The staff at this hotel were excellent . The rooms were lovely and nicely furnished. Slight moan about the pillows which were solid.
My only other complaint is the charge of 42 euros for the breakfast which I think is obscene. On offer as well as a continental breakfast was scrambled egg ,bacon and sausage. I’m sure if we had asked then more choice might have been available from the kitchen but was certainly not on view and nor was it offered.
This would certainly not stop me staying in future but I would probably go elsewhere for breakfast.

Great location. Beautiful property.

Great place if you want to stay in a 17th century French Chateau. Friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Well manicured and the flowers are beautiful. Many impressionist painters have stayed there in the past including Monet. We stayed in July and be aware that the main building does not have air conditioning. The newer building does have AC. We stayed in a beautiful 3rd floor corner room with a garden / water view. The hotel had a portable AC unit and fans available for this room (upon request) so everything worked out. Probably only need them a few weeks out of the year. Very pleasant cool evenings otherwise. 5 star experience. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful well manicured relaxing property. The room was very spacious w high quality amenities
Staff was very refined and accommodating

Even though we we told the new building we were staying was “finished” last December, there was construction (jack hammering) all day long. Unlike every other R&C property, they gave away all the dinner reservations to people who were not guests of the hotel, so we had to eat somewhere else …,

Beautiful five-star resort. Pampered from the moment we arrived. Impeccable service and beautiful appointments and surroundings. Staff was friendly and responsive. Easy walk to town. Perfect location. Room was large and comfortable.

One of the best Relaix & Chateau properties I have ever stayed at. I could not find a single fault to say about this property, everything is top notch and exceeded expectations.
From Check - in, to the friendly staff and welcome champagne for me and my guest, the stay was 10/10. The room was well appointed, large and spacious with our one balcony facing the ocean. Housekeeping was also prompt with requests.
The grounds were well manicured with lots of florals, a pretty sight.
The gastronmic restaurant "Le Impressionists" was also top-tier fine dining, do not miss the tasting menu. Bar in the main building has a great selection if cocktails and wines.
The location is also fantastic, a mere 10 minute walk to the heart of Honfleur, so it stays quiet at night but close enough to the town.

This place was beautiful! The grounds, room, and common area were all stunning. The staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. There is no need to think or put any effort into anything once you arrive. They will take care of it all. A very relaxing stay at a beautiful chateau. Not to mention the incredible food offered at both restaurants and for breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Honfleur.

I stored my breastmilk in the hotel freezer and they threw it away. 3 days of milk gone. I trusted them and they broke this trust. In addition, room service for dinner did not arrive at all - waited for over 2 hours.

This is the very essence of high class hotel: It is classy, quiet, has marvelous service, is grossly overpriced, and does not particularly care. Take it or leave it. Drinks are fabulous, and cost 20 Euros. Dinner is presented as spectacularly as could be, but is limited in choice, and, of course, is also way overpriced. Be warned!

This beautiful 5 star hotel with a 5 star dining experience and hopefully in 2 weeks will be a Michelin star. You feel and see why Monet loved this place so much. We would love to come back….

We stayed renovated room with balcony for 2 nights.
However, balcony is wide extend to neighbors, so neighbors could reach us without any partition between.
So, we couldn’t open our widow nor curtains to get our privacy.
And the renovation was still on and not completed.
So, they stared to work very early morning and they made fire alarms in the very early morning!
However, hotel didn’t explain anything about alarm.
Then, they stopped water and hot water supply right after the fire alarm ringing.
We have been waiting to get water for 1 hour and hot water didn’t come, so we obliged to get hot water for another 30 minutes.
It was nothing confortable and they shouldn’t take any reservation, if they were not completed the work.
Even those uncomfortable stay, they fully charged room.
And the manager didn’t come out to meet us for apologizing but only reception staffs.
I was wondering if this hotel rates 5 stars quality and member of Relais & Châteaux ?
We have been many other hotels under Relais & Châteaux but no more to choose this group.

The property is very nice and well kept... the only issue we had was with the “Euro style” Tub/shower, which was more rub than shower.

Very nice property, we stayed during off season and found the bistro to be quite nice. The hotel arranged tours to the landing beaches and Mont Saint Michel. The guide service they placed us with was superb. We enjoyed the fire in the lounge each night with a nice selection of calvados available.

This property is amazing. Not only do you get 1st class service, but you also get to stay in a hotel with amazing history. We didn't realize that most of the great impressionist painters stayed here. Monet even painted it.

very nice property but the service lags behind... no air condition in the room for a five star hotel is unacceptable!!!

No air conditioner. No shower. Only a tub. pretty area. They raised our price 100.00 euros for a small air conditioned room up in the attic

Absolutely wonderful property with an even better 5 star restaurant onsite. 5-10 minute walk into the center of town. Great location! Could not have had a better experience!

Wonderful, charming hotel with an excellent staff-was a most memorable stay in the charming city.

The hotel was not good value when compared to other hotels including lower grade 4 star hotels. Location was not agreeable and difficult to get to by car. I would not repeat a stay there. Way over priced! I will ask you the same question. Did you review it before putting it on your website??

My wife and stayed at the La Ferme Saint Simeon on the recommendation of friends. We were blown away by the classy experience! It started with Champagne at our check-in and extended to the helpful staff and quality of everything in the room. It’s expensive, but worth it!

We have stayed in Honfleur on previous occasions but this was the first time at La Ferme Saint Simeon. We had a lovely, and comfortable room overlooking the water and gardens. The hotel is very attractively furnished and we found its situation, just to the edge of town, extremely convenient. We were able to walk into town and had no need of our car.

My husband and I only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. A beautiful place with lovely staff. It is about a 10 minute walk to town or a very short drive.

The grounds are beautiful, the setting lovely. The room, although nice, was over priced. The one side of the bed was very difficult to use due to the beam. Bed was very comfortable, however. There was no hair dryer in the room, so had to ask, but it arrived promptly. It would have been nice to have a small coffee maker in the room as no room service until 8am, and breakfast not ready until after 7:30am. The maid arrived one night at 10pm to turn down the bed! After a long day of sightseeing, one does not want to have someone knocking on their door at that time. The coffee served in the dining room was not very good- very weak, like instant coffee. Otherwise, our dinner was outstanding there and the dining room lovely.

We felt thoroughly spoilt- the food was excellent. Breakfast was the best ever. A great location with wonderful facilities- spa was cool. Staff were helpful, bed sumptuous and it was wonderfully quiet. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet special break

Most helpful and charming welcome even to the extent of changing the GPS of our rental car from French to English! Beautiful grounds overlooking the Seine.

We stayed here for 2 nights before returning home from touring France. Our first visit to this hotel and we will definitely return. From the very warm , friendly and helpful welcome we received upon check in, everything was perfect. The hotel is full of character, spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. The food and drinks are a little on the expensive side but again, faultless. We had an amazing suite, which was not in the main hotel but that wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The hotel was wonderful The restaurant however was awful, not good, arrogant waiter and a way too expensive for the quality
2.0
We thought the hotel itself, the grounds & surroundings, and staff were fantastic. We would recommend it to anybody. We thought the dinner in the hotel though was massively overpriced and of only mediocre quality (the service was excellent though).
