Close to the intercity bus but there seems to be no public transport within the city
Check in was quick and easy

This place SHOULD NOT BE on Hotels.com. It was the most disgusting Econo Lodge ever. Dead mouse in our room, electrical hanging off walls, walls in need of repairs. stinky, filthy. We left, wouldn't let a pet stay there. Not happy at all. I am sure you won't post this as you indicate that you will remove a post.

Over all, the room was decent. It could use a deep carpet clean. Also, need tissues and a hair dryer. The bed was comfortable.

beds & bathroom were clean & the 2 staff interactions were fine. i'm not too picky but there was no smoke detector, peep hole was nonexistent but had a small plastic trash bag through the hole & inside window was filthy w/dead bugs. just take vacuum hose to it couple times a week& it would b good, shower head was horrible, toilet was completely loose, microwave was dirty, fridge smelled of straight bleach, remote didn’t work & channel buttons on the tv didn’t work.

Key didn't work to open the door. Room not very clean. Smelled musty. Blankets did not look clean as there was stuff stuck to the one. No toilet paper holder to hang toilet paper. No fan in the bathroom. No lock on bathroom door, door did also not shut well.

We had 2 rooms. Both dirty, one was worse than the other. Windows were open in both rooms when we arrived and one room had spiders. While cleanliness was an issue it paled in comparison to the rampant bad behavior of other guests at the hotel. Apparently, there are long term tenants at the Econo Lodge. They were loud with music waking us up at 3:30 am and again at 6:30 am. The hotel only asked them to turn down the music after I complained. And really, you do not ask someone to turn music down at 3:30 am—you tell them to turn it off. Only when I banged on the door did they turn it off. There were also people wondering the halls the same night as the loud music and they knocked on our friends door around 4:00am and tried to force their way in. All of this occurred on our 2nd night. On the 3rd night, people were again wondering the halls and being extremely loud at 3:40 am. Particularly one woman who is also a long term renter. She was still screaming and ranting when we were checking out around 9:30 am and several other guests were complaining. It was obvious that she was on drugs. I believe that this place is participating in accepting Section 8 tenants. We were unaware of this when we booked our rooms. We had major concerns for our safety. Words were exchanged between myself and the man playing his loud music in the middle of the night. Felt very unsafe. Section 8? Or hotel? We would never have booked knowing they catered to longtime tenants. UNSAFE.

The place is a dump, paint peeling off the walls and ceiling, toilet leaked, tub and shower fixtures rusting and hard to operate. The refrigerator was full of frost and dirty. The smoke and carbon monoxide detector just had some wires hanging out of it.
I have stayed in some pretty nasty places in the last 50 years, this one is in the top 3

As soon as we got off the car there was already a bad smell a lot of smoking around the area. Once we went into the building there was a lot of cigarrette/smoking smell. The room was not clean at all there was a dead roach on the counter top as we entered. The bathroom had hair on the sink. It felt very dirty. Not going to lie we just needed a place to sleep the night and I even slept with my clothes on because I felt that disgusted. Throughout the night there was a lot of noise outside people screaming. Did not feel safe. All I hoped for was that the car wouldn't get stolen.

Made reservation in the morning of April 6 2024 and by the afternoon I was admitted for hospital three day stay thru emergency room visit. I called three times and was placed on hold until phone call dropped. Tried speaking with the manager A.J and he was yelling at me over the phone and was very unprofessional and disrespectful.

Night 1- the lady who checked us in was nice. The hallway reeked of weed. The room was lacking. The smoke detector was gone: just wires hanging from the ceiling. The toilet only flushed after multiple attempts. The water only ran cold. An empty water bottle left on the window. A screw driver fell out of the sheet.
Night 2- had to pull teeth to get additional towels.
Not the worst place we have ever stayed, but definitely ranks near the bottom.

Smells like cigarette and weed smoke. Old doors that didn’t lock well. Hot water lasted for about a 5 min shower. Dirty bathroom and bathtub. Overall grimy and dirty. We got what we paid for it.

Didn't even bother going in. The entire place was run down and completely empty. Looked at the Google reviews and everyone said it was full of bed bugs and dirty. Should be taken off the site until it can correct all the issues

Check in was absolutely insane. My fiancée used her card to purchase the room for me, but the reservation was in my name and it was just me staying there. (My fiancée doesn’t live here)
When I got to the hotel, they wouldn’t let me check in because the room had been paid for by her and she wasn’t there. (My fiancée checked while making the reservation and made sure that there was nothing in the terms and conditions about the card used for the reservation needing to be in the same name as the person who was staying.)
I called Hotels.com, and they tried to call the hotel to sort it out with them, but they just hung up the phone on Hotels.com! I tried speaking with a manager, but they weren’t at the hotel. It didn’t help that there was a significant language barrier with the hotel. They wouldn’t even let me cancel the reservation. Eventually, they allowed me to check in, but only after dealing with them for almost an hour and even getting my fiancée to get on a video call with them! Do NOT recommend- awful service and just ridiculous lack of communication.

The place was dated definitely and in construction. It smelled like paint and cigarettes. Someone pulled the firealarm at 1:30 in the morning. It was good for the price I will say.

The lady at the front desk when we checked in on Sept 29 was great.
The keys didnt work took 3 tries do get one thst worked. Key didnt work on outside entrance door. Very limited hot water had to take shower at night to havr hot water. Internet didnt work at all. Had to have desk clerk come yo room to get tv to work. Asked for housekeeping not to enter room do to sterilization fir dialysis pt. Was suppose to leave trash bags and more linen outside but failed to do so. Phone didnt work had to monkey with that to get to work. Beds were semi comfortable. No handle or rail to hang on to getting in and out of shower. VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY. Joined Choice hotel point system expect to get points for my 3 night stay and feel I deserve a free night at another Choice hotel.

Infested with cockroaches you turn the light on and they are coming out from the light switch panel which means they are in the walls there was no food in my room and I am not near a kitchen. The mattress had a mold of a person body in it like it came from a nursing home
