Great hotel and team! Keep up the good work, well done.

not so good ; no warm welcome and panic in the restaurant during the breakfast
the hotel should be renewed asap ... more than 150 euros in Vannes out of the season period !!! I was expecting much better !

Excellent on site restaurant Edgars Brasserie. Hotel Breakfast was good. During Covid crisis you had to ask for your room to be made up rather than it being done every day automatically. This was not pointed out at check in. Parking good, not too far from town.

Whenever we need a hotel in France we either stay here or at the Roof, depending on which hotel is offering the best deal on hotels.com.
Never disappointed.
Used to use my Accor hotels loyalty membership but now always book through hotels.com.

Good clean modern hotel in easy reach if centre

A good middle of the road hotel.
Communication with reception staff was tough, my fault for not speaking French in France so can't really hold that against them.
Rooms are basic, cheap furnishings.
Staff don't tend to clean up very often, so at breakfast most tables are covered in dirty plates, and the tables around the small reception bar covered in glasses.
Its a nice 20 minute walk into town, and the same in the other direction to a small beach.
Loads of parking was a plus.
NOT a gym. Unairconditioned room with a treadmill.

Bed far to low and bathroom and separate toilet were a joke as I have utilised bigger shower cubicles than these two rooms combined!
Additionally, we requested a member of reception staff to book us a table at a particular restaurant for 8 pm our last night at the hotel and on checking all wad ok on our return from a days golf at 6.15 pm we were assured it was booked and fine, imagine my frame of mind when we get a phone call from hotel reception at 7.20 pm to tell us that it actually is not as we have not been booked in to the restaurant and it is now full, thus leaving us 20 minutes to find another suitable restaurant in Vannes, this on a Saturday night!
To say I was totally and completely unimpressed is a vast understatement, to the point I will never stay in this hotel again and will warn all our friends off it as well!

Nice hotel, very clean, lovely bathroom, friendly staff. Stayed for a business trip as it was in a good location for me. Was pleased with the standard of the hotel and would stay again.

Fairly new hotel near the inlet to the marina. Good base for visiting the town. Plenty of free parking space. Nice walks along the water side. Rooms ok. Breakfast was expensive.

Just stayed the one night. Really comfy, modern room. Good breakfast - big spread of stuff. Plenty of parking space. Bit out of town and restaurant wasnt open so getting dinner was a bit tricky. Nice view of port and sea though.

Definitely the best choice of hotel for a nice holiday in Vannes, France.
VERY nice & friendly people. This includes ALL the staff.
Rooms immaculate; elaborate breakfast and super delicious and ample parking, not to forget that the hotel is not very far from the city.
Totally recommendable!

Great hotel, rooms and staff. Easy bus transport into the town from right outside the hotel so you can forget the car. Just a little noisy if you like sleeping with the windows open due to the night club about 100 yards away! If you like sleeping with the windows closed, no problem! Thanks for the stay.

It was a decent hotel but you still needed to drive to the heart of the city

Stayed here for one night while on holiday touring France. Very nice hotel. A long walk into the centre of town but worth it, very nice old town, lots of bars and restaurants.

The room was very comfortable, staff helpful. Would recommend. I was travelling with a 5 yo and young baby under 1.

I chose this hotel because it is only 100 meters from the ferry dock for the islands in the Gulf of Morbihan where I was spending a week. Besides the convenient location, it turned out to be an excellent hotel from all points of view and with a nice restaurant attached to it as well. It was also a pretty easy walk into downtown Vannes - maybe 25 minutes. The only down side is that it is a long way from the Vannes train station if you have luggage to carry and there isn't a direct bus from the train station to the ferry dock so it is either a taxi or rent a car.

We were most surprised at the excellent quality of the hotel for the room price. It provided us with a perfect stopover.

We chose the Mecure Vannes Le Port because it offered free parkiing and a good price for a twin room. It was a good decision because parking and driving in Vannes itself looked very difficult and although a couple of kilometers from town it was a pleasant walk along the river. The hotel staff were very helpful and most spoke good English or could find someone who could. The hotel restuarant was good and there is a wide selection of restaurants in Vannes, we had an excellent meal at Brasserie de Halles in the rue des Halles which was recommened in the AA Guide.

Stayed in Vannes Mercure for one night April 2010, very disappointed with over all standard of room, very grubby. Paint peeling off window surrounds in corridor, stained carpets, generally a poor standard. Hotel expensive for the standard of room. Internet access in rooms expensive. Website photographs of rooms misleading. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
