I didn't actually stay the night in the end after checking in and going to the room it was clear the hotel needs alot of work it's old dirty everything is dusty or covered on marks honestly the single worst hotel experience I have ever had I actually couldn't bring myself to stay I then booked into the Travelodge up the road

Awful
This is a grotty hotel and is used as a homeless housing placement -
People have to live somewhere but this hotel shouldn’t be sold as a 3 star with restaurant and bar and there isn’t either.
A bit of an experience and didn’t feel safe tbh

Unclean, smelt profusely bad and no facilities was usable. Very disappointed in the hotel as online it appeared exquisite.
Could not get a drink or a meal. All closed when i returned from the hospital at 9pm
No staff around. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. The bedding was soiled and also the towels. The hotel smelt very foisty

I ought to say at the outset that the staff at this hotel were excellent. That being said, whilst it was very cheap, (I really had no option other than to stay here due to the coronavirus issue), everything else was disappointing. The hotel is very "tired" and tatty. I had what was called a "luxury" room. It wasn't. It was small, very dusty and there were greasy stains on the wall. The carpet was frayed and held together by gaffer tape. There was no plug in the sink and the towels had seen better days. The worst aspect was the noise however both from outside and especially inside the hotel.

Cutlery was dirty, never given replacement..room was dusty lucky had disinfectant wipes to clean over, air conditioner not working ..people smoking weed under window smell coming into room when open

Extremely poor attitude of staff. Room booked by NHS for support eorking staff due to covid. Made to wait for 2 hours after a tiresome shift, eventually had to rebook as they were unable to sort and cancelled the first booking. So much for nationwide news about hotels supporting nhs. Requested tajeaway food to be delivered from reception which was agreed but failed. So was tired, could not sleep enough and left hungry, ready for the next shift in 6 hours. Phones dont work, so have to walk to reception even for simple queries. Poor and worned out fixtures. Not even a spoon to stir a cup of tea. I am surprised these places can still function in UK. 2 words, never ever.

It’s unique because it offers low cost, affordable rooms which are more than adequate for business travelling on a tight budget

Friendly and welcoming team, good location, plenty of free parking space, feel safe as a solo traveller

Old property desperately needs a refurbishment- windows don’t fit the room properly so very noisy from the street. Rubbish in the hallway and dirt all up the walls. Glad I only stayed one night!

This hotel is what it is , no frills and affordable. Over all for what I paid I can’t complain but don’t book with high expectations.
Has a place in the market and service that market very well .

It was a horrible hotel and so dirty

Photos shown on Hotels.com do not reflect rooms in person - uncomfortable, cold, mould, broken furnishings, shower not working. Was tired and late so had no alternative but to stay.

Stayed here for 1 night. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Window is our room was a serious health and safety concern as it spanned from my knee height to almost the ceiling. When slid open, it did not have any rails. Being on the 2nd floor, that is an accident waiting to happen.
Yes, it is a cheap hotel but I would not stay again.

adequately spacious, large window emanating brightness, helpful cleaners and "some" reception staff. But no net curtains.

I had nice experience with hotel staff they are more welcoming what I realised

The price was great the rooms and furnishings dated, the phone didn't work, the WiFi was appallingly slow. When wein a delux room I expect the phone to work, the toilet to flush ours didn't. The hot water was Luke warm, just a poor standard

Awesome clean friendly very close to town and the airport and great value

No heating in the room. Radiator not working, small heat not good, was given a fan heater which Dix warm the room, staff were lovely, the place just needs a bit of TLC, a lick of paint would probably do it.

Loud music playing below our family room until midnight. Not great. Allot of loud noises coming from the hotel car park & right outside the back door with use of foul language. Not fantastic atmosphere especially with young children. Did not feel that safe walking outside the property.

There was a problem with the television which did not work but for that I was offered breakfast.

It was a really nice stay for just the one night. Me and my friends thought it was a lovely big room for defo for the price it was suited for us. The food was okay and the drinks were good prices too. I would recommend to stay, but if you have a flight to catch then you need to get a taxi to and from the airport. It was definitely not walking distance from the airport. Overall a good hotel to stay at.

The sheets had been changed and the bathroom was clean but overall the room was grubby and the hotel looked tired and in desperate need of a refurb. But for the price, can’t really complain!

I had to open the window immediately after I entered the room as
someone had been smoking in the room that I had been allocated.

Stayed here a dozen times, its a bit dated and scruffy, which is to be expected for £40/50 p/night. But this visit was poor. Room 103. Two single beds pushed together and pillows were awful and gave me backache after two days. No plug in sink made shaving difficult. Shower temp hot or hotter, no downwards adjustment. Radiator on hot. Told maintenance would turn off. Despite further 3 requests, and duty manager with spanner, it remained on full, uncomfortably hot for both days.

Comfortable but could do more .
TV did not work nor the door keys causing considerable inconvenience

During my stay I could relax and enjoy a good sleep.
