Cleanliness was questionable…. I asked the staff to have cleaners clean the bathroom again. They came and left the problem area the exact same. I let staff know again. The lady came down and took pictures of the problem. She was very upset and apologized…

Should have been advised property under construction, room availability delayed - sent away 2x, complex had no water, other angry guests storming thru hallway. After many stays over many years, won’t stay at this location again.

The property was being refurbished which is great because it is much needed. The staff managing the breakfast area and morning front desk were very unhelpful. They ran out of food midway through breakfast. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk staff she told us they “were working on it”. But then proceeded to wait 20 minutes to check in on the kitchen. Which then told the waiting diners that they would have to make more. Very frustrating. The housekeeping staff on the other hand was very friendly and helpful.

The room and very was hot and very humid when we checked in. The AC had been set to Fan Only. When we turned the air on, something inside the vent caused both of us to immediately start coughing and sneezing. We became congested each time we entered the room. The AC may have mold in it and needs to be cleaned.

I was told at checkin that my reservation for king room was changed to 2 queen and my room that I had already selected was already occupied. The excuse I was given was that I booked with 3rd party and they changed my reservation which was an absolute lie. The carpet in room was sticky and dingy. The sink didn’t drain properly. I had to wait till it drained to clean it again!

It is an average stay due to the fact that they are currently undergoing renovations, and there is some worker traffic in the hotel. In addition to the noise from the renovations. Other than that, it is a conveniently close hotel to the Mayo Clinic, and they offer transportation to the clinic. There is plenty of parking around the property.

The room appeared clean, however it had a very musty smell. Lowered the ac to see if that would help and it did not. I told the girl at the front desk and she did nothing about it. I'm guessing all the rooms must smell otherwise I would of thought she would have offered to move me. Hotels.com said my room price with tax would be $147. The hotel charged my card $157. Also, i accidentally left my room key upstairs when i left the hotel for dinner. When I returned at about 730pm there was no one at the desk for over 15 minutes. I was told by a guest that was waiting that she was fixing something in his room and she'd be back shortly. She was a one man show so at least 4 guests that I saw had to wait for a while. The hotel was in a convenient location to the mayo clinic which is why I had to be in town. I'll pick a different one next time. There are plenty of options around.

We were not told that water was going to be turned off every day 10-5 when booking and actually talking to the person at the desk. We were told when we checked in but it was too late to book another hotel. We had to be able to be in our room at all hours. We bought water and filled the bathtub to be able to use the toilet by refilling it from the bathtub. However, I got ill and these conditions weren’t going to work. So, we checked out early and went home, unable to conclude the reason for our trip.

It was close to many things which made it convenient. We were told at check in that they were renovating and there may be noise. This should have been conveyed at booking. It was very noisy and annoying. Drain didn’t work in the shower, beds were like boards, and the floor grout was disgusting. We spent way too much for this! Don’t recommend.

When we first arrived I asked woman at front desk for help about parking at another location. She would not call for me or even try to find out anything for me. Next day I asked different woman who called for me. She was helpful and understanding. I had been trying to call the Hampton inn in Savannah for days and could not get thru to them. Second woman was helpful. First needs to learn customer service.

This hotel is hit or miss. We’ve had good rooms and not so good rooms. This one was OK. The sofa bed was comfortable but the TV didn’t work. I called the front desk and their solution was to unplug and plug in again. That didn’t work. The bathroom was very clean but the shower faucet was loose and awkward to turn on and off. Overall the stay was OK. Not as good as the last time but better than the time before.

The bathrooms are abominable. The toilet bowls have awful brown spots that can be easily cleaned with Limeaway, the bottom of the tubs are bad. Our checkin employee, Maria, was amazing: the best I have encountered in 30 years of extensive travel
