needed a last minute stop. Nice clean room and comfortable bed. The manager was great, coming down and correcting a TV router issue to get my TV back working

The only negative was the slow draining shower. You were standing in a couple inches of water by the time you got out.

This wasn’t good. Stained bedding, floors. No sink stopper, missing light bulb. Shower in disrepair. Not again!!!

I was happy to find a place who's listing illustrated a robust Continental breakfast, spacious rooms with small couches, and that pet friendly. Only two dogs and I needed a rest day after backpacking in the bighorns. The front desk staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The room was okay, it's a dated facility but with modern updates, clean and spacious. Spacious. But there was no mini couch in the room, which required watching TV from the bed. That never works well for my back. But if I can sit in a comfortable chair or couch to watch TV, so much the better. It turned out not to be that big of a deal, because the TV only receives one channel. That's fine if what you want to watch is Green acres, the Beverly hillbillies, and the Andy Griffith show. The lady in the room next to me brought her Amazon fire stick so she didn't have that problem. After coming off of a multi-day backpacking trip, and seeing such a beautiful deep tub, I was eager to take a bath. But the tub drain didn't close, so I went to the front desk mentioned the issue with the TV and the plug drain. They gave me a separate rubber plug for the tub. It was too small, and I didn't feel like going back a third time to ask for a different plug, or to tell them that the air conditioning did not work. The exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like a fire alarm. Slept well, until a very aggressive maintenance person. Did five different door knocks before 9:30. In the morning. Checkout was 11. I won't return.

Here’s my review of the Buffalo hotel: We didn’t even stay the night…barely felt comfortable sitting on the bed, let alone sleeping in it! Carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in recent memory, and in general, everything was dingy and in poor repair. Surrounding area even looked scetchy and abandoned. Before we had decided to run, we grabbed dinner at the restaurant next door, as we were tired and hungry from driving all day. I’ve never had guacamole that looked like split pea soup before… ugh! Another mistake, but solidified our decision to head on down the road!! We booked this on Hotels.com, and I would suggest they do their due diligence when featuring properties on their site. This one was advertised as being frequently booked. I think what they meant, is that’s what people do when they check in…. “Book”!

The wonderful people who checked me in were very friendly and courteous. After that, there wasn’t much. The fridge had leftover food in it and there was an undergarment in a drawer. I can live with that, as the price was very affordable and we were only spending one night. The night was awful. I felt like I was sleeping on bricks covered by cardboard. The comforter sounded like paper and was just as thin, so every time my husband or son moved, I heard a sound I can only equate to paper blowing in the wind. My husband later explained he thought the comforter was made of plastic. The toilet looked like a potty training chair for a child. I am not a big woman, but it was difficult even for me to sit and stand on/from the toilet. I didn’t expect much for the price, but I expected better. My stepson had a very enjoyable continental breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately, I didn’t get enough sleep to wake up before they stopped offering.
