Didn't have info we:d submitted for pre checkin. Need more front desk staff. Staff wasn't aware of existing amenities, told us to go to next door hotel for bending machine. We finally found one on the premises. We were on the 3rd floor and there wasn't an ice machine, 2nd floor ice was broken.

The front desk service was good and the room was clean. A few issues we had were that the toilet was not bolted down on one side and rocked sideways when used to the point that was concerning. The shower head " screamed " when was turned on and only stopped when the head adjustment was turned and would still do it off and on. I suspect mineral buildup may be the problem. This was reported to the front desk but we never did get a response either way. Never did get any service on our second day there. Might have been nice to at least get a couple of clean towels. Virtually no communication on any issues back to us. Sunday morning at breakfast the garbage cans were overflowing and people were putting their garbage on the counters or just leaving it on the tables. The look was not good, never mind that it was mentioned to the front desk and staff just walked by them doing other things.

Service was terrible. We went to check in and arrived 1 hour early due to the time change that was a surprise to us. There was no one at the front desk. We searched around and finally found a kind girl mopping the floor. She got the receptionist and the receptionist proceeded to tell us there were no rooms available for another hour. I’m pretty sure she just didn’t want to check us in. I asked multiple times and she confirmed there were no rooms. I asked her if we could please check in so we didn’t have to wait in line in an hour and she begrudgingly did so. We were tired from driving so we sat in the lobby with our baggage we had lugged in. 5-10 minutes after sitting there she said, “your room is ready.” What kind of service is that?!! She just didn’t want to check us in initially and was trying to drive us away. I’m guessing her shift was almost over. She did it to a few more people while we were sitting in the lobby. Unacceptable for the hospitality industry.

Staff was pleasant and efficient. The property is worn and dated. Carper in the rooms and halls show wear and tear. Vanity light kept shutting off on its own. Bathroom door was stained with hand prints and needed to be cleaned. Furniture was fine. TV , refrigerator and microwave worked and were clean. I did not feel the rating to "wonderful" was a stretch.

Nothing thrilling about this place. It's a typical Super 8 with an inflated price. Would not recommend. Breakfast was mostly cold items. NO eggs, NO sausage. Had some noisy folks running down the hall and above us. I would not recommend or stay here again.

Overall property was good. Check in was slow due to a bus load of tourist and rooms not ready. Our room was good cam with a stoveand oven but it didn't work. Staff was helpful in recommending places to eat.

Rooms were confortable although if the smell was not so good. Receptionist was not nice. Laundry service was quite busy. Swimming pool water not clear. Area is full of hotels but with limited restaurants at walking distance. Car needed.

Unfortunately the room we booked with full kitchen facilities was unavailable due to flooding which meant we had to move rooms. The room we were allocated did not have these facilities, so we were in effect downgrade without any reimbursement. Breakfast which was included was nice but due to the large number of guests, there weren’t enough tables or microwaves so long queues formed.

Cindy is handicap was traveling alone. When she arrived, she had to stay in a non-handicap room. These trips for most of the time are made by her traveling only with her dog. I put the blame on Expedia. I have tried to update the Expedia account that a HANDICAP ROON IS A MUST NOT A D--N OPTION.
