My mistake!

Property is not kept clean, busted pipe flooded our bathroom, we were moved to another room. No elevators, carpets are stained, pot holes throughout the parking lot.

The entire property needs a remodel. I don’t know how the City of Kokomo is allowing a hospitality Service rendered by a filthy place like this hotel.
If Hotels.com won’t visit the place and boycot sending their guests until remodeled, then it’s as filthy as this place. The carpet was probably put in the year 1822.
The shower had hot water only running and at the highest temperature, the shower mob has black molds, the ceiling has black spots and water damages, the shower tab was slippery - a sign that it isn’t washed properly. The list can go on and on and on and on.
I have been trying to reserve my room on the option of “pay upon arrival” and Hotels.com run the credit card a day before I arrived. Probably you guys already know the condition of these places and you are worried there will be a lot of cancellations. I AM IN DISGUST!

Many signs of wear in the hotel. Could be cleaner, especially in public areas. Bed hard for our comfort. Breakfast sparse compared to other hotels with continental breakfasts we have stayed in. Whenever we return to Kokomo we will stay elsewhete

At least the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable but this property is 10 years past the need of a thorough updating.

A bit out of date but was clean, staff was nice and fair price. I would stay again

This place was a big disappointment! Most Baymont’s are very nice. This place was very bad. The room we were given was a long walk from the elevator and my husband was having heart pains by the time we reached the room. On the positive side the bed was comfortable and the towels were very nice. The place was hard to find due to there not being a sign to show where it was located. The staff was pleasant and friendly but the other problems will keep me from staying there again.

The building was unmarked, no signs on the building or out front. . We drove around the building 3 times through the broken up parking lot trying to determine if the facility was open or abandoned. Really, no sign ? Not even a banner identifying the front door?
Not up to any standards. Did not check in.

Let me start by saying we are not that pay $130/ night for a room and expect a $500/night experience. That being said, this hotel is not suitable for a raccoon, it was absolutely filthy around the grounds, the carpet, the stairs. It was literally disgusting.
On top of all that, the description states hot breakfast, from what i saw, they only offer waffles and cold cereals, but on this day there just so happen to be nothing at 9am...not sure if they ran out or what. The pool is supposed to open at 9am, but at 10am was closed....this place was just awful.

Hallways and carpet looked out dated and dirty

The stay was horrible and not clean and I didn’t feel safe so I left it was under construction and it needs to be condemned. Looks like the hotel out of a scary movie don’t recommend staying there

Daylight basement room felt like a dungeon at the end of a long, dim hallway. Layout from lobby required creepy walk to rooms, parking lot basically the cratered moon's surface. Holes in walls, TV laughably small and without most channels. Almost left early out of fear/discomfort.

The property was old and outdated needs renovation top to bottom
Parking lot was trash had pot holes inside everything was old needs renovation or just tear the place down and new
1.5
The room was large and comfortable but there was a ton of mold in the restroom ceiling. The hotel is older and could use some updates

Hotel was very dirty, ants in the shower, full size bed instead of queen as advertised, hotel renovation, no signage on front of hotel, covered entry was removed, in wall AC until was duck taped to the wall.

They said the hotel had a elevator but they put us in the basement. So we had to go downstairs in order to get to our room which means we had to pack all oliver stuff down a flight of stairs. Also we encountered some issues in our room while we were there. One.We had no water pressure in the sink which I took a video of. 2, we had no shower curtain the next morning.I had to go down and retrieve one and put it up myself. 3, they said there is no smoking in the room. When my husband moved the chair there was a cigarette butt under the chair which did not belong to us. 4, there was comforter.
Put her on the bed if it was a comforter. It looked like a sheet so we had to cover it up with that all night. And finally of course last but not least the air conditioner /heater Did not work properly in the room. It was after midnight before we even went to bed. And the lady asks us the next morning why we did not come down to say something to them, and they would have fixed it. Well then, it would have before we went to bed and we would have not gotten any sleep. While they fixed the unit or they would have moved us to a different Room
If available. Which I believe was not available due to the fact that every parking lot was act when we got there. Also, when we went to bring all of our stuff in. We were not told about the side entrance. And we had to walk between 2 people standing outside at the door bringing our stuff in that were smokin at the door which were not 8 feet from the door.

I have stayed here twice. This time the pool was not open.

The only thing I liked about this property was the name of the hotel, which is the only reason I chose to stay there. Baymont should really take a look at this place and remove there name, because now all the Baymonts I consider staying in will remind me of this nasty disgusting shell of a hotel

When I think of a Baymont Hotel, I think of a mid range hotel with comfort and cleanliness. However, that was not my experience with this Baymont. The outside looks run down with a parking lot littered with pot holes. The bench outside was so rusted at the legs, it almost broke when my mother sat down. The pool was closed due to the heater being out. The room was extremely outdated with peeling walls, broken lights, and a stench so bad we thought someone took a fat one before we got there. We ended up getting another hotel room somewhere else. To put it in perspective, upon departure, we debated on getting a tetanus shot. If you plan on keeping the hotel in this shape, lower your prices dramatically as this is not a $135 a night room.

Pool not functional...we had five children... never would have booked there if we had known. Lobby and rest of the common areas decent but the rest of hotel needs to be seriously upgraded ( including the parking lot) or closed down.

Pictures posted on Google were vastly different from what I witnessed. Bathroom had damage and surrounding property made it seem like it had been abandoned. Stayed only an hour.

The property was disgusting. Filthy.

Pool was shutdown. Dirty and in disrepair throughout facility.

I was unhappy to hear the pool was not working after I had previously been told it was repaired. The guest services lady was nice and apologized, but it was a central point of my plans during the stay.

Found a bedbug in my room
4.0
Limited breakfast. Mostly carbs.
Room was not exceptionally clean, but it was not filthy either. I think the fact that it was very old with many re-paints, may have impacted the image. No real complaints. We slept good, beds and pillows were comfortable, surroundings were quiet. It was fine.
2.5
Trip was great the place was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great place to relax. The only I would suggest is more parking in the back. Overall its a great place

The bathroom and especially the shower was in great deterioration. The bed was not a king size even though I paid for a king suit. I will never stay here again.

The hotel is out dated and old smells bad walls are missing paint weak spots in the flooring just walking down hall ways one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and the online pictures are nothing like the real place.

Rate was a positive. Hotel is dated and starting to show its age
