The rooms need updating. They smell wet covered up with deodorizer. Restaurants and bars are beautiful. Pools could use a facelift. Staff are very kind and helpful.

The cabin was adequate, wished we had a better view, the checkon was longer than expected it was 30 minutes wait time for thr one person at the dedk us in at 4 pm, at check-in time should have had more than one person attending the desk. The one person at the desk, was polite.

The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfy. Only had one night here but would return again to properly explore. The grounds are pretty.

Always fun here. Had a bad first day because remote control stopped working twice and coffee machine was broke. Had to go to front desk 3 times to get some help finally. Took 8 hours to resolve. Come 1-2 times a year and never had any problems until this visit. Don't want to discourage because staff is friendly, just saying change rooms if you have any issues.

Main part of resort lobby was fresh and nice. Outside buildings and surrounding areas somewhat in disrepair. Expensive to dine/drink compared to other local restaurants. Walls thin. Could hear people walking above us as well as the TV and conversations in the neighboring room. Asked for towels but they never came. The workers drove golf carts around at a high speed considering there were people and children everywhere.

Newly renovation, clean, and comfortable beds.

This hotel has multiple buildings and unless you ask specifically which one you want, they can put you in the dumpiest room. The photos they have on their website are of the nicest building. The rest are very aged. Our room was subpar. The door, as another guest mentioned, is messed up and allows absolutely no privacy. There was a guy outside of our room listening to our conversation as we were leaving because he was literally just standing there as we came out. The lake view is nice except that you cannot sit out on the desk because it’s infested with POISONOUS spiders. There were easily more than 10 hanging all over outside. As such a large hotel, you’d think they would spray regularly for their guests safety. We booked a 1 bed king over Expedia and got a 2 bed king when we showed up. When we talked to the front desk, they gave us a script about how horrible Expedia was. Really? Because I travel for work regularly and have NEVER had one issue until this hotel. The charges for the room were all messed up as well. The Keurig coffee maker in the room doesn’t work. Seems convenient since they have a coffee shop on the same floor. I tried it 4 times; it doesn’t work and has clear instructions on how to use it. At check-out, we were told they couldn’t print a receipt because it would be “blank” and that Expedia would email me a receipt. Never got one. The hotel is more than capable of printing a receipt in 2024 and should not be totally reliant on an outside company to do that.

We got to the resort early and did a pre-check in. We got a text 10 minutes later saying our room was ready. We went and got the keys, however when we got to the room it had not been cleaned yet. We called and told them it hadn’t been cleaned. They were very nice about it and gave us an upgrade to a suite. They were extremely nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic stay. Something for everyone to do.

The resort is a fine place to stay and hang out, but anyone can come and use the pools and facilities so not sure why there is a resort fee. It is also very outdated and seems not maintained like most Margaritaville resorts we have stayed at. My sons wanted to fish, which was a main reason for coming, and there is only one fishing dock and a boat parked there most the time so there wasn’t any room to fish. The pools are great but so crowded because they are open to anyone who wants to drive up in a car or boat. The food is ok but not worth the price. They do have an arcade, bowling and pool for kids which is nice. Overall it was just ok but definitely not worth the price.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We miss having room service. Shuttles were a must as property is spread out and very hilly.

Great place to take the grandkids for a few days. Plenty of things to do at the resort and within a short drive. We have been going there for several years and I think this year we had the best service yet. From waiters to housekeeping we had a good experience.

Property needs updated, dining costs are rather high considering portions you receive.

My family of 5 just recently took a quick vacation to Margaritaville and we were so pleased! The beds and room were perfect! Clean and comfortable! The staff was beyond accommodating! We spent most of our time in the pool and the kids had such a blast! We loved eating at Landshark for a quick lunch and didn’t have to drive! Also, I lost a souvenir I had bought and the staff quickly was willing to replace! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great family trip!!
