was very clean. Furniture looked new. Amenities were good. Would definitely stay again.

Room smelt very musty, and like stale cigarettes could hardly stand it. Stains all over chairs dust hanging off ceiling.the breakfast was just cornflake, cherrios, poptarts and bread or eggo waffles my kids were too afraid to eat because of the condition of the hotel. The pool is extremely small and rundown.
2.0
Metal bed frames make noise when you Get in or out of bed or roll over. Not the best. And breakfast is all carbs with no decaf coffee.

The staff was over the top accommodating.
The mattresses were very comfortable.
Breakfast; we left to go eat. The coffee was weak, only milk for creamer
We really liked the quiet location. We came to DeKalb for a cousin’s funeral service.

Window sill had mystery stains. The desk chair had not so mysterious stains. The whole room smelled musty.
Bed was the best part of the stay.

I deserve a partial refund. The tub was stained with dirt, there were cigarette hole burns in some of the linens, and there were 3 of us staying in the room but only enough towels for 2. Additionally, breakfast was not what was advertised on the internet. There were no waffles and only Walmart treats available. This was not a good experience.

Staff not welcome a night shift

Had to pay a deposit I was unaware of. Person who checked me in was beyond rude. There was some kind of banging noise right next to my room and when I was showering sounding like the people talking were in my room. I left after a few hours and went to another hotel because I didn’t feel safe in my own room.

I booked a room but I did not stay. The staff was rude and they would accommodate for small children. I also requested a refund and they would provide one, when they stated they would. I would not recommend this hotel for a family stay with infant children.

After specifically calling to ask the day before my stay if service pets were allowed. I waa told yes, they are allowed. Until i got there & was threatened to get kicked out?!

Never checked into a hotel with bars on the reception desk. Very secluded area. Many shady people roaming the parking lot. We didn't stay.

This hotel was great excepted the 60 dollars fee for damage or whatever. This was not disclosed on the website or anything so be aware
3.0
The parking lot was very icy and not shoveled or salted at all. The floors in the hotel room were very old and made hollow banging sounds when we walked or even turned in bed.

The staff was nice the cleaning could be better

Our room did not feel clean. There was long black hair and crumbles of dirt in our sink.
2.0
The room was nicer than expected. The pool is small but a nice temp. The front desk was mostly unattended or partially attended.

Good for the price

It was a no thrills hotel like they say breakfast with mini donuts and bagels and Too cereal. And you could hear everybody talking in the halls little expensive for what you got.

Was NOT allowed to check in with our pet (cat) even though the website and sign on door said pets allowed. Front desk was rude and refused to print a cancelation and proof I was not going to be charged. I had to demand a cancelation. It was ridiculous
4.0
Close to the University and not as expensive as some others in the area
3.0
It’s a cheap hotel with a hard bed and minimal amenities

Don’t go there, especially if you’re a woman traveling alone or a woman with her children.
Allow me to list what I found objectionable:
1) they list themselves as pet friendly. Nowhere does it say there will be a $15 charge when you show up to check in, as if you’ve got an option at that point
2) they demanded my for a credit card on arrival and immediately charged me $100 that would be refundable if they didn’t smell smoke of tobacco or other things in our room. I don’t know these people and I’m supposed to trust them to tell the truth about my room and contest a charge from out of state?
3) the room was musty and carpet damp from window air conditioning and no dehumidifier
4) the holes patched in the bathroom wall look like they were done by a child with no paint applied to camouflage the lumpy application
5) the ceiling fan in the bathroom which came on automatically when you turned on the light is on its last legs and rattles loudly
5)) there was a suspicious red blotch on the bathroom wall behind the door
6) there is a gate down at the reception desk with a plastic sheet behind it which is both inhospitable, difficult to communicate through and is downright ugly.
7) we booked a double and we’re given only one card key—one!
8) television experience was poor.
I hope I’ve made it clear that this was an extremely BAD experience

It was weird to check in with the security gate down across the front counter. The carpets are old and need replaced. The room smelled funky, and the AC unit was old. It worked, but it was either on full blast or off. The exterior door at the far end of the building was supposed to be locked after 10pm, but the door was unlocked when we returned around midnight. Super 8 is usually my go-to hotel on trips, but this location was disappointing.

I have stayed here before. It is safe, quiet, and conveniently priced. I was very disappointed in the breakfast. It mostly consisted of cold cereal and white bread. On some days they had fresh fruit, but not every day.
I have been staying at this Super 8 for two years. The pool has never been open.

No elevator. Had to ask for clean pillow case after the room was just supposedly clean. Bathroom was tiny. Pool was not useable.

Ok for price, bathroom peeling paint and black mold . Here to sleep for a couple hours is all.
