Our room is very nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good as well. No issues with parking. Staff at the front desk was very helpful too. Location was great overall - plenty of options for shops, malls and gas stations.

If you’re looking to travel to Montreal on a budget, this place is great. The only complaint I had was there are no elevators.

The property was very nice! Very spacious rooms. Breakfast was nice (eggs, sausages, oatmeal, breads). However I did have an issue with the front desk, as they told us check out was at 12pm and then we were awoken by banging on the door the morning of checkout at 10:45am and were made aware it was actually 11am. This was not very nice. The grocery store next door was convenient and was not very far from main transit stations.

1. Needs elevators!
2. Food! Sausage and eggs for six (6) days. No variation at all. The eggs and the sausages were on the same container; the eggs and the sausage should be separated! The apples were NOT fresh.
3. When you enter the room, the room smells musty or dank!

No complaints .... our stay was perfect. Have stayed there many times before.
Purpose of trip was to celebrate a birthday of 102 years old.

We booked this hotel because it appeared in Expedia's filters for locations near downtown Montreal, but it turned out to be much farther away than expected. Unfortunately, the property refused to cancel our reservation or allow us to transfer it to their downtown location, even though we called just 15 minutes after booking. Expedia was no help either, so we had no choice but to stay.
The location was far from convenient for us. The room was old, had a terrible odor, and felt damp and humid. The loud AC added to our discomfort. Breakfast was just okay—nothing special. On a positive note, the staff were nice and friendly.

The Econo Lodge is a nice place to stay. It is not far away from downtown Montreal. You can drive to downtown in 20 minutes if you do not have traffic jam. The staff there is very nice. The only issue is that the hotel has no elevator.

This is a great property but not for elders. Everywhere you are going to have to climb some uneven steps. It was very difficult for my grandmother to climb them. Beside that, it's a great place.

Great staff, rooms weren't modern or anything, but clean and comfortable, hot shower and good breakfast

It was an interesting site. The check in area was a separate building from where rooms were located. Buildings were clean, comfortable and plenty of parking which was great as we had a u-haul trailer. We missed the breakfast as it ended earlier than expected and we forgot to ask. Overall we would recommend.

Best Econo Lodge I have stayed at. Canadians know how to do it right. Not so much in the southern United States.

Next to a grocery store. Free parking and breakfast always a big plus.

Our stay was quieter than expected considering the major road. Convenient location, lots of things you need are within short walking distance. Room was very clean. Breakfast was included and was decent. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is not far from the REM station which takes you downtown.

The staffs are helpful and friendly, this location is close to many shops (in walking distance).

The free breakfast was great I love it. 2 major complaints are: the floors were quite dirty ( our baby had hands and legs black from a bit of crawling around) and the air conditioning was really loud and kept turning on and off which woke me up multiple times (the room felt quite humid as well so not really comfortable)

Somehow I booked a room in the basement with a jacuzzi in the living room. It was humid and smelled of chlorine. The staff were great and allowed us to switch rooms after our second night. The new room was clean, well-arranged, had a view of a field rather than the parking lot. It was a great relief. Hotel is a good price for Montreal area. Just be careful which room you book.

Maureen was excellent on booking in and made us so comfortable Howerver on leaving new guy was not so welcome as he was negative to our location upstairs and made us walk out in the rain to access our room!

This is the second time we stay here. We love every part of our stay.

The hotel was great, the almost two hour wait after the check in time to gain access to my room was not.

Sufficient parking, next to super store, restaurants nearby, limited choices but good free breakfast and free coffee. Worth every penny.

At first, when we arrived, we were slightly bothered by the fact, there was no elevator, and we had to carry our large bags up three flights of stairs. When we got to the room, it seemed very modern and from first appearances looked quite adequate. Went to bed the first night woke up in the morning Didn’t quite notice when I went to bed that the sheets had blood stains and hair that was not from me inside the bed. Went to the front desk and told him about it. They got housekeeping that day to come and change the sheets. Later in the day, I noticed a rash on my both sides and chest. Next morning got up to make coffee opened up the back of the coffee maker, and it was full of mold. Went to the front desk. They were very apologetic and got us a new coffee maker. They did offer up a $50 credit for our problems which was quite nice. The next morning I got up and found an old rolled up Band-Aid on the floor that looks like it may have come from under the bed. We noticed when walking around that the floor was so dirty that our socks were black on the bottom. I don’t think they’ve been washed in some time. They were extremely dirty. Because it was dark vinyl flooring, you couldn’t notice. On the last day at checkout, I went to the front desk to talk to someone waited there for about 10 minutes. Nobody showed up so we just left. We will not be returning to any of the hotels in this chain. They should have refunded our hotel stay.

We stayed in the property for 3 nights. Rooms were ok and staffs were polite and nice.
Please note there is no lift on the property and the accommodation is away from the breakfast serving place (10 meters max)
Over all it was nice place. Near to various shops, easy access to main roads etc.

Weekend visiting family in Montreal. We didn’t want to stay in the city and this location was convenient for our needs. The rooms were separate from the lobby in the back of the parking lot. Very quiet considering we were next to a busy route 134. Breakfast was just okay. Room was clean and comfortable. Keurig machine in the lobby was terrific! Very nice staff.
