Everything closed earlier at the resort, swim up bar, other bars and the complete resort. There was a lot of bugs in the room and large mosquitoes. The card readers weren't working also, it was my anniversary so I made sure things were open and the amenities were available before coming, I even called and verified. I asked for the manager upon check out, the manager didn't come out, offered the 50 resort back. It was a bad experience.

This trip was amazing. My daughter had a sleepover for her birthday, and this is the best experience she had. They were accommodated as well as the adults. I had an issue with the room, but they got right on it. I forgot the two guys names that were on the night shift, they were amazing. I seen that some people had issues with receiving towels, I can’t see why because we had more than enough. I rate this stay a 10 out of 10.

Came here for a few day getaway. We wanted to try something new. First appearance- it was clean. The self parking is around the corner and quite limited. Otherwise its 35$ a day for them to park your car. Check in was easy and quick. As we went to our room, our floor was being repainted. All you could smell was paint fumes. It gave me a headache so we had to immediately go outside. On to the pools. Lazy river is quite long. Only one tube can fit. Its slim. It was heated. There is a small kids area-which was cold. They have a huge slide but it was closed so we couldnt use it. The hot tub was quite hot. The bar was closed on this side. We went to the other side where theres an upper and lower pool. Neither are heated. The lower connects to a bar. There were so many mosquitos. We played some ping pong. Theres a bar over looking the lake. That was nice but the mosquitos were dreadful. They light the 2 fire pits at night even if you want to hang out there or do smores. You can rent a paddle boat. They have putt putt and a volleyball area. We were at the end of the hall so it was quiet for us. I give it 3 stars as its nothing nice but its not bad. Good for a weekend getaway but id call ahead to see if the slides and kid area is open before you go if you plan on taking the kids

It was a great weekend getaway! Quiet and great ambiance, however, the food was too overpriced for it to be regular bar food. Wish they can have a Mexican restaurant or better quality food for the price! However, overall everything else was great! I would go back.

We found a roach and ants in our first room. They initially offered us bug spray but then moved us. The next room had never been cleaned from previous guests. The bed wasn't made up, trash was in the room, the table was overturned. The third room was nice. We ordered food at a restaurant and then others came in, ordered, ate and left before we got our order. Ours was as cold as if it had been in the refrigerator- not sure if the wings weren't cooked through or if it was cold sauce they put on them. Hallways had the same trash in them for days. Never once saw housekeeping anywhere around.

I enjoyed the adult section of the property. The pool was very relaxing, having lounge chairs with umbrella was much appreciated. Food was good with a variety of selection. I would say the lazy river was relaxing and fun but the kids horseplay was a small take away. However i understand they are kids and want to have fun so I can’t complain about that. I do wish the lighting at night was better. Overall for a nice chill fun in the sun 10/10 recommend

Please make sure the restaurant is properly staffed! We had to wait an hour to get our food. Plus it took longer to get drinks - never got our water refilled etc. then came trying to get our check. My son chased down our waiter to get it. The hotel is gorgeous but I believe the room should have at least one dresser and a chair. We had a double suite and it seemed more like a Motel 6 with just one nightstand. We waited for 45 minutes to get an elevator and ended up walking down 13 flights. I guess only two were working on a holiday weekend??

Love the resort, but service was awful. Parking lots were full, pools were crowded, and service at restaurants was terrible. We reserved a table at License to Chill for my 50th birthday for 25 people. They said no problem when we booked it. When we got there, the table was set for 18 people. The staff would not fix it at all. They were at a complete loss. My family finally started pulling tables together to make it work. There were hardly any other people eating in the restaurant that night. Food was sub par and overpriced. We did love our lakeside cottage though.

We made reservations late afternoon of 8/23/24 and arrived that same day. We were informed of additional Fees we were not previously aware of nor prepared to pay. we attempted to canceled our reservation on site and was advised we would need to contact the booking site we had made the reservations through. When I did contact them they advised me that I would not be charged since we did not stay. Then on 8/26/24 My card was charged for the night even though we did not stay.

Margaritaville is primarily for people with children and middle-aged adults. If you do not fall into those 2 categories I wouldn’t recommend this location. For the name to be Margaritaville you’ll think they will have a lot of drink options, they don’t food was okay I guess. Me and my wife really just walked around and looked and eventually just went up to our room cause it wasn’t many activities we could partake in. We thought there was an adult only area and was wrong because kids were in that area splashing and diving into the pool. There were a lot of spiderwebs on the property in the dining and on the balcony’s in the room. To be honest it was boring. You can rent a boat, jetski and other things at Little Einstein that’s about it. We checked in 1 hour and 30 minutes after check in time because the rooms were not cleaned. If checkout time is 11am how are there no cleans at 4pm I don’t understand that. We were given a $100 room credit but I had to bring it up in order to get it. So upon checkin I was forced basically to stay downstairs instead of cooling down in my room after our drive in so that was unpleasant. It was over 100 degrees outside and the sun was sucking all your energy

The amenities are scarce. For the price it is not ideal. I would think if they had any concerts or events it would be much better. I went during the summer and there was not much going on. The pools, bar and amenities all closed early. There were few employess to help, serve food, open the two slides etc... Make sure you get there right at check in because most things close by 7:30 pm. The food at the restaurant and bars are extremely expensive and the servings are small. For instance chips and salsa was $18.

The property was ok. The staff at the pool area was not informed correctly. The guy tried to make me pay for a day pass, tho I was staying at the property. So these staff memebers were not trained correctly. The lazy river was warm, that could not be helped because of the weather. But it was dirty, like the chemicals were not being used correctly. Hot is one thing, dirty is not acceptable.

Our room smelled like dog urine, hallway carpets were stained. Property in poor condition. Not worth what was being charged. Pools and location were nice but everything was obviously aged and not kept up well. Need better restaurants and menu options. We ate off property. Just a disappointing experience for what we paid and not likely to return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The king room facing the lake/resort had a breath taking view. The room was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We stayed on a Sunday so there was no problem getting an elevator and we did not have to wait long for drinks or food. The atmosphere out at the pool and at the water park was really fun. We loved going around the lazy river and trying different kinds of margaritas. In the evening there was a big rainstorm and it was fun to have dinner at the License to Chill bar and watch the wind and rain outside the big windows while we ate delicious food. All and all a very fun trip!

Cottages are needed some TLC. Toilet seat was broken mildew and mold in shower area and ceiling. Towers the ice machines were not functioning properly. Had to travel multiple floors to get ice. The pools did not seem to be filtering well. We all had a smell on our swimsuits. Everything else was fine.

Checked in 7/10 and was told the pools, restaurants and bars were all close until 7/12. Instead of apologizing and offerings fair compensation for the lack of amenities the manager said oh well, if you dont like it you can stay elsewhere. Our room also had no air conditioning until morning and the property smelled stail.
