Lovely one night stay in the Delany room. Very nice bathroom and bed. Service was excellent and the evening meal and breakfast were really nice. Buckland Manor is an excellent small country hotel set in some beautiful countryside.

Made to feel welcome from the word GO, pleasant, polite and very friendly staff.Excellent food and supeb wine cellar. Comfortable room, if a little hot.Spotlessly clean, and very well presented.Have been before and the Hotel seems to go from strength to strength. Not cheap, but we weren't looking for a cheap hotel. We will definitely visit again. Usual disclaimers

We couldn’t fault this property at all, from the very friendly and warm reception on arrival to our beautiful room complete with lovely linens on the bed. There was even a hot water bottle in the drawer for those extra chilly nights. They thought of everything. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Fabulous old building set in wonderful grounds. Great staff and warm welcome. My towel rail was right next to the loo and the handle of toilet broken and glued, otherwise bathroom was nice with large bath. The dining options outside of full scale dinner are limited but all food, including afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious, thanks

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Upscale with excellent dinner and breakfast service.

Positives: - Beautiful old manor hotel.
- beautiful surroundings
Negatives:
- More sustainability efforts. Less plastic toiletries.
- For the price you pay, the staff (reception, bar etc) needs to be more warm and welcoming. Our stay felt very impersonal. No one from management checked in with us during the stay. At 500£ per night this should be a requirement.
- Expensive price per night for outdated rooms.
- The common areas could have been more cozy. There was something missing here.

Food is amazing and the care taken by the staff is wonderful

Our room was 500 pounds a night and the venue was pretty enough but the service was shockingly bad. Arrived by car in the rain the doorman just watched us get wet and could have come out with an umbrella… checkin was like a motel….first nights dinner staff were having a party in the kitchen for all to hear… told waiter and they just got louder no respect and no training

4th stay here over the years. Beautiful, quiet location. Very friendly staff. Excellent food

This is a beautiful, antique filled property in a charming area of the Cotswolds. Our room was comfortable and the food, especially breakfast, was quite good. However it seems to need updating and there are areas of the property that could be upgraded. Staff was hit and miss. The dinner was good, though actually too many complimentary starters and fewer main and dessert options. All in all this needs someone with a fresh eye to add some verve to the place (without ruining its historic charm, of course).

Nice history and in a beautiful area of the Cotswolds. The room was nice but the bathroom emitted a bit of an unpleasant odor. We opened the window but this should be checked by houskeeping.

Staff extremely friendly and very helpful.

The hotel was situated in very calm area with a lot of natures. That was our first time to stay manor house, and the experience excited us from the moment we entered the gate to the time leaving the place.
The staffs were well organized to respond customers request quite properly, and we appreciated such hospitality at the reception, room service, bar and restaurant, everywhere including communication prior to the stay.
The garden had variety of flowers and I wished I could have stayed when the weather is sunnier and warmer, and I wrote down it as my todo in the next twelve months.
We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and the details which the restaurant served were excellent, especially liked the starter, slowly cooked mackerel, which was the best mackerel ever had in my life.
There was various type of groups e.g. families with babies or kids, senior and young couples, staying when we were there, and I liked that diversity and atmosphere everyone was respecting each group.
I will definitely come back, and will stay longer.

The building - Manor House- was gorgeous and historical at the same time. Sometimes those 2 don’t go hand in hand. It was very elegant with comfortable accommodations. The house is situated in the mist of a garden and very close to numerous walking trails. Also there is a very lovely church adjacent to the house. The waitstaff was very professional and friendly- the chef was first rate - I can’t say enough about what a gem this place truly is.

We stayed at Buckland Manor for 4 nights & had a really nice time. We loved the setting & gardens which were peaceful & relaxing. The staff were very welcoming, polite , helpful & attentive throughout our stay! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room, Green Room was a little dated in decor but spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was big and the toiletries were really nice. We were really pleased with our room overall. Our main issue was the instant coffee - tea and coffee making facilities were provided but the coffee provided was Nescafe Instant coffee which is just horrible. I don't know why a 4* star hotel does not provide a coffee machine. That being said we were able to order a fresh pot of ground coffee to our room every morning at a set time a not extra charge so that was really good. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant but did have food from the light meals menu on 2 occasions and both times the food was delicious. We chose not to eat in the main restaurant because you are required to wear a jacket which we felt for us was just too formal so cannot comment on the fine dining. The wine list was extensive but our one issue was that there was a limited choice of wines by the glass. Breakfast choice was really good and food was tasty. Not sure how can out of orange juice though which happened on morning!! But we were happy with other juices offered as an alternative.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again

A nice weekend break in a lovely area. Hotel a bit remote and 5 minutes drive to Broadway. Accommodation, food and drink very expensive especially disliked the room allocated which was Sophia and overlooked and right next to the graveyard. No locks on bedroom doors is strange and in this day and age poor that there are hunting pictures in the bedroom and hotel and very poor that a hotel of this standard does not offer a full vegetarian breakfast. When we asked for veggie sausages we were told that there isnt a demand for such.

Lovely peaceful hotel.superb setting in lovely gardens.bedroom was very comfy and clean.Hotel staff friendly and helpful.Miss Freckles the cat was a homely addition to the surroundings.dinner very nice but lack of vegetables was disappointing and portions were small I would recommend this hotel for a calm quiet break in beautiful setting and near to Broadway a typical Cotswold village.
