We arrived and were given a key to our room...headed upstairs to find a do not disturb sign on our door with sounds of the TV coming through the door. I went downstairs to check with the front desk attendent and she wasn't there...I looked down the hall, outside, in the pool area and rang the bell five times as I was waiting. She came to the desk about 10 minutes later saying she was brushing her teeth. She made excuses for giving us the wrong room and gave us the key to another room. The bathtub was so dirty, worn and gross that we showered with a towel as a mat on the tub floor. There were buttons on the floor which tells us it probably wasn't vacuumed before we got there. The carpeting in the hallways and room was stained a lot. Just not a great stay. Bed seemed clean and was comfy. Went to blow dry my hair the next morning after my shower and the dryer was so damaged it wouldn't plug in. Went to tell the front desk but no one was there even throughout our whole breakfast which was at a decent time so someone should've been at the desk (8am-ish)

The check-in was the most memorable part of my stay. Ms. Collette was so nice and personable. The interactions with her co-workers was so genuine and I could tell that they loved and respected her so much. She also had a great sense of humor. I only stayed for one night but I will definitely consider this hotel again in the future when I return home to visit. Room was clean. They also have “real” breakfast and a pool that stayed in use. Good Job, Hotels.Com. Good Job, Baymont! Good Job, Ms. Collette! 👍 🍊 YEEHEE!

The entry door to our room was in poor condition which made entry a challenge.

The building and service was great.
The room needed an up date.
Elevator and inside need an update

The hotel is old, but very clean and the staff are friendly.

The hotel itself was fine. The room was good size. The pool was small. The carpets weren't great. I liked being able to check in on line and just pick up a key at the front desk. The price versus amenities ratio was fair. I would stay here again.

The outlet for phone charging was on the desk and connected to light switch. It would be better to be able to charge at bedside overnight.

This was just for a single night stop but the toliet was leanong the rug was not cleaned. The bed was hard. The grout was missing and wall paper looked like water damaged.

It is in great proximity to the Interstates. The convenience of stores and dining places is great and getting to the Dunes was pretty easy. Had a good stay!

The property was a bit run down, but the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beds were reasonably comfortable, rooms were clean. I knew I'd have to accept something that hasn't been updated in order to afford two hotel rooms while travelling with family, and it was just fine.

Its great if you're from the area and just want a basic room while visiting family and friends. You have to ask for towels, the breakfast is ok if you make it down before 7am and its picked over. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Check in was quick and the room was clean. My only issue was the low water pressure.

no clock in room, no ice machine on my floor, couldn't open door 3 times, only one elevator

It was fine for one night. The carpet definitely needs replaced and the breakfast was not very good. Had a hard time going to sleep because whoever was above mad so much noise. With all of that and it being a bit overpriced, I probably won't stay again unless I have no other options.

The staff was friendly and helpful in finding places to eat. They were very welcoming. The rooms were large but in need of updating. There were limited outlets for charging devices. Great location. Great family place. Perfect place for pets.

Carmen who serves breakfast was EXTRAORDINARY! She was kind, patient, and her food items were delicious and varied from day to day. Also, Miriam, the manager took extra care with room selection for my elderly mother. We stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful adventure in Indiana.

The property is old & worn, rooms are not very clean, & overall the place has not been well maintained.

I liked that the staff was very friendly and helpful for our stay. I didn’t like that the room key readers were down due to the power was out the night before our arrival but liked that the power was back on for our stay. A staff member had to use a master key to open the door to our room the first 2.5 days we were there.

It got the job done. Staff was friendly.
Lots of dogs and people living in this hotel. Mean loud aggressive dog next to us barked all night.

The room was okay. The bathroom had tiles with grout missing and the conditioner bottle provided was pretty much empty. The pool was a nice temperature, but the concrete edges looked dirty. Breakfast was super crowded and ran out of items pretty quickly. Staff didn't seem to care too much about guests.

Another good stay but early AM woken up my what sounded like they were doing work on the roof. We were on the third floor.

Breakfast would have been good if all stations were filled. Many people and not enough room. Not enough food either.

Overall, this hotel was nice. It’s older but the rooms were nice. The gym was extremely outdated so just a heads up if you want to work out

Loved it

Tub discolored at bottom and about two inches up the sides. Looks like tried to repair with epoxy paint and color didn’t match. Need to purchase tubs and get taller toilets. Carpet dark, should be lighter to match walls or get tile. Makes room look dated. Was traveling with family and they said the same as I described.

Great budget stay. Everything was clean if not a little run down. Service was fine and friendly. Breakfast was decent.

It is an old building but was clean as much as can be expected. And the beds were comfortable, offered better breakfast than other more expensive motels. It was a good stop-over place for us.

Nice property. Nothing fancy. Nice sized room. Very close to exit and everything one might need for an overnight stopover. Super friendly staff. We didn’t use the pool but it was being used and from view through window it looked nice and clean.

My room was dirty. The bathroom had sticky grime on the floor, a stray hair in the corner of the shower, and a dirty rag from a prior resident draped over the shower curtain rod. It either wasn’t cleaned prior to my stay… or it was cleaned with very little care.
