the hotel is beautiful! the staff is very welcoming. my only tip is that since the hotel is located in a central spot it is very noisy to get some sleep.

I STAY THERE 6 DAYS AND IT IS REAL~~THIS HOTEL IS CRAZY..... 1. TOILET LOOKS LIKE PUBLIC TOILET. 2. ROOM SMELL LIKE CHEAP MOTEL AND ROOM CONDITION ALSO LIKE CHEAP MOTEL. 3. EVERY HOTEL EMPLOOYEES LOOKS LIKE THEY HATE THEIR JOB..VERY RUDE AND NEVER SMILE 4. IF YOU ASK ICE FOR YOUR ROOM SERVICE THEY WILL SAY GO GET YOUR SELF. (BUT YOU WILL FIND THEIR BROKEN ICE MAKERS WITH FULL OF BACTERIA) 5. BREAKFAST LOOKS FANCY BUT TASTES GROWTH...THEY HAVE THIS DISGUSTING BACON I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I WONDER HOW THEY MAKE IT.. I WONDER WHO RATE THIS HOTEL 4 STARS.. THIS IS NOT EVEN 2 STAR HOTEL! BECAUSE OF THIS HOTEL I RUINED MY FEELING ABOUT PANAMA. THANKS. CONTINENTAL MOTEL :D

The hotel is very conveniently located in the center of the shopping and banking area. The experienced staff are ready with any kind of assistance, from the Bell hop and Front Desk clerek teo the waiters and bartenders. I've stayed here many times and never had a bad experience. However there are a few things perhaps they coild look at. Our room was sparsely furnished with only the bed, night tables and a desk and chair. There was no sofa or armchair in the large room. Also there was no literature whatsoever in tshe desk drawers. There are plenty of outlets for PC, mobiles etc. We were out one day and had put a do not disturb sign on the door. We removed it at 6pm and when we came home the room was made up clean! I definately would stay here again. They arranged pickup at the airport which was faultless. Just a few small things, that's all!

The worst ever NEVER AGAIN! Horrible front desk, rude security, rude front desk, property appears old and outdated, front desk staff not courteous, front desk staff argumentative and rude tone of voice with the guest and the guest guests. This place is a dump. They claim they never had a reservation even after i forward the email from Orbitz NEVER AGAIN!

Good building, clean and refurbished. With an excellent lighting and quick elevators, no need to wait too much as it's sometimes typical in Panamà. Even the airconditioning is not too cold, as it's again typical in other hotels in Panamà.

With a central location close to the subway, this hotel is ideally placed to explore the city. The staff come across as happy to help and the room was very comfortable. Two improvements: - the WiFi around our room was intermittent - some staff could benefit from more confident English.

The property is under some amount of renovations. The room I stayed in was OK, but many times in the morning, we had to let the water run for a while to get it to be Hot for a shower. The is overall GOOD- the at the door staff is EXCELLENT, the check in staff OK, they need to "smile more" (i felt I was bothering them when I asked for something), the restaurant staff for breakfast was "OK" . Hard to believe you need to wait for a coffee, since they do not have a machine at the buffet area so you may serve yourself - in this day and age it is a quick fix. The price versus quality of food is way out - VERY expensive food as compared to local eating places within walking distance from the hotel. I would stay again, now knowing the shortcomings of the Hotel.

The key card would not open the door because the door reader was broken. I understand things happen and I wasn't upset by this, But the problem is they kept saying they would repair the door and never did. So every time I returned to my room my key would not work and I had to go back down the elevator 9 floors and tell them. Then they would come key the door open and tell me again they would fix it. Repeat this every time I returned to the room . they never fixed the problem, just kept saying they would.

The Continental Hotel was an excellent choice for my visit. It was centrally located to the city near shopping opportunities and walking distance to everything I needed. The area was safe and the presence of police was high to keep down crime. I felt very comfortable and safe walking the streets during my stay. The hotel and staff members were helpful in providing anything I asked for. They were also very friendly. I enjoyed my stay very well.Bernie

The hotel is dated but the rooms, at least the one I was given, have been refurbished and are very comfortable. The Wifi was excellent, one of the best I've ever used in a hotel anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby making the hotel very well located. Great and friendly staff. My only complaint was the staff during breakfast. While the breakfast buffet is great, the staff laughing and talking loudly with each other, leaning on chairs and ignoring guests was troublesome. Happened every morning during my stay so not an isolated incident. Great breakfast though!

I had 2 different rooms over 5 nights ,just due to the way I booked the hotel , the first room for 2 night was comfortable and clean , the second room for 3 nights was great ,super clean ,warm robe and slippers and nice sheets and pillows ,hard to leave the room at times because it was so comfy .

The staff was absolutely wonderful. It was very easy to communicate with them since most of the staff spoke conversational English. Great location if you're interested in being close to the city!
