Room was quite small we have never had a small room like it. There was like an inch gap under the door that let light in at night and hear everyone walking and talking. The area seemed safe.

We’ve stayed at this location twice to attend volleyball tournaments in the area. It was all we needed. Staff is super nice and remembered us from our first trip. This was a nice touch. The only thing that we had issue with was the fact that the shower had very low water pressure when it was on warm so my boys were not able to wash their hair

Got up at 630 and my shower had no water. Called and they had no solution to the problem. Breakfast was super minimal. Not many options. Disappointed in comparison to other breakfast.

This was always our "go-to" in Sacramento. Right next to a great restaurant (Brookfields) easy on/off on Hwy 50, and close to family. We stopped going during renovations, however just stayed there in Oct 2024, the rooms and service were amazing. Definitely going back to this being the "go-to" hotel again. Also, if you're in the mood for for some taco's/Mexican, Jimboy's just a few hundred feet away.

The sofa in the room I was in had an unknown stain on it, as well as at least one of the towels in the room also having a stain,. The room was pretty noisy from the local roads. Not very good sound insulation from that. Volume control on the TV did not work (tried both remotes in the room). Upon check-out, The front desk said they had no money in order to which to change a 20$ bill, (and were not too polite about it) which meant I had no smaller bill to leave a cleaning staff tip. So I was unable to offer the cleaners a gratuity.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean at first sight but both of our rooms had sofa beds that we were not able to use because first of all the mattresses were pretty old, stained and dirty (even a tissue thrown under one of the sofa) and there was not even extra sheets or covers to use with it. We checked all closets and drawers and couldn’t find an extra set. Probably would have had to go to reception to get them or call them, which is not conveniente when you arrive late at night and staff is not even in the reception anymore (policy of locking hotel gates after 10 pm for safety since staff is not readily available). Breakfast was okay but lacked flavor, however the kitchen ladies were helpful. Overall a good experience with the staff, but not with the facility conditions and hotels “perks”.

This property and Staff are the worst I've ever encountered. Firstly the rooms and bathrooms are old and filthy and nothing like the pictures on the site. The pool is filthy and unsafe. The ADA required lift was "Out of Order" which is a clear Code violation and created an unsafe condition. Also they allowed dogs in the pool and there was excrement on the deck next to the steps. The staff and the owner were rude and dismissive. This place should be shut down and the owner should be fined and prosecuted. I have filed complaints with the City will be following up with every social media source to make clear that La Quinta needs to shut this facility down immediately! There is more regarding the Staff and the owners treatment of paying customers but I'm saving that for my lawyer. Negative 100 out of 10!

I noticed some wear-and-tear in the bathroom and the elevator. Nothing that affected my enjoyment so I gave the place high marks, just signs that the place wasn't crisp or new. Location is good for business travelers.

Our room was old and run down. The people next to us were smoking weed and cigarettes and the ventilation system brought the smell into our room. They charged us 2 times on 2 different cards after a “misunderstanding” between what the manager had told me at check in and what the lady told me when we checked out. The manager is a nice guy but the stay was overpriced and trashy. We have always stayed here when visiting and will not return and will tell others to find better accommodations. Super.

Service, cleanliness, and breakfast was fantastic. Unfortunately what made our stay unpleasant towards the end was the fact that we were unable to get hot water from the shower in the morning before checking out. We called the front desk and were told to let the water run for five minutes and after 20 minutes, still no hot water. My boyfriend and I had to take turns helping each other shower using the ice bucket and hot water from the sink. Also, the a/c would not cool the room no matter how low the temperature was set. I would return but stay only after making sure that the a/c and hot water are available upon arriving.

I love the room I was in, but the mattress was to squeaky, the bathroom sink water was running slow. Their was no shower gel dispenser!! Breakfast this morning was good, but the apple juice & orange juice was warm I told the cook, the cook escorted me to the front desk. They said it was broken, my response was unplugged it, put a note on it and say not in used.

The property is cool but it’s a little dirty.The staff nice and accommodating but my room wasn’t the cleanest and smelled like pee. I bought Lysol and sanitized everything myself to make my stay better but if I have other options I will go with them first

Well, I had to work a full day and then drive three and a half hours down to Sac and was looking forward to a nice relaxing evening in the motel. I had already pre-registered and checked in online but when I got to the Motel the clerk pretty much had me check in again and I didn't even understand the point of checking in online which I won't do again. Then I finally get to my room and I walked in and realize it's a handicap room with a bathroom equipped for a wheelchair so the shower has absolutely no barrier and the water just flashes all over the bathroom floor which was not okay with me. I went back down talked to the clerk and all he told me was all the queen beds are handicapped rooms and I told him that that was not listed online and even showed him my reservation and it didn't say anything about handicapped room or I wouldn't have reserved it in the first place. I said do you have anything else and he goes no I don't and sorry there's nothing I can do. He said would you like me to check you out? Yeah, I just drove three and a half hours it's 9:30 at night and I have to get up early and I want to check out and go look for something else! I was not pleased to say the least because he didn't even try to rectify the situation by offering me a lower rate or anything like that but just asked again would you like me to check you out. So that was my experience.

What we didn’t like was that the swimming pool was closed the whole 4 days we were there, the water pressure was low it took a long time to shower. The breakfast was crowed with people the didn’t have a room there. I witnessed a gentleman make a plate full of waffles he stacked them in a plate put sausages in between his waffles to make sandwiches He had four plates covered with food, then he had the nerve to walk out the main entrance put the food in his black Jeep and drive off !!! How inconsiderate

Stained floor, lamp, shower tiles. Shower head not worked properly from day one. Smoking being allowed affecting corridor smell and the overall stay and rooms. Had to check 6 other rooms because of it. Sofa mattress over used, no extra sheet cover, and bed sheets, rooms smelled from pets and the smoking on second and third floor were consist with our stay, made the experiment worst Pool area and pool itself was completely different from the images presented. Pool was negated and not maintained. It looked like it’s been out of service and was dirty, couldn’t enjoy it and the staff also doesn’t inform guest as we asked for pool towels.
