We used to stay here often on our vacations to Fort Lauderdale. For some reason we stopped. Now we remember. We booked the hotel for this leg of our vacation thinking this place gave good service, was clean, location is okay, all positives. Plus free breakfast, pool and a hot tub. Well, the pool and hot tub are closed at sunset. That’s 6:45 PM this time of the year. So no pool or hot tub unless we finish dinner (somewhere off property) early and rush back to the hotel. That’s why we stopped booking this hotel. The front desk employee was disrespectful to my wife repeating “sun up, sun down” and waving her hands to demonstrate. We’ve always gotten good service here in the past. Had we known about the pool hours, we would have booked a different hotel. If you don’t mind the pool/tub open hours, it’s otherwise a good place to stay.

Clean and comfortable. A little dated with no good options for charging electronics and no room safe. This one is better than most LaQuintas. Short drive for restaurants and groceries. 20 minutes from the beach. The rooms were quiet even with large numbers of pet refugees from a hurricane on the west coast of Florida.

The breakfast was horrible, same items every day. I noticed an abundance of homeless people residing in the car park of the hotel and also coming in the morning to eat breakfast, the staff notices but does nothing. This created a feeling of unsafe.

We’ve stayed at this hotel 4 times prior and liked it every time, but after this last time, we will not be staying there again. The shower didn’t work; one of the handles flew off the wall as I was turning it and the water spewed out of it flooding the bathroom. They did not have any other room for me to take a shower. The TV didn’t work. The room smelled and was black mold on the ceiling. The AC was making a noise like it was doing laundry every 30 seconds or so. Our complains meant absolutely nothing to the staff. Very disappointed.

I've stayed here for few weeks earlier in the summer before the start of this sequence. This check-in with Wayne to start the new sequence was a bland experience. There were tidbits of hair possibly from the prior stay on the bathroom counter that I never reported (my fault in Not reporting). I hadn't allowed housekeeping into the room with my constant DND either. But, let's call attention to the missed opportunities. While, I had overlooked it, given my prior history staying here & all. And, I think the staff is right there to being on par. However, they may need to renew their commitment to their professional values to turn things around from the level of complacency being observed. Thank you.

Well, seemed like all the customers were staying on the same floor. One night a swarm of police officers were investigating on the same floor as our room. During the morning, all 4 cleaning ladies were vacuuming the hallway at 8 am. Kinda of hard to sleep with 4 vacuums running. Outside they were cutting tree branches in the parking lot and one limb was within 2 feet from my vehicle, so they had to come get me to move my vehicle. Not a comfortable, quiet place to stay.

The property is not well kept. The elevator is slow. The washers/dryers don't function properly (which management is aware of). The room that I was given was moldy and made my family sick. When I requested a different room I was told that none were available and no accommodations were made to exchange the room for a more conducive environment. I would not recommend this facility to anyone else.

Pros: They removed the carpets and left the floorboards exposed. It makes the room feel bigger and cooler. The staff was helpful. I love the new check in and check out process. It makes things so much smoother. Cons: I do wish the washing machine and dryer was card and coin operated (I don't like to use my card if the total is less than $10 and since it would have been, I didn't get to wash). Note: The con is a personal preference and it has no bearings on anything else pertaining to the room or the staff, because they were great, so I'll definitely recommend. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Breakfast was bland. Having a waffle maker is like the only benefit of the whole breakfast situation. Rooms were nice and cool. It was clean for the most part but did notice some hairs in the bathroom that were not ours. We also checked in very fast because we checked in online which was great. The shampoo and conditioner they left was Dove which was nice.
