Roach in the closet, refrigerator was turned off, old water in the ice bucket that had not been cleaned, pool closed

This place is a dump and should be listed as a 1 not a 7. First room-couldn’t hardly open the door (about to fall off hinge), light in bathroom not working and bathtub faucet was steady dripping. Second room they tried to give us, couldn’t hardly open the door again, smelled like mold-ceiling was peeling and looked like it was about to cave in. We left-couldn’t stay there.

When we arrived to our room it had a very musky and moldy smell. We noticed there was absolutely no toilet paper, no hand-soap, and the small shampoo bottle on the counter was half empty. There there were no washcloths, only two towels and one hand towel- being a family of four this was not going to work. Bed mattresses were sunken in from probably years of use. Carpet in hallway was soaked with water from AC, no ice in any of the ice makers. Highly recommend you stay elsewhere.

In general ok

Checked in no issues. Got to the room and no phone or fridge. Transferred across the hall to a room with no phone, on the backside if the elevator. Anytime the door would open or close it made a slamming noise. The pool was closed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok at best.

I checked in around 6:30 pm on friday August 23. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I got the room and neither key worked, so I had to go down to front desk and request new keys. After finally getting into the room it was hot. I turned the AC unit down as far as I could and it still was not blowing cold. I went back down to the front desk and she let me move rooms without any fuss. That AC blew cold. Around 4:45 AM i began hearing what sounded like a trash truck emptying a dumpster over and over again. I could not sleep so I just got up an hour and half before my alarm was set. Then after getting into the shower there was not a bar of soap to be found anywhere, I used shampoo for shower gel. Overall, not a good experience. I wont stay there again that is for sure. The ONLY POSITIVE PART OF MY STAY WAS THE YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WHO WAS VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. Hold onto her she is one of the only positives you have going for your hotel.

The hotel was very dated and unclean. The first room they put us in the ac did not work, had a terrible smell and there was mold all over the bathroom walls.

The room was very clean. The desk person was friendly, but I didn't like housekeeping knocking on the door at 10:00 a.m. Overall, I was happy with my stay.

There were 3 men sitting on the curb outside my window for about 2 hours. The pool and hot tub were out of order. But the worse part was a spider bit me on my thigh when I was sitting at the desk.

The hotel did not have any towels for a whole day. The a/c in our room system half did not blow, Bathroom tub and door hinges was rusted needs to be changed. The pool was not working had to go next door to used their swimming pool. I will not use this hotel no more. But the staff was nice tho.

A/C out in the common areas and elevator.

Steer clear of this place. It's one notch above a roach motel. The room had a musky smell. The tub faucet was running when we walked into our room. Took a lot of force to shut it off. The curtain rod was on the verge of falling off the wall, so the shower curtain wanted to fall to the middle of the curved rod. There was mold growing in the shower and the toilet was full of water stains. The entry door was.....not sure how to explain it.....just there. The a/c unit was being held up by wood blocks. I have never stayed in a Comfort Inn & Suites so badly in need of serious repair. The positive is it served its purpose and I did sleep well on a comfortable bed with clean linens. I just felt like I needed a shower after leaving.

I stayed in a single (king bed) room. The bed was comfy, the room (and bathroom) was clean, and it was pretty quiet. The shower didn't get very hot, but it was adequately warm. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioner was fighting for its life to keep the room at around 80 degrees - never got much cooler, despite being "set" to 62º on the unit even before I got to the room. Breakfast the next morning was good, and the coffee was strong and plentiful. All my interactions with the staff were pleasant. I would definitely stay again.

Clean. Good bed and pillows. Good complimentary breakfast. Will stay again.

I return to this location because of the staff .They are wonderful

I picked this hotel because it advertised a indoor pool and hot tub. Upon arrival, paid for the room. Then found out the pool and hot tub was closed for renovation. Went next door to Holiday Inn express.They had a working pool and hot tub. Payed for a room. Then returned to Comfort Inn for a refund.

I killed a cockroach as soon as I open the door. No towels and wash cloths in the room.

The room was dirty and very uncomfortable. We arrived there in the evening to find out that the pool was closed. We have two young children and only chose this hotel for the pool. We had already paid and were unable to get a refund unless we waited around another hour for tit to get settled. It was late and we had to get the kids to bed. The breakfast on in the morning was not clean and there were no options for a decent breakfast.

The young lady that checked me in was amazing. She went above and beyond. You should give her a raise

Great indoor pool for Texas weather

I chose this hotel for the hot tub and pool specifically, they were closed. the phone didn't work and had to change rooms because the tv didn't work.

It was a good stay

The pool and hot tub were freezing and over clorined

A little noisy because of other guests. The room window was so dirty you couldn’t see out. A place to stay that’s about the size of it.

Our stay so far has been great

All ice machines on evety floor level was not working. A large wet spot on carpet inside or room. Handle to shower was broken. Found bug on need in our room.

What a clean property. The bed was comfortable and this property is well kept, clean, and safe! We've stayed here numerous times on our trips to Sherman.
