For starters, there was not anyone at the front desk. To check in, a young man finally came up and was on his phone for a good minute before he finally acknowledged me standing there to check in. When we did get someone on the phone later to ask a question, was told to hang on because a guest walked up. I just needed to ask a question. Waited on them to return to phone and never did. Hung up, never called us back. It was extremely noisy with car engines revving throughout the night. I constantly smelled marijuana and saw a lot of sketchy folks. I would not recommend this location. Will not be back.

This was a fine place to stay for a 1-night stay before a game in Tuscaloosa. There was an issue at check-in that took a little time to get resolved, but it finally did. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable.

This hotel is in a beautiful part of the city. Hotel looks very nice on the outside but the rooms are not quite as nice as you might expect. They are functional and clean but it seems like an older hotel was given a quick paint job. Breakfast was fair. For the price it was a good hotel.

The room was musty, cold, and damp. The window unit needed a dry setting. The pull out sofa was scratched up like a dog's claws had damaged it. We reserved the room for 4, but there were only 3 towels. The mattress on the sofa bed was springy, extremely worn, and in need of replacement.

Booked online. Was quick and convenient to check in. When we arrived to the room, it smelled old and musty like mildew. It was a one night stay and it was already late so we didn’t complain because we were also on the fourth floor and had all our bags. The room was clean but smelled unpleasant. Once we laid in the bed it creeked and squeeked loudly as if it was broken. Rm 418 needs to be fixed. The fridge didn’t keep our drinks cold. The shower when pulling the plug up the use the shower head wouldn’t fully come on. It was half running water from the faucet and the other half on the shower head. No one should be in this room until it’s fixed. It’s so bad. Again it was late and we were too tired to complain but had to sleep on the far right of the bed to avoid the annoying noise the entire night. Would not stay again.

We checked in at 10pm after 9 hours of driving. Front desk clerk didn't even speak to me, other than to say "drivers license", "room 136", then "next"... The next morning, all the plumbing was clogged. Sink and shower backed up, and toilet the wouldn't flush. Our room looked like it got the landlord special, even the bathtub was painted. Don't let the nice pictures fool you.

Hotel was in a nice area right off the interstate! Room was nice but the floors were a little sticky. Very safe area, we had a car top carrier and it was safe all night. Staff was very nice and friendly! Stayed for one night on our way to Florida and it was very easy to get back on the interstate!

Nice enough. Was obviously an older place that has been redone, so it felt a bit cheap and cold in the room. The smell of carpet shampoo from the hallway (rooms were vinyl plank) was overwhelming. Exterior was very nice, along with pool. There is a gas station adjacent to it, but late night there is nothing decent to eat in the area. There’s an Arby’s next door, so as I said… nothing decent. Good enough value.

This was my first opportunity to stay at LaQuinta. The biggest surprise was the size of my room. The staff were friendly but a little noisy. My least favorite was the continental breakfast. I say that because the food was not good! The sausage was burnt, the eggs over overcooked, the muffins were nasty, and it was overall not appealing. Best thing at this hotel was the coffee in my room.

Floors were sticky when i walked on them barefoot, AC was broken, and walls were so thin i could hear talking/other TVs all night. I didn’t sleep a wink. Very unsanitary hotel and was oddly itchy from sleeping in the bed and got rashes on my legs.

The doors have zero sound proofing. I was woken up by the alarm clock in a room down the hall. I normally love free hotel Breakfasts, but this was possibly the worst I've had sausage and eggs, biscuits and gravy were terrible.

We had the worst experience at this hotel. We first arrived at 9pm and the front desk clerk was not very professional or hospitable. I had to ask where the elevator was and he just pointed. We got on the elevator and the lights were smoking. We got to the room and there was a piece in the middle of the floor that fell off the wall. The room was overdeoderized. We went back down the elevator and it was a delay in opening to the point we had to press buttons to get out. When requesting the second room we noticed the luggage cart was VERY dirty. We were so tired we ignored the signs and went to our new room that had an odor of mildew. The bed was comfortable but my grandmother was too short to climb in. We called to ask if they were standard beds or does the handicap accessible room have a lower bed. The front desk clerk had switched shifts and the young lady was rude and raising her voice over the phone. So when i came downstairs to explain her tone was unnecessary she cut me off and continued to raise her voice as if we were the problem. It was too late to switch rooms. When i asked to speak with management we were told he would not be on duty until the morning. When we checked out we expected to see management but were told that he decided not to come in. SPEND MORE MONEY and go somewhere safer and more accommodating. You will be glad you read my review and saved yourself the trauma.

The hotel was so gross. The smell of overwhelming deodorizer was horrible. We didn’t stay. Online ratings said very good. That was wrong. The front area wasn’t bad and you can tell had been updated. The room was horrible. Bed was hard. I was scared to stay there. The air conditioner didn’t work. I called the front desk and they immediately sent someone to look at it. There was a blown fuse that was fixed but the smell was too much.
